The location is the best thing about this hotel. It is clean and overall a nice hotel
My windows overlooked a construction site. The works started really early in the morning. I was not informed about it by the staff. So I slept very little in the hotel.
great location, helpful staff, lounge with free printing and coffee
long waits for elevators, no in-room info about stuff like ice machine location, wifi wasn't very reliable
Standard was acceptable
I had the feeling I was awarded one of the worst rooms... Wifi was very bad
Great bar/restaurant downstairs. Washer dryer complimentary to guests....(day 7-11 of our trip) Staff was enthusiastically friendly.
*Info not dispersed at check- in Regarding location of ice machine, vending machines, washer/dryer. * No info book in room. *No soap in bathroom on first day & only 1 wash cloth. *2 small elevators caused delays
- Free wi-fi - complimentary water - free printing - The hotel location is PEFECT and the best part of this property. Right in downtown across from Trump Tower and next to all trains. Everything is walking distance! - In room hair dryer worked very well - Front desk service was great
- cleanliness was lacking. Our room side tables and windows sills were dusty and/or downright filthy - the bed spread was worn / not too clean looking - Be ready to lack a few basics in exchange for a couple of odd perks: Bathroom has NO tissues, no bar to place the towels, no iron or boards in room although the guest services did help us track down one. 1 pillow per guest and 1 sheet. - SLOW elevators. Be ready to wait 5-10 minutes during peak weekend times as only 2 elevators service the entire hotel, including service / housekeeping staff. This can be a pain.
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were uniformly helpful.
The halls were in need of freshening. They looked a bit seedy.
The room is optimal size and comfy. Really appreciate the complimentary bottled water, especially for a traveler like me.
The wifi speed fluctuates between poor and good. Great speed at the lobby though...
Central location; club lounge bottled water view over river
room was small.
Location was perfect! Rooms were smallish but clean.
Position in the center of downtown.
waiting for lift 5 mins every time. waiting for baggage 25 mins . we stayed at this hotel 4 days and the soaps and shampoo wasn't replaced either one times.
No ice machine info.
Our room overlooked the river, lovely. Good walking location to the "El" and venues. Club room with coffee and tea was handy.
Great location. Second floor guest lounge was great. View from tower room was spectacular.
Excellent location, walking distance to the river walk, navy pier, the L, and lots of good places to eat and drink
Intermittent wifi signal
Our room was larger due to kitchenette, which made it more comfortable for a week long stay. Gym was convenient but needs 8lb weights for smaller women. Water coolers and snacks were appreciated.
Location was great, friendly staff.
Just Happened to be construction going while we were there and every morning at 6:00 they were making a bunch of noise. I know it's Chicago and not the hotels fault but my god, all the fire trucks, police and ambulance sirens got really really annoying all throughout the night too.
The room was clean and the staff was SUPER attentive. The wi-fi in the rooms is not good, so I called for an ethernet cable and within minutes it arrived at my door. The people at the front desk were chatty and helpful and seemed to really like their jobs. All and all, it was a good stay!
There are only 2 elevators for such a large hotel and they are old and slow. Don't be in a rush because they take a while to get to the lobby especially during busy hours.
locations and the servse
that the room very very small that i had to abgrade it to bigger one
Price per night Wifi a little slow and disconnect
The location was perfect to hit many great places in the city. Great staff and overall facility.
We booked this hotel the day before we checked in. We were just staying in Chicago for two nights so we wanted a hotel with a good location, with easy access to all the tourist attractions. This hotel were perfect and to a relatively low cost. It's located by the river walk, surrounded by amazing skyscrapers, very close to Millenium Park and just a few blocks from the Willis tower. The staff was very kind and helpfull and the room, although very small, was cozy and clean. If I ever go to Chicago again I would stay here.
I wanted a refrigerator or at least an ice bucket, to chill a couple of beers, but there were neither. The second morning at the hotel loud sounds from a construction site nearby woke me up and kept me awake.
Liked the staff very much & location. Room was very small, but comforty
No clean towels every day, not sure bathroom was cleaned the next day(?) no iron or refrig.- otherwise accommandating.
