Staff was warm and friendly. Didn't annoy anyone and let us just relax.

Shower was a little close for my wide body.

Great location, loved the exterior and the decor outside. Need was comfortable. Quite and secluded.

No pool, no bathtub only shower. Woman owner extremely rude. Charged us extra for a 3 year old. I have her and a 22 month old, I've never included either of them when I book rooms. Definitely not worth what we paid. Rooms have mold, peeling paint, if you turn your ac down they leave you a note and turn it back up.

After reading the reviews I was very skeptical, but after getting there we were pleased! The beach is right across the street & the motel is right on the marina. The setting was very comfortable, the grill was brand new & the sitting areas were comfortable & relaxing. Our room was actually a lil studio with living room area with HD TV, dining area & mini kitchenette with plates, cups & utensils. The bed was comfortable & though we were by the road did not mind the sound of the traffic as it was not too loud. They have a nice dock out back for fishing with fishing rods & kayaks. Great for the price.

The floor was a bit dirty & the shower only fits 1 person. The owner was not rude, but for her business could be a lil more customer friendly. Checkout was at 11 & at 11 on the dot a lady knocked & just opened the door. The grill utensils were rusted & not usable. Not really much parking.

The location of the Dolphin Inn on the narrowest part of Cocoa Island makes this place worth going to. The property backs on to the inland waterway and has its own pier. They even provide kayaks for guests. You can chill out on the garden chairs on the decking or go for a swim (alligators permitting!). Cross the main road at the front, down a short boardwalk and you are on the Atlantic Coast with all the fun of the waves and miles and miles of sandy beaches. This place makes a great stopover en route between Jax and Miami and is ideally placed for a relaxing day or two before boarding a cruise at nearby Port Canaveral.

The premises and fixtures are quite old and the whole place is in need of a makeover but everything was adequate for our needs.

    Location, comfortable bed.

Dark, dingy efficiency room. Filthy floors. Dirty utensils in kitchen. Tiny, tiny bathroom with moldy corners, badly repaired tile molding, one sliver of soap to last us 3 nights. Blinds over LR window with 4 broken slats, one scotch taped to the wall, peeling paint. Most annoying was the condition of some decorative vases along the pathway, where 3 were broken and the shards of porcelin were laying there within reach of anyone who wanted to pick them up and cut themselves. In dire need of painting, and lots of repair!!!!

    Nothing

Everything, This was the worst place I have ever stayed. Old, dirty, no cups in bathroom, limit amount of towels, shower very very small, housekeeping very limited. Blinds did not close very good. Lady told us to turn off air condition when we went out as she had to pay the electric bill. Floor had a raised part from the room into the bathroom and at 2:00 a. m. as I went to the bathroom I tripped over this and fell and bused my arm real bad and cut a gash in it. We left the next day but no one was around to talk to. We did take pics. I will talk to an attorney about this. I have lived better in the woods camping and also same as a former Marine lived better in the jungle. Stay there if you like but don't say I didn't tell it like it is.

Everything was good. I like the area and the place but the door needs an upgrade and the bathroom. I believe if they upgrade that will be a great place to stay. Thank you.

    receipt the hospitality

The owner lady, is very rude and does not know how to talk to customers. Overall is a great place, great location and price.. It will be amazing if they were more hospitality management oriented and hired employees to do the management and the house keeping The office is a mess and they smoke inside of it (disgusting). But yeah the lady should hire someone so she won't have to do everything herself and then be rude to customers because she is sick and tired.

We liked the beautiful garden and the animals. The place is quiet ( unless your room is close to the road like ours was). With relaxed atmosphere.

We didn't like the roaches in our room. Also nobody mentions the huge pipe that runs in the middle of the beach. The beach is nice and not crowded but the pipe ruins it. We had to drive a few miles to the pipe less spot instead using our walking distance beach.

Beautiful sunset The owners tried hard to make the best of a not-so-good situation. There were only the 3 people taking charge of 15 units. Bed was clean and comfortable.

No ocean side beach to speak of. Bathrooms were too small (only shower and toilet). Sink located in outer room behind bathroom door with no space to set things on. Overhead fan light and bathroom light burned out within the 1st 2 days. Kitchenette had no toaster. Skillets were not properly kept clean. Closet was dirty and rusty Squeeky faucets...sink had hot/cold reversed. No overhead light over the kitchen sink. Amenities were NOT what you would expect for the money.
