Very clean, easy access to everything in town but far enough away to remain quiet in evenings. Nice and bright exterior to the property.
The inside of the rooms need to be updated.
i wouldn't call this motel a resort. The offered Breakfast its served in front of the office in an open area and with poor choices. Its like 5 miles away from the lake. Defenetly an 8.0 review is overrated. Its clean and cheap.
THE GROUNDS WERE NICE AND IT WAS CLEAN.
MY FAMILY AND I FELT VERY UNCOMFORTABLE WITH THE FEELING THAT THE MANAGEMENT PROVIDED WHICH WAS A VERY UN HOSPITABLE ENVIRONMENT. I FELT LIKE THEY WERE PAYING ME VERSUS THAT WE WERE PAYING THEM. THE PLACE IS JUST UNFRIENDLY. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK.
very clean and quiet resort, the landscaping and grounds were very pretty very well maintained. The rooms and bathroom were spotless.
Pool closed to early.
the water fountain out front and the color it was painted a cherry yellow
to many rules bath was to small poor open to late and closed to soon cant get ice after 8 that's all locked
2 bedroom unit, but only one bedroom had AC. There was a small, loud through the wall fan to push cool air into the second bedroom and it was not effective. Small window units are inexpensive and there should have been another unit in the second bedroom. Being told you're in the mountains and it gets cool at night doesn't cut it at over $200 a night. WiFi was advertised, but it only worked by the check in office. The pool closes at 6 PM. If you want to go for a swim at the end of a hot day, you're out of luck.
All the equipment no hair dryer no iron no microwave or coffee maker no change of sheets pool open only short time STAY AWAY
Great place to stay with young kids and a very good breakfast and great pools.
Pool hours are a bit short and check was a bit difficult.
This resort exceeded my expectations. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The resort was super clean and quiet. I would highly recommend this to anyone. It was set in a very pretty setting. Lots of room to run and and play.
The only complaint I have is there was not a coffee maker in the room.
Everything about this resort was amazing. The staff is great and friendly, everything is always so clean, and the location was perfect for me and my family. I recommend 100%
Loved the spacious rooms Loved all the staff (even the grumpy old man at the desk - he mad me laugh & I understood his frustration with Technology).
The owner, while checking in, he reminded me of my grandfather : )
Very clean. Nice playground. Feels private and "away from it all." View from the pool and outdoor hot tub. If you go in with your eyes wide open (and pleased) about the hours of the amenities and the strictness and abundance of rules, it is probably a good place for you to stay.
The rules. Hours of the pools, hot tub, laundry, ice maker, breakfast, etc. What probably helps keep the facility clean (i.e., rules) also makes it feel uncomfortable, rigid, and uneasy.
None what so ever
Everything was great. Place was clean, kids loved the pool, close enough to downtown but not smack in the middle, which I liked. All the nonsensical reviews I saw on the travel site were exactly that! The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant.
The complex was very well kept and maintained. I would recommend to some of my best clients.
We liked the playground and the pool (outdoor).
The rooms are horrible. The furniture is cheap and dated, the linen is cheap, the towels are cheap, the toilet paper is the cheapest thing you'll find at the discount store. Our room was not cleaned on the first day. The beds were old, cheap, as was the rest of the furniture, and uncomfortable. The air conditioning did not work. The breakfast was a joke. No bread... The toasters don't work properly, the selection is the poorest I've ever seen in a hotel. The owners are not involved in the customer care enough. The old man is rude, I felt I was bothering him every time I was asking him a question. The room supplies were scarce, we had to beg for more towels and toilet paper. How embarrassing. The housekeepers are obviously not in the hotel business. The one we had was a young Slovakian studying psychology. Very nice, but not the most competent person to clean a guest room. This hotel could be much nicer if the owners actually cared and had the faintest idea of what a hotel should be. This is nothing but a glorified motel that charges $200+ per night. Overall very disappointed. We will not return.
We felt very relaxed whether sitting on the deck reading or grilling or swimming! Maids were exceptional room was spotless after she got finished.
It was very clean. It was at a convenient spot, near to the village and to the shopping. It was a beautiful place.
The pool open too late and close too early. There were no iron or ironing board The Colonel and his family who ran the resort were not available at the front desk. No one to answer the phone if you had a problem. It had no snack machine
It's a nice place to relax. The place closes down early and is quiet They have some rules but overall a pleasant stay Breakfast cart with cereal and pastries included Would come again
Great staff....would definitely return.
Very clean, bed where comfortable and very close to everything we were interested in. Thanks for having a nice place. Will come back for sure.
The hotel was very well care for, clean and comfortable. Our room was one of the smaller rooms but the other rooms and suite looked very nice and well proportioned
The "Breakfast Wagon" was far from an appetizing continetal breakfast. We had to go out to get any reasonable breakfast.
Pristine, clean, great facilities. Very friendly staff Stunning location Beautiful Pool
Kids would've like pool hrs to be extended a bit We would've liked a kettle. That's the only negatives though!
The location was amazingly convenient& having the option of the trolley service at the doorstep was a blessing. Everything was close by including the outlet malls, The Magic Forest, & Beach. The hotel offered a great playground for our Granddaughter, barbecue facilities,& clean comfortable beds.
We had trouble accessing the wifi services which was a little annoying as we were unable to communicate with family back home. Also, we assumed the 2 bedroom suites offered a sitting area which would have been nice. A coffee maker would have been nice in the room as well.
