Absolutely Fabulous Location!!! Walking Distance To everything!!!! The Hotel and The Entire Staff Were Wonderful, And I was Pleasantly Surprised with the Size Of My Room, perfect... More Than Enough Space For Me & All My Luggage, and I Do Not Travel Lightly!!! Very Clean & Comfortable, Even Had a lil "Home" Kinda Feel To It!! And...VERY Quiet!!! I Was On The 6th Floor And Never Ever Heard Any OutSide Noise... The Front Desk Staff, All The Staff, Were a Delight, Very Very Pleasant & Kind and Super Helpful, Even With All My Luggage!!! I Arrived Early and They Held All My Bags For Me While I Wondered Around nyc, and When I Returned, All My Bags Were Upstairs Waiting For Me In My Room!! And When I Checked Out, They Once Again Held My Luggage While As I Had One Last Run Around nyc Until It Was Time For The Airport, I Even Called The Front Desk From Herald Square to Ask If They Could Have All My Bags Ready & Waiting For Me As I Was Having More Fun Than My Time Allowed & Was Now a bit Later Than I Should Be Heading To Airport, and They Did!! My Taxi Stopped, They Brought My Bags Out & Even Put Them In Taxi!! Wonderful hotel & staff I will so so sooooo stay here again!!!
Excellent and welcoming staff, go above and beyond duty to satisfy their clients. Perfect location, 2 minutes walking from Times Square
Pillows were unbelievably comfortable Location was great Staff were very good Room size was ok after all we only used it to sleep in
Bathroom was tiny Heater in room was noisy and had to turn off at night because of the noise when it would cut back in
Location was perfect. Staff were great. Very clean!
Rooms could do with an update. Smell of cigarette smoke coming from another room made its way into our room a few times. Very noisy from stairwell and from road outside.
Restaurant was very pretty and prices were very reasonable.
When travelling it is nice to have an iron or steamer in the room. We were on the 5th floor and you were not able to exit the building via the stairs. A little concerning as a safety issue as I come from a firefighter family and this is something I look at.
Superb location friendly staff Good food will stay again
I liked the exceptional staff. The hotel was welcoming and it was nice that people remembered you and cared about your experience. The little extras in the shared areas were appreciated, i.e. beverages, snacks, computers, etc. the hotel was clean and in a excellent location.
Very good location. I am a young girl and the location of the hotel is perfect! It is near Times Square and there are two banks nearby, so there are some people on streets in the midnight. It guarantees my security! Staff are really helpful!!!
Great location with proximity to all Midtown sights (Radio City, Times Sq, Empire State, Grand Central, Rockefeller Centre, New York Library etc) plus close subway station to get further afield. Tea/Coffee machine in lounge area & complimentary WiFi were welcome bonuses.
No issues to speak of
Pretty much everything. The lounge and restaurant facilities were particularly good.
We returned to Club Quarters; love the location and the wonderful, welcoming staff. The room a but tired but the bath and shower seemed newer and very enjoyable. Liked being on the 12th floor. NO NOISE from the elevator across the hall!!
Room furniture and bath wall paper worn. The mattress was in good condition and comfortable. Not really complaining because the price was really reasonable.
Everthing is small. Elevator, room, toilet.
Location, simplicity, elegant living room and work/leisure space with everything to make it a pleasure, excellent dining room, bottled water, duvet, huge in-room desk and chair, total temperature control.
Staff were great
We booked a room for our wedding night. We arrived too early for check in. They stored our luggage and upon return late that night we learned they not only upgraded our room since it was our wedding night but they left wine and chocolates as a treat. Great hotel and staff! Will stay here everytime we return to NYC!
Nothing. It was all so wonderful. A perfect ending to a perfect day!
The staff…incredibly friendly and helpful. Restaurant wait staff, bartender and front desk…all phenomenal. Also the location. Fast breakfasts at the nearby Pret a Manger too!
