honestly loved everything about our stay....great food.....live band was amazing....slot machines are very cool....room was very nice and spotless....front desk was very helpful and pleasant.
not a big fan of virtual 21, but would get used to it.
Of course, the buffet was wonderful. The decor is always inviting.
People were smoking on the 4th floor and it made the rooms and hallway smell
The bath tub
Wonderful staff and great food. Lots of different machines to enjoy.
There was smoking on the fourth floor and our room smelled of smoke when we checked in. I have COPD, so didn't get any sleep because of the smoke.
Liked the architecture and colors of the lodge.
When we got there talking to other people we got a great price on this room with booking.com. $80 for a king room. The room was maybe a little dated but it was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed it and will be returning!
Bed was fine but not as comfy as kootnai inn or northern quest ;)
Quiet and comfortable room in the spa tower. Modern amenities and lots to do for entertainment.
Food, although available in many places was disappointing. We tried all of the restaurants and were met with the same level of mediocrity in their renditions of things.
Friendly staff and nice rooms!!! Had a great time.
Lots of smoking everywhere!
Beautiful room, loved having the Kehrig coffee maker. Very nicely decorated, and spacious.
The Bed was really soft and a little lumpy. I would have liked softer pillows. I didn't bring my hair dryer because I was sure there would be one.
I liked that the hotel was reasonably priced and close enough to Coeur d'Alene.
We requested a non smoking room and they told us that's what we got. However, the smell of smoke was apparent through casino, the hall ways and our "non-smoking room." We were there for The King of the Cage and with that type of event comes with a lot of drunk people. Although we expected this, we were woken up at 2:30am and then again at 4:30 am by our neighbors who refused to go to sleep. We contacted the front desk twice and they sent up security to ask them to be quiet. Each time the security guard came up, they only knocked, stated that they received a noise complaint and then left without so much as another word. Believe me on this, I could hear every word of every conversation that happened in that room. Seriously, I heard all about one poor guys tragic love life. Truly emotional stuff. I've worked in hospitality before and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had.
Was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The Red Tail Bar and Grill had the best food. The Casino was much larger than I thought it would be. I am not a gambler but did spend a few dollars on the penny machines and had some fun there.I did spend half a day shopping in Couer d' Alene as it is within close driving range. I would stay here again!
Spa was very nice. Beds super comfortable
All staff members were helpful and so friendly. The service in all areas was excellent.
Many slot machines were filthy. They were not being cleaned on a regular basis - this was casino wide, not just one area. A facility as nice as this one has no excuse for this.
very comfy and great atmosphere, not smoke filled like most casinos.
Casino was fun
The elevator noise was scary.
Stayed in a spa room. Room was clean and ready when we arrived.
Fun band and nice bars Great bed and super nice rooms
Thought bathroom needed to be 10times cleaner than it was, water spots all over shower doors and sink looked pretty dirty also
The large no smoking casino area.
Buffet was expensive & not very good. There was no refrigerator or microwave in room. There was a safe in the room with no operating instructions.
The staff was very friendly, the room was spotless, & the atmosphere was wonderful.
Despite the fact we went away for the weekend, it would've been nice to use our cell phones to call home. The cell service is spotty at best.
Everyone was so friendly and attentive, and they were so helpful in finding a fan for my mom to sleep with, extra robes for the room, and an extra blanket. Our valet did a little dance for us, the restaurants all had very nice staff, and the spa was such a nice indulgence, it was an awesome time. Wish we could've stayed longer!
I realize there is nothing that can be done, but my only complaint would be that after our day at the spa and our lunch from the Sweetgrass Cafe, we wanted to try out their dinner, not realizing until we had found it's location that it was in the smoking portion of things. The smell wasn't too heavy while we were there, and the food was delicious, but would've been perfect had it been in a different section. (And the staff there were super nice, also)
We could feel the springs in the bed. It was extremely uncomfortable. Couldn't get a comfortable heat level in the room. All the noises from the hallway we could hear (walking, closing of doors, talking, elevator). No microwave or fridge available in the room.
Buffet was excellent .
the room had only 2 towels, two washcloths and 2 coffee cups. Not set up for double queen 3 people.
casino was kept clean and nice staff
rooms were worst I ever stayed in and not serving drinks on the casino floor huge inconvenience to those gambling....halls smelled of sewage back up
nice, clean, variety of restaurant
didn't tidy the room enough (we stay there for 3 nights) need more fun place for teenager who don't gamble, like arcade or video game
