Great price and location!

Bathrooms were small, but efficient.

It was in the heart of downtown New York and things were in walking distance and the subway was close by. Everything was easy access for a young woman travelling on her own. Thank You

The location is excellent, the rooms are reasonably comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly.

For the whole time I was there (7 Days) the internet did not work in my room. This is one of the main features offered by this hotel. Also for 2 days there was no hot water

The room though small was well laid out and everything was lovely.

Location! Cleanliness of the room and shower/bathroom. Cheery 'Hi there' from the room staff. They have a computer and printer reserved for printing out airline boarding cards - great for when you are in a hurry.

(Bath)rooms a little small for two, but manageable - but then that's par for the course in such a central location.

We selected the hotel as being well located at an acceptable price for ny. It met these expectations overall. However, we could not stay four nights in the second floor room initially assigned to us as it was like a dungeon with only a narrow overpainted window shaded by adjoining buildings. The staff found us another (smaller) room on a higher level which did not have the kitchen facilities we had booked but had natural light and opening windows for fresh air. Tiny room and bathroom but modern decor and clean. We had to request second pillows and a luggage rack but these were provided immediately. We liked that it had a small fridge. The staff provided us with a complementary breakfast in the hotel's dining room for the trouble. Lovely 'club' sitting area and dining room behind the rather tight reception area. I would recommend the hotel if you could be confident of having a room with natural light.

Location

I liked the close proximity to some of the major sites in ny. You could walk to most places. I also liked being in the heart of midtown without having to hear a lot of the traffic. It was quiet at this location.

Did not care for the guest closet and how you did not have an ironing board/iron in your room. Had to go to hallway to pick-up own towel and necessities. Hallways, rooms and elevators were really small. And hallways were separated by doors. Not easy to walk through hotel on guest levels. Room could have been cleaner...headboard on bed had fingerprints...not detailed cleaning.

Our air conditioner broke 3 times. We had to change rooms. My sister, who was staying in a different room had her air conditioner break twice and she had to change rooms. I would never stay here again.

The guy that came to fix the air conditioner was rude and had parts torn up all over our room. Then it wasn't even fixed right! It made horrible grinding sounds all night long. Our room was almost 80 degrees. We ordered car service and thank God I double confirmed, because they never actually ordered it. Rude. Unhelpful. Indifferent. And there were ants in the bathroom. Don't stay here, you'll regret it.

The hotel was all that I had expected, so I would change nothing

I liked that it was not too far from the middle of the action and yet, I felt it was quiet enough that I slept great. Great value for the money.

Not easy to find for first time traveler without help.