The room was very tiny and the windows also tiny. Was a tiny, dark hole. Not like the photo. My room overlooked the street…do the garbage collectors come daily??? Bring earplugs if over the street…it's an old building in NYC : )
large comfortable room, nice bar w/ computers & printers available
not so good dining room
Location was excellent being a very short walk to Time Square and it's attractions. All Staff from reception to bar staff were courteous, friendly and very professional.
A couple of constructive comments in while the room was comfortable the pressure of the shower was not that good, also while the hotel was exceptionally clean the cleanliness of the public toilets on floor one on both occasions used seemed neglected for example the waste bins were overflowing with paper hand towels.
Staff Facilities Free refreshments
Couldn't open a window and air con was noisy
Very friendly and helpful stuff. Good location. Adequate room, tiny but nice, nothing too fancy but all I needed was a bed and a shower.a
room had a strange smell at first.
The hotel is nice and clean, and very quiet.
The windows were very small and the rooms were dark.
The location was perfect. The hotel was very clean. They had free coffee and water in the lounge.
The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. I did not get a good nights sleep. The staff did not go out of their way at all. They were rushed and barely had a conversation with me.
For New York City, the room was large. The bed and pillows were terrific. The A/C was quiet and effective. The room was in the back, so the quiet more than made up for the view of the roof next door. (If I'd wanted a view I would have stayed elsewhere.) The bathroom was clean and had decent shelf space, with good water pressure in the walk-in shower. The in-room coffee maker was a Keurig, which made a nice cup of coffee. The TV was quite large, with good sound and picture. I had room svc twice--prices pretty reasonable, food so-so, but hot, prompt and plenty. There was an upholstered chair, and a comfortable task chair at the small bedside desk. The staff was kind and helpful. NOTE: you must go up five or six steps just inside the front door. If you have big luggage, look to your right--there's an elevator to the upper part of the lobby and the front desk. The Wi-Fi worked well and is actually free. There is also a wireless printer in the club room. There are lots of plugs in the room--on the bedside desk and a little pull-down desk under the TV. Unfortunately, the plugs under the TV didn't work in my room, but the ones on the desk were sufficient for me. The hotel is within easy walking distance of most of New York's major theaters, only 2 blocks from Times Sq. The complementary coffee/tea/snacks in the club room were most appreciated.
There was a weird, urine-like smell from the A/C unit when I first turned it on. After about 15 minutes it dissipated, but it was VERY strong. At 6 AM on a Sunday on the PH floor (so-called to avoid the number after 12) hot water is not readily available. It takes a *long* time to get up from the basement. The hair dryer didn't work, and I didn't have time to call for another. Cold, filtered water is available, but it had to go to the 12th floor to get it. Worse, the ice machine is in the basement. The only failure of service involved an inability to get *anyone* to answer the room service line before 5 PM the day I arrived. Also, in the "room guide" the room service menu does not have kitchen hours anywhere on it, so it looks like you can get anything on it at any time. The guide also shows a "lunch/dinner" menu page, when in fact there is a completely separate dinner menu. I hope this gets taken care of soon, since the first person I spoke to in the kitchen was a little snippy about my ignorance. (They did send me up a dinner menu.) All in all, though, these are pretty minor issues in what was overall a most pleasant stay.
Tea and coffee readily available in your room and in a very attractive lounge - all free.
Taking details of your credit card, having paid for your room in case you ran up other items.
Central location (but a little bit too touristy for me. Too many business men around of 50yrs and even older). Very wide spaces and lot o privacy for a single room in the very middle of Manhattan. Ask for a internal and higher floor room. You will have a quite and NO noisy room. Excellent wifi connection 24/7. Nice FREE snacks and hot beverages 24/7 at hotel hall entrance for each custimer. VERY nice staff.
Too much expansive. Just 10 nights for more than 1800$ (From 20th to 30th of August) But it was my choice staying there for ten days, instead of choosing another area. I was alone and I was looking for safe solution 24/7 to enjoy the city at each hour (rather then feel unsafe in another cheaper area thet i dont know that well. For example brooklynn). To be honest everything has been perfect here .... except the very expensive costs.
