Room was very clean. Newly tiled bathroom. Very quiet. Office staff was friendly and was accommodating when I asked for an iron, ironing board and hair dryer.
Curtains didn't slide on rod; there was NO closet to hang clothes; there was no conditioner or lotion; the little shampoo container was half empty(!). It seemed a little pricey ($98 total) for what it was.
Nice and clean Good service
Very noisy at night... difficult sleeping due to noise. No fans or air conditioning. Room temperature in the high 80's.
Value Location Wi-Fi Staff
Noise of other visitors
Friendly and hard working staff. Liked the use of communal frig for my fish
Checking in it felt like we were friend! The woman who runs the motel is very nice and helpful. We will come back next year.
I little noisy across the street but nothing a low TV didn't drowned out.
The staff was great, called after we left because we forgot something that would have been greatly missed had I not gotton it back. Thanks again.
Staff was cordial if not exactly friendly. Room was impeccably clean. Bathroom had been remodeled recently. Nice that room had a refrigerator and microwave, although without knowing ahead of time, we couldn't take advantage of it by bringing breakfast items (booking system needs to be updated to show this). Lastly, they had availability on fairly short notice during the Labor Day holiday weekend.
Location is poor (Ilwaco has clearly seen better days). Bar across the street is, as others have noted, unbelievably loud late at night. Room was cramped, especially with a queen and twin bed in it. Thin walls does not even begin to describe the experience -- could hear people in other rooms snoring. If you are a light sleeper, do not consider this hotel. Also, extra person charge at check-in for 3 person room is misleading (this could be a problem with the booking system not making the actual rate clear rather than with the hotel itself).
Everything was very clean. The bed, sheets, pillow, bathroom...roon in general
Rooms were very clean and updated
Not close to the ocean as I had thought, couldn't see the ocean, but it was within a couple blocks of the room
Very clean, central to all we wanted to visit
Good basic hotel within walking distance to Port of Ilwaco. Ample parking. BBQ grill and chairs in parking lot.
Cleaning solution smell
The bar across the street was terrible. People outside yelling until 3am was a bit much. The Sea Hag is an appropriate title as it appeared they were all in attendance.
When we arrived at office we paid more because we were 4people But we aleady reserved about we are 4peole It's so upsetable
room was clean
linens were old , shower in bathroom could not be turned on with out soaking floor . poorly designed, terrible neighborhood right next to fuel depot for fishing fleet
This was a convenient stop on our journey to enjoy the northern Oregon coast. My husband joked that it was a little like staying in a storybook inn. Everything was clean and tidy, but you could hear your fellow travelers bedding down for the night and not all of them went to bed early. The rooms were plain but recently refurbished, very clean and the staff was friendly and very accommodating.
Hearing those fellow travelers as they went to sleep and woke up. I'd bring ear plugs for a more restful sleep!
The clerk who signed us in had dogs barking at all times during the process. I could not hear what she said or respond to her questions.
Very clean and friendly staff
The bar across the street was loud! But that is because they had a event there not by any means the fault of the motel! And she warned us about it when we checked in and put us in a room as far away as possible
Lights in the Hallway shined in the window all night even with the curtains close was to bright
