Great location in the heart of the Financial District, within easy walking distance to the Embarcadaro and Chinatown. Staff was outstanding-- attentive, polite, and intelligent. Rooms are clean, functional, and well- appointed; although they aren't huge, the first floor lounge makes for a very pleasant place to sit and chat with a small group. I would happily stay here again.

Very nice hotel and staff, well located. We loved it! The only problem, if you are travelin with a car, is the pricing of the parking lots nearby (hotel dont have parking). But I recomend, if you wake up early and leave the car in the parking lot next block (Clay St.) you will pay only $ 7,00 for overnight parking (leave the car after 5PM and picking it up before 8 AM next day after 8AM $ 36,00) Week end flat rate $ 7,00 also.

Club Quarters was an excellent place to stay for our trip to San Francisco. The hotel is located in the financial district of the city, an easy walk to the Piers and the shopping district. Our room had a kitchenette which was exactly what was need when travelling with small children who are in constant need of snacks. Also, free laundry and bottled water were added benefits. The hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. I wish the hotel had a pool.

Staff was courteous and responsive, and friendly, very nice people! We stay there about 3 times a year, as it is near our family. It is convenient, affordable and comfortable. It was very cold in sf this week, and the heater was not working well in our room. Staff came to fiddle with it each (of 3) nights. They were efficient, but the heater kept blowing cold, rather than hot air. Sorry, I suppose this is a complaint. But that is what we did not like!

I booked the Club Quarters as we were looking for a 1 bedroom suite with kitchen facilities. When we arrived at the hotel what we were actually presented with was a studio apartment with a tv cabinet used to try and separate the bedroom from the living room. This is not at all what we were lead to believe we would getting as it was described as a 1 bedroom suite which in fact it was not. A suite is defined as an accommodation with more than one room which this did not have, the description provided was very misleading. I went downstairs to advise that we were not happy and in fairness the hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. They gave me keys to a few other rooms to see if there was anything else that fitted our requirements but they were all studio rooms so we ended up booking two separate rooms at an additional cost for the one night as with 3 people we really needed a separate bedroom. The hotel which is only a 3* was quite dated and the rooms were very basic and small. For the remainder of our trip we moved to Parc 55 Wyndrum which is a 4* hotel for the same price we were asked to pay at the Club Quarters. It was much nicer, had better facilities, was much more modern, rooms more comfortable and spacious. I wouldn't recommend Club Quarters for a stay in San Francisco, go to Parc 55 where you can a 4* hotel for the same price. Room was not as described. It was not a one bedroomed suite, it was a studio room!!!

Great location with all the facilities that you need. I especially liked the quiet roof top My room was only one level above the street whcih would have been fine if the windows were better at keeping the sound. Also smoking room when asked for non-smoking

When booking this trip, we were mainly concerned with price and location. On booking.com it says the hotel is .3 miles from Pier 39. Not true...more like a mile. We didn't want to cab it but ended up paying for a cab several times. Also, the rooms were much smaller than the pictures we looked at on the hotels website and the beds were too firm. Our room's toilet lid was broken in half - not sure why they would give us a room that had "issues." Aslo..everything is computerized - no personalization when checking in/out.

Well designed room. Make the easy chair in the room more comfortable. A higher back might help. Also, a foot stool to put your feet up.

It was actually our son and his 2 daughters who stayed at Club Quarters. What we liked best was the location, only one block from our apartment! Our son was pleased with the accomodations. The front desk was extremely helpful, especially Peter. No negatives were mentioned by our son.

“Hotel Tomo is located in the peaceful and lovely Japan Town (only 10 minutes from the center if you take a taxi!) which makes it a perfect place to relax and forget the turmoil of the city center :) You can also go to Filmore Street nearby if you want to find a restaurant. The staff is discrete, friendly and efficient. Beds are huge and confortable. Rooms are very clean. Highly recommended!” Guillaume, Larnaca |
