We enjoyed the peace fullness of the place....I realy think it's great that these people r willing to share thier Lil peace of paradise with others . I just wish people could slow down and enjoy what they offer.....sun sets that make ur heart feel filled with peace....
That people can't see that the owners r working hard to bring thier hotel up to date ,but keeping it old key west style florida
1)Great view and location. 2)Cheaper than other place in same location
1) very small shower room. 2) air-condition unit near the bed over your head. It is very noise. 3) sheet is not 100% cotton, feel very muggy. 4) There are some hidden policies posted behind doors, you know it after you move it. Be careful about it.
location, view, comfort of bed.
all of the kitchen facilities were basically non working. Stove didn't work either did toaster and coffee maker was falling apart. Bath was to small.
Room smelled strange, toilet ran at times. A tiny roach was in the microwave.
Free kayaks close to beach
Moldy smell roaches shower too small out dated
it is just so relaxing ….you can enjoy the River that is right out side your door….cross the street you have the Ocean…would I go there again Yes
out of 3 days had wifi 1 day….to make calls had to leave room…..no signal
Not enough kitchen utensils
Clean rooms beautiful location
Old dirty poor A/C
The place is a great couples Getaway. On the river and across the street from the beach. It is close to shopping and dining. Has a min frig sink and microwave. Very peaceful and quiet at night
Stated it was pet friendly but that is not the case. You must call in advance as they only have one room that allows animals. No very kid friendly I could tell the owners weren't thrilled about us having our 11 & 12 year old with us. Only two bath towels in the room.
Staff was warm and friendly. Didn't annoy anyone and let us just relax.
Shower was a little close for my wide body.
Location Clean fluffy towels Walking distance to water Unusual landscaping
Wifi not consistent Room a bit shabby
This was a great find!! Very affordable. Cute, magical, free kayaking on river, koi pond, BBQ area, lit up fountains, 30 ft from beach and right on the intercostal. Courtyard reminded me of the midnight in garden of good and evil one and free shuttle to and from Coconuts Bar!!!
Cats and scenery.
iPad did not connect to wifi.
Cleanliness and friendly owner. Very comfortable bed.
Would have liked it updated but enjoyed it anyway.
Great location, loved the exterior and the decor outside. Need was comfortable. Quite and secluded.
No pool, no bathtub only shower. Woman owner extremely rude. Charged us extra for a 3 year old. I have her and a 22 month old, I've never included either of them when I book rooms. Definitely not worth what we paid. Rooms have mold, peeling paint, if you turn your ac down they leave you a note and turn it back up.
We had a nice relaxing week-end for my husbands birthday. We will stay again.
After reading the reviews I was very skeptical, but after getting there we were pleased! The beach is right across the street & the motel is right on the marina. The setting was very comfortable, the grill was brand new & the sitting areas were comfortable & relaxing. Our room was actually a lil studio with living room area with HD TV, dining area & mini kitchenette with plates, cups & utensils. The bed was comfortable & though we were by the road did not mind the sound of the traffic as it was not too loud. They have a nice dock out back for fishing with fishing rods & kayaks. Great for the price.
The floor was a bit dirty & the shower only fits 1 person. The owner was not rude, but for her business could be a lil more customer friendly. Checkout was at 11 & at 11 on the dot a lady knocked & just opened the door. The grill utensils were rusted & not usable. Not really much parking.
The location of the Dolphin Inn on the narrowest part of Cocoa Island makes this place worth going to. The property backs on to the inland waterway and has its own pier. They even provide kayaks for guests. You can chill out on the garden chairs on the decking or go for a swim (alligators permitting!). Cross the main road at the front, down a short boardwalk and you are on the Atlantic Coast with all the fun of the waves and miles and miles of sandy beaches. This place makes a great stopover en route between Jax and Miami and is ideally placed for a relaxing day or two before boarding a cruise at nearby Port Canaveral.
The premises and fixtures are quite old and the whole place is in need of a makeover but everything was adequate for our needs.
It had river and beach access. We kayaked and fished everyday from the inn's pier.
Location and View were great.
The stove top didn't work. The Wifi Didn't work.
Location, comfortable bed.
Dark, dingy efficiency room. Filthy floors. Dirty utensils in kitchen. Tiny, tiny bathroom with moldy corners, badly repaired tile molding, one sliver of soap to last us 3 nights. Blinds over LR window with 4 broken slats, one scotch taped to the wall, peeling paint. Most annoying was the condition of some decorative vases along the pathway, where 3 were broken and the shards of porcelin were laying there within reach of anyone who wanted to pick them up and cut themselves. In dire need of painting, and lots of repair!!!!
That it was in Florida
It was older than I'm use to.
