The price was the determining factor for me. Then the location was an added plus. We were visiting my daughter at Camp Geiger, and this was by far the closest we could have gotten. It is not a new motel, but it is a clean one. Our bathroom had clearly been remodeled recently and was pristine. The bedspread and curtains were newer, and the sheets were spotless. The carpet was older and showed wear, but it was clean. The fridge worked. The A/C worked. The TV reception was good. The WiFi was flawless. Then gentleman at the desk was friendly and helpful. I paid for a cheap motel and got a very decent one. We were completely satisfied.
Location to Camp Geiger Wi-Fi
No coffee pot
Room was very clean and couldnt ask for anything better for the price. Will stay there again when i need to be in Jacksonville.
Didnt like the showerhead. Other than that the place was great
Friendly staff, convenient location, comfortable
I was pleasantly surprised by how clean our unit was. The bathroom actually looked recently renovated. Ours was several doors down from the drink machine. The owners(I believe the indian man and woman where the owners) were very friendly and when I had trouble with the drink machine, he gave me two free. Unlike others, I didn't see any bugs in our unit.
The bed wasn't very comfortable and sharing it with another person kept me up part of the night. Make sure to keep the a/c blowing! These tiny rooms get hot quickly.
The room was perfect for our needs. The owners were polite and friendly.
There was an odd odor if the A/C was not left on.
Nothing was good
These are non smoking rooms, I knew that before I was smoking in front of my car and the staff tried to get an attitude. They dont clean the tables or nite stands, they don't clean the bath tub.
A clean motel for a good price. The mini fridge with freezer compartment was very useful for a mom traveling with frozen breastmilk. It was very clean though.
The furniture could be updated. Specifically the nightstand, dresser and table. And the water pressure/shower head was lacking
Upon opening the door to my room a cockroach ran across the floor. There was a roach in the bathtub and sink. A roach ran across one bed spread. I pulled back a sheet to find a small crawly insect. The furniture looked like Salvation Army castoffs. I immediately returned to the office to report the filthy conditions (they had posted a 100% sanitation approval) and was met with a rude desk clerk who asked if I had not seen bugs before. He uttered some crude remarks to me and reluctantly gave me a refund, throwing both my credit and receipt at me. I decided not to pursue the situation at the time, but intended a follow-up. Your survey is very timely. I found excellent lodgings at Sunset Inn for just a few dollars more and nearer my planned event. You should remove this motel from your bookings. I would like to use your services in the future, but this is not a good experience of your recommendations.
Location across the street from the MCAS New River; clean basic rooms, good AC, small fridge in rooms.
Tiny towels, bring your own shampoo.
It was convenient, right off the highway. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable
Close to gas station
No breakfast no wifi not enough soap and towels tub was not clean
The bed was very spacious and comfortable! Didn't hear any noise from other guests! Easy to get a room.
The water was confusing when taking a shower! I took a cool shower.. The water was either cold or really hot!
charge for ice; poor looking facility
size,tv,only 3 outlets,no hair dry,microwave,iron
The really big bed was nice and the motel location was ideal due to its close proximity to a grocery store and gas station.
The televisions are a little dated that when you are use to HD, it's really noticeable when you don't have it.
It was cheap and it was convenient. I found it incredibly funny it was located between 2 strip clubs.. Literally...
I was actually pleased until the morning I left. As I was packing up my stuff I noticed the giant cock roach on the floor. That will prevent me from staying here again.
The kindness of the staff. They went out of their way to male sure I was comfortable!
That I had to pay for the ICE....
Good simple motel along the coastal highway near Jacksonville, NC.
I like the location close to the airport and the room was good . Value for money.
Carpet had stains , looked like dirty. The rooms are located in a very opened wide parking area that can be seen outside when cars passes you hear the cars passing or speeding outside. It would be better if it were a little more closed and that shows a more secure place . I suppose there are cameras to give the guest security if any incident occurs.
I loved the option of wifi and how close the place is to an all night food mart (Circle K) and even a big food store. House keeping on key with coming around.
We were looking for something and picking up our things and noticed how dusty under the frig was and I even saw a spider about the size of a dime. Luckily it was dead but having that there had a concerned because I found 2 others, smaller but living.
A little run down but for the money it was comfortable
Reasonably priced, conveniently located. Fairly quiet. Free wi-fi though unsecured. Fridge in the room but adding a small microwave would've been perfect.
Didn't replenish the cups after they came to clean the room. Bath towels are the size of hand towels. You have to pay for ice. Didn't make the bed, not replacing the sheets is okay but they could've made the bed.
Motel offered almost no accommodations room was very small air conditioning did not work properly TV had limited channels remote for tv did not work I would have rather spent the extra $10 per night and stayed at a better place.
The staff we encountered were all very nice.
The bed was way too hard, there were dead roaches in the room, and you could hear every car coming from a mile away on the interstate. Impossible to sleep.
