Quality of hotel is average, not super, but not bad either. The adjacent restaurant/bar (Elephant + Castle) is very nice, good food for a good price and a nice atmosphere. On Saturday night there was substantial noise from hotel guests returning late from nightlife. The walls of the rooms seemed to be thin in general, a conversation next door could be followed word-to-word. |

Central location was good. Staff helpful. My one disappointment was I asked where the Macy's store was and was directed to another shop which I found out later to be exactlly the same distance as Macy's from the hotel, (3 blocks). Only had limited time to purchase some clothing before my flight, found the other clothing shop unsatisfactory. It would have good if the receptionist had taken the time which she appeared to have to find out how to get to Macy's. |

The hotel was clean, convenient to many activities, there is a discounted parking garage nearby ($8/day), and it was quiet. This hotel is designed for business travelers - ie one person - and we had a family of 3. There was plenty of room to sleep, etc., but there was only one set of towels. We asked for more and they were never delivered. |

Reasonably priced for Boston. Near major attractions and Boston South station. Need to have a room key to be able to use the elevators. Some guest items, such as extra blankets and irons/ironing boards, are in hallway closets, to be shared by guests on that floor. Too much noise from adjoining room, perhaps because entrance doors are right next to each other. Also, the guests had the TV sound up, and sounded like they were having a party. |

the location could not be beaten for the price, a short walk to Quincy Markets, Macy's, South Station and the Common! Fantastic location, and you get the sense that you are payng for comfort and efficiency, not the frills. |

Easy access to the T (metro) and Freedom Trail. I thought the front desk staff was helpful but not very friendly. |

The location is fabulous. The staff was helpful and I appreciated the free use of the computers downstairs. The walls were paper thin and I could hear everything in the room next door, conversations, alarms, showers... I also had to be moved to a higher room on Saturday night as it was a kareoke night in the pub below and I could hear everything. Lots of pros and cons. My carpet was also dirty but the beds were clean and comfortable. |

We were flying home in the evening and could spend the whole day in Boston. We therefore wanted to leave our baggage in the hotel. It was very well stored during our trip in Boston. |

The rooms are small, but clean, modern and with internet connection. The best is the pub beside the lobby. Everything of the attractions, if sight seeing or shopping, are in walking distance. From Loogan airport to the hotel take the blue line to State St., the rest you can easily walk. |

The convenient location to the airport subway station, likewise to the facilities at Quince Market and environs and to the subway to Cambridge, where we visited often. The availability of the coffee maker and supplies was important to us and the hotel facilities met our every need, especially the use of the computer for our airline boarding passes. This was our second stay here and it will hopefully not be our last one. One day our room was not made up until after 4PM, and after some effort to get the job done. |

The location is great! Although located in the city's business district, many tourist attractions are by walking distance. The check in is very quick and efficient. The hotel is connected to a pub called Elephant & Castle that provides quite affordable food, which is nice especially for breakfast. And Chinatown is also by walking distance, which is essential for us Asians :) Overall, we had a good stay. The bathroom is small, and they may want to keep the carpet cleaner (steam them sometime instead of only relying on vacuum). And the weekday parking is expensive! So better make sure you come on the weekends, which is $10 per night minus 20% discount from the hotel. |
