Coconut Malorie Resort    

The room was just right for my girls and I. The staff was excellent.

It rained and we could not use the pool or hot tub.

The view of the bay was excellent.

The balcony did not have chairs.

Love the location and spacious rooms

Pillows were lumpy and hard and bed was way too firm. Did not sleep well.

Staff, excellent, !!!!! Have stayed there before, enjoyed !! The staff & contractor tried to do their best to accomodate us while renovations were in progress Will come back in the off season again.

The weather, which cannot be controlled Late night noise from the Fager's crowd leaving late at night & parking on the street adjacent to the hotel !

I liked the design of the suite, plus that fact that it was in walking distance to a nite club. And it sat back off of the main road. Perfect experience.

Location wrt entertainment

Floors were sticky and there was no hot water either day. We were simply told "that's normal, this is an old building".

Great location, amazingly friendly, wonderful rooms, everything was great start to finish.

I like the way the rooms are laid out. You have a kitchen that enables you to cook if you like. My room had a king size bed and a flat screen tv. I stay there a lot! EXCELLENT!

Melody Bell and her staff were always warm and welcoming. We got married in the beautiful lobby and were treated as if we were celebrities. Our special day was a huge success due to the staff.

The room definitely needs some redecorating and fixing up. We only spent one night and would not go back in the future.

The location

We had problems with the heat. It was eigher too hot or too cold. We also had very low water pressure. However, I woill give the hotel a bread due the the storm "Sandy" that hit Ocean city earlier in the week.

We enjoyed just about everything, friendly staff, great location, and best value for your buck!!! Next time we plan to head to oc again, I will b booking with this resort. Oh, and the coffee wasn't to bad, well, I did bring my own creamer. Good thing too, bc if you're lactose intolerant you won't be enjoying any coffee, all they have is half n half.

The floor wasn't very clean, around our dining table the floor was like it was greasey, I almost slipped and fell which I already have major back issues. That is a big no no with me. Also there was a black hair strand around the faucet in the bathroom. And a longer one in the living room on the floor. I have medium length red hair. So I know its definitely not mine. Glad I brought Lysol spray, Clorox wipes, and Tilex spray. But I shouldn't have to clean my own room.

Proximity to beach and local activities (dining and boardwalk).

Economical, clean, friendly staff

The room they put us in smelled strongly of bleach. They did not offer to move us. Later we found out the room had recently had a mold problem, hence the bleach smell. Knowing this, they should have put us in a different room until that rooms mold/bleach problem was resolved.

Very nice swimming pool with plenty of tables, chairs, loungers, etc. plus view of bay. Coffee service provided in the lobby in the morning. Very good & responsive maid service & staff. Convenient Ocean City location - one two blocks to the beach, one block to Fager's Island, great sunset views in the evening. Workout room in "The Tower" affords beautiful 360 degree views - makes exercising much more pleasant.

Basically the entire resort is in very serious need of a middle age makeover - everything is ever so slightly shabby & dingy. Made us anxious as we checked in. Please get new carpeting, paint, lighting updates, minor repairs, etc. Incredibly, profoundly slow elevators. I used the stairs as much as possible but our visit coincided with work being done in the stairwells so not always able to do that.

The staff was extremely friendly... Great location in town, near all of our favorites... Food , night life, coffee, tcby... We were there for bike week and had a blast, no more traffic than in the summer... Great weather , sunny and mid-high 70's all week, hated to leave...will go back in the spring, can't beat the $$$$ go to booking.com.....

The whole staff is too nice and helpful... Too much sunshine... The view was lousy and the pool water was too wet. Can't wait to go back... Lol!!!!!

quietness of the room, and the hotel staff were very friendly.

Internate acess was terible in the rooms only could get it in the lobby, decore was outdated but otherwise liked the resort.

room could be alittle cleaner, no a/c in billiard room or gym

we loved the view, the place the accomations,pool/hottub, etc.

kids getting into and out of the hottub, when the rules clearly state no children in the hottub.

My family and I were completely shocked by the facility in relation to the reasonable price. It is beautiful.,clean and luxurious, The view from our room was both breath taking and relaxing. The staff were easy going yet professional. We are already planning for a longer stay there for next season.

Great location and great price. However rooms could have being cleaner. Floors had a slippery film on them even after housekeeper was informed it was still on the floor.

Close to Fagers Island,Close to Beach

Late Check in at 4PM was ridiculous, Bathroom Fan and Shower Light did not work. DVD Player Remote looked like someones dog ate it so the DVD player did not work. The water pressure on the fifth floor was inadequate and we hardly had hot water. The outdoor bar and grill at the pool was horribly run down. Do not stay in Room 510 or 511. Those rooms are in a corridor off the elevators and the voices late at night from people getting off the elevator would boom into that corridor and our room.
