Club Quarters Midtown -Times Square

Wir haben eine Suite gebucht und bezahlt, bekommen haben wir ein Standardzimmer, da laut Aussage und Bestätigung des Hotels Suiten dort überhaupt nicht verfügbar sind. Das Zimmer war klein, schmutzig - vor allem das Bad und das Bett - und sehr laut, bedingt durch die im Fenster unsachgemäß eingebaute Klimaanlage. Das Personal war zudem sehr unfreundlich. Das Zimmer war bei unserer Ankunft um 21 Uhr noch nicht sauber gemacht und bezugsfertig - wir mussten ca. 20 Minuten warten.

In der Suite war das Schlafzimmer nicht durch eine Tür abgetrennt. Der Lärm der Klimaanlage vom Hinterhof war durchweg kaum zu ertragen.

Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig. Nur fünf Minuten zur Grand Central Station und zum Times Square. Zwei U-Bahn Stationen und zwei Buslinien liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Außerdem Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Einige Zimmer sind sehr klein, sehr laut und sehr dunkel. Ich kenne das Hotel von anderen Aufenthalten und habe deshalb ein besonders ruhiges und helles Zimmer angefragt. Das war dann auch völlig in Ordnung.

The a/c was annoying, very loud and not working properly

We had an executive suite which was very comfortable and clean. Location is perfect and hotel is very quiet apart from the noise from the aircon. We had a fridge and microwave in our room which was useful. Bed was large and comfortable and plenty of space for storing clothes etc. Hair dryer is good quality. Good value pricewise and would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Could not get the pay per view movies to work in room. Contacted reception but still did not work. I don't expect impeccable service as it's not that type of hotel. Infact, one of the reasons I like Club Quarters is that you don't have to deal with people too much. However, the front of house staff were inconsistent. Some were helpful and friendly others would not even say good morning/good evening. I don't want to be their best friend, but surely they could muster up a simple hello? Could not get the self-serve check out to work either. (this looks like I struggle with technology, I really don't!)

Excellent service, although the Bar wasn't amazing and staff there were a little unhelpful but on the whole very good. Booking early gave us the executive suite which was very nice and bigger than a standard room. The addition of the free wifi in the room really helped as did access to the PC's downstairs to print boarding passes etc.

The rate was excellent as well as the room. You can't beat the location especially for the price we received. I liked the way a guest could easily access extra coffee, creamer, towels, etc. without a hassle or problem.

The hotel is near the theater district and Times Square, so It's the best place to see the N.Y.City.

Good hotels for location and amenities. Wi-Fi speed is good and rooms are clean and simple.

Location itself is a little bit noisy. And sounds from other rooms are not able to block.

This is my third time staying at the hotel and I choose it primarily for its central location

The room was not cleaned to an acceptable standard

Although the room was clean, it was very dusty. It seemed to just float in the air. I dusted by belongings and laptop on my return each day. The air conditioner in ph16 never operated properly, with the controls hanging on a wire outside the unit my whole stay.

Dusty rooms, ventilation system needs work. Elevator are way too small. It is why New York should not be like the uk!
