Like the free coffee/cappucino machine, a rooftop view
Room was spacious, bed was huge & comfy, hotel and room were clean, staff were courteous, helpful and friendly, free wi-fi, tea/coffee snacks available. Safe location for a lone female traveler. Boris bike stand opposite hotel. Overall a great hotel and brilliant stay!!
This place is awesome! Its is literally in the middle of everything.
Separate parking, more $$$$.
Great staff, comfy room, middle of everything.
The hallways/walkways a bit narrow, but not too bad.
The hotel is located at Financial District and within short walking distance to the Pier/the Bay Bridge, China Town, Union Square, BART station... Also has amenities like free coffee/espresso/cappuccino down on the lobby; free distilled water on the 2nd & 8th floor using/reusing provided plastic bottles. Appreciate the fact that i could wash our clothes, having washer/dryer down on the ground floor free of charge. Night time up on the 11th floor balcony, great view of district, the TransAmerica bldg. One more thing, like to thank the maintenance staff who took the time to rescue my daughter's necklace that went down the bathroom sink. Overall, a wonderful stay for me and mr teenage girls. Thank you!
The shower head in my room was partially broken and did not get replaced during my stay, even though I was told by staff that it would be addressed. Although the room and facilities were clean, there were permanent stains on my bedsheets.
Good location near the BART. Coffee machine in lobby and free muffins during the week.
The room was dark. The carpet was worn. The window faced a wall.
The location is good, although we found Union Sq to be better. 24 hours availability of coffee, tea was much appreciated.
The hotel across the road still has not sorted it's people issues and I did not enjoy listening to protesters at 7.00am in the morning
Accommodation is basic but clean and friendly, and convenient
The room was clean and comfortable.staff was friendly.
Nothing i did not like.
Location was perfect. Walking distance to the Bart station & most of downtown spots. Friendly staff and clean, quiet room.
Small rooms No breakfast like bookings . Com said
Comfy bed and pillows
No really bad experiences. I just don't like the idea of having to go all the way to the basement to get ice and eats. I also was disappointed in not having a bath. I am mildly disabled (this was mentioned when I called to confirm my reservation) and a shower with no place to sit is much harder than getting into and out of a bathtub.
I liked that it was located well, near points of interest (Embarcadero--though I was less than awed--and the Ferry Terminal, as well as downtown near my daughter's apt.). All staff was helpful and friendly.
No great view from the room (standard room)
location, value, bed quality, complimentary water bottles, location
Double bed was two singles pushed together. Restaurant was closed for refurbishment, coffee machine in common area was out of order (none of these were show stoppers though).
Comfortable, value for money, location away from Union Square but easy walking distance to the square and to Fisherman's Wharf and China Town. Staff were great and very accommodating. Rooms were standard, clean and comfortable. Free water filter machine available.
They're kicking out the great little pub that's attached! They should keep it.
Tiny Bedrooms, staff should be more pleasant. Bed Unconfortable.
Good Location Good Price
it was nice. good job!
elevators on only 1 side, and parking arrangements...but im willing to work with whats available! I will still stay here at your low rates.
After booking online at a local motel, upon arriving I was Highly Upset at the quality of the hotel costing more. I ReFused to stay a second night so I searched for the same budget and came across your hotel just miles away for 10x`s the upgrade! Thank you for being willing to please customers with quality over quantity, and understanding the $ will come. You have a new customer everytime I visit SF!!! :-)
Very thin walls, could hear my neighbor watching Rocky III.
Terrific value for the price, great location in Financial District in San Francisco - central to many things.
- room is smaller than thought -water isn't powerful enough to me. My hair is long, so it needs stronger water force. -parking is $30-33(30 for us, 33 as seen in other comment). and it is almost a block away.
-nice location in downtown. -modern decoration. neat and clean. -drinking water and bottles in hallway -free coffee near the hall, fun machine. You could be one button away of thinking it works. that's the "load bean" button. -very nice receptionist and machine checking in.
The rooms were a little expensive.
The hotel was very well located, a few blocks from Union Square. They sell tickets for a touristic bus in the front desk, which has a stop just across the street.
Like most hotel this part of the town, expect another 30 dollars or so for parking. Probably not advisable to drive to and out of hotel frequently (ie better to just park the car there and travel without it)
Walking distance to ferry building as well as China town. Room is a bit small but definitely sufficient. There 'is also complimentary water which not every hotel provides
The only negative would be that you can't order mixed drinks to your room.
I love the suites with the private balconies they have everything you need. I also love the room service.
