Superb location at a very reasonable price. Interesting historical art deco building, old but decently maintained. Comfortable rooms. I would definitively stay there again. The hotel infrastructure is quite basic. But in Chicago, with so many places to go, who cares?

Excellent location, interesting building Not enough storage space in the room for a one week stay. Rooms quite small which is less of a problem than the lack of storage space.

The location was perfect. Also the 2 parking options were great and at a reasonable price. The room was small and the breakfast option does not exist, this service is outsourced by the hotel at a not reasonable price.

location location location. Loved having the Kerig in the room. Nothing really. The bathroom sink was very slow draining. I'm sure if the people that stayed in the room before us would of said something, we wouldn't of had the problem.

The location was good for my conference. The cost was less than the conference hotel (Hyatt) and it was only a short walk. Nice to have coffee and snacks. Easy walk to transit to get to Midway. The room was small and odd shaped. Also, it was on the 38th floor so there was lots of noise from the wind blowing around. I had a difficult time sleeping one night due to the wind noise. Also, there was no TV station guide in the room so I had to ask for it.

Front desk person nice. Good price for business with tiny budget for some of my expenses incurred from working extreme overtime. Small beer cost $9 with no warning. Was told dining open until 11pm when I specifically asked about specific night. It closed at 10. Not even chips with a beer. I had been working at my office very late without dinner. Elevators extremely slow. Too long a wait. Card reader in elevator out of alignment.

The room was smaller than I anticipated and there was no restaurant to have breakfast in the hotel. Even though I booked one room at Club Quarters, the staff gave me the room at River hotel with no explanation at all. I confused if I stayed at my reserved room or not.

Convenience of location In order to obtain the microwave & refrigerator I thought I was ordering, I had to upgrade with a typical "bait & switch" that I've encountered before here. I don't think I'll return

Very cheap to stay. Beautiful space and location. Friendly staff. It was very warm in our room. We woke up several times because of how hot it was. Heater was off and ac was unable to be turned on. We called the front desk and they sent a fan up which helped a lot.
