Location was excellent. Lots to do within a 15 minute walk. Lobby restaraunt had great food, breakfast place right next door so it was very convenient. We had a great view of the river and the Trump building from the 22nd floor. Quick access in and out of the hotel and cabs were easy to get at the front door. Free bottled water dispenser on every floor at the elevators. This hotel was everything we needed for an economical stay in this area.
Room was just a bit small, but had everything we needed. Its a bit noisy in the morning due to the street noise, but that it what you get when you are close to the action.
It was so dusty in our room, there was hair in the bathroom sink, I wiped the shower down before I showered, and there was a used bottle of lotion next to the shampoo and conditioner.
It was quiet and the bed was comfortable for a good nights rest.
The resturant on property, I ordered room service and my food was cold and dry when I received it.
Staff Rooms Views Style Services
Close to everywhere I needed to see...
The room was a bit small and compact.
The cost. The view. The location.
THE WAIT FOR THE ELEVATORS!!!
The entire staff was friendly and energetic. Roman King was awesome and very helpful with any questions we had. The hotel and room was very clean. Standard Queen room not very large but still nice. The hotel is in a perfect location with access to a lot of things in walking distance. My husband and I had a river view. Will definitely be back.
The hotel charged an additional deposit on my credit card for each night. I've never experienced that before.
Location is superb. A block to Michigan and the Magnificient Mile, and a block to State St toward the Loop or toward River North. Boat cruises are across the street. Right on the river. You can walk to almost everything, and public transportation is right by if you need it or are going farther. The area is safe, beautiful and teeming with restaurants. Parking had the usual big city challenges, but honestly, the recommended garage was one block away and the $24 for 24 hrs. was reasonable for Chicago. Their directions for finding it were spot on. The bar-restaurant is small but cute.
Took a while to get an elevator. The bed was only a double bed, but we gladly spent the night there to get a better deal. Be warned the room is quite small, but our room was reasonably quiet and it was fine for 1-2 nights.
Subsidized parking nearby--$24 for 24 hrs. Excellent location in downtown Chicago. Though quite small, the room was modern and clean.
They weren't kidding when they called it a "small double" room, including the bathroom.
Staff; modern decor; river view; location.
Luckily we were there when use HVAC system was not required because fan was exceedingly noisy and air flow was excessive.
We loved the location. Walking distance to everything you could ever want to do. The hotel was lovely, clean and very quiet!
The only complaint we had was the restaurant off of the lobby...terrible service!!
nice and helpful staffs I like the concept of common living room with free coffee and meeting room walking distance to most of attractive place free purified water
wifi in the room not stable and slow at level 19
The location was great and centrally located to a lot of attractions and businesses. The cost of the hotel was descent for the area of Chicago that its in.
The setup for conferences (Dearborn room specifically) is not ideal. All the bathrooms are one person bathrooms which for 50 people is not ideal. It never had toilet paper or paper towels and was quite dirty. The room was in disseray, half the materials didn't show up until the conference was half way over due to hotel not coordinating well enough. Would not recommend for hosting conferences
Location to Chicago Jazz Festival Comfortable, secure, friendly staff Good value Everything we needed
we first had a room that was tiny and right next to the elevator(bad for sleeping). but then we asked for a different room since we needed a fridge and we got it and it was really nice. nice place, perfect located.
breakfast from the restaurant is quite expensive and the same price as for non hotel guests.
The location is the best, the hotel is in the middle of everything ando you can walk to the most points of interest. Also is close to the blue train that takes you directly to O'Hare airport. The personal was very kind with us. I have no doubt in recommending this hotel. Definetly I would go again to this hotel
staff are friendly and efficient , hotel is clean with good location . Special thanks to Roman king he made us welcomed and upgraded our room which encouraged us to extend our stay . Also the guys at the front desk ,Jay & Deshawa they serve you with a smile and care . I certainly recommend this hotel .
I wish they had a small safe depost box in the room
Absolutely great location! Great window view. The hotel has many facilitys and options amd thats great !
The elevators broke twice in three days. It took a long time before you were in the lobby or in your room.
Location; staff; fresh water bottles; coffee
a bit of a squeeze getting around the bed - not a large room but at the price I'm not complaining
In the best location. Right by the train from the airport. Good facilities and very clean
Location was great. The place looked nice.
There wasn't anything to do at the hotel. I couldn't bring my kids and know they would enjoy it.
Nice staff clean rooms
small room but we just slept there so it was fine
Location Value for Money
We got a great deal on price, but the small rooms do not have a river view. The free internet, coffees and water are great! 'Bakery on the Corner' - really good breakfast - good value and opens at 6.00 am :-)
The key card for the lift didn't always work - apart from that everythign was great.
Very convenient location Nice view to the river Reliable wifi Comfortable
No character No breakfast
