Location was wonderful and the cottages were storybook like. I loved all the attention to details and the view of the sea!
One bedroom had a bed that wasn't level. It felt like you were on a life raft out to sea. Thankful it was just us and we slept in another bed.
good "home base" excellent restaurants near by, nice view of bay from porch-lots of shore birds to watch on pebble beach that was about 100 ft from cottage
cottage wasn't quite level
No breakfast - continental or otherwise
View and cleanliness
Needs small refrig.
Location- right on route 1; not a luxury spot but cozy and great for an inexpensive stay. Little kitchen.
Could be cleaner
Cleanliness and balcony
I liked everything
The floors buckled, but the cabin was adorable and clean, most importantly, the bed was wonderful, nothing worse than a uncomfortable bed! Woke up to a lovely view and coffee on the porch. Would stay again.
Beautifully landscaped grounds. Great view of Penobscot Bay. Staff was friendly and attentive. Good central location base to explore other areas. Close to downtown Belfast.
Floors need to be updated. Bathroom floor in motel room 4 is spongey. Woodwork needs sprucing up. Ceiling panels show previous leak stains and damage.
Very friendly staff. Clean room. Very quaint. Bonfires at night so you can meet other travelers. Had a wonderful time!
Close to downtown Belfast. Easy access to the water. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great for privacy. Value for the money is superior!
Poor TV reception/selection. Iffy WiFi. Would have been nice to have a shaded porch, not all cottages are shielded from the sun. Slanting floors are weird, takes some getting use to.
Quaint and nostalgic seaside decor; bead-board, white porcelain and a wonderful deck with a view. Large TV didn't hurt and the bed was king size and comfortable.
not a thing...
As advertised, the room had an ocean view from a private terrace. Bathroom was sparkling clean, bed was very comfortable. Staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Lovely flower garden in front. Not particularly fancy but an excellent value.
The facility is on the old side (one-story motel building and individual tourist cabins). We were in the motel section which was a little tired-looking, with some deferred maintenance.
room had a lot of character and the deck off the back, overlooking the water, was unique and great for a morning coffee. staff at the front office was incredibly friendly. would definitely recommend.
Location very private
Bedroom was a little small
The women and all the staff we encountered were great. We had a couple of issues with the cabin and they were fixed right away. They upgraded us to a cabin with a kitchen (I think because we were there 4 nights). The kitchenette was nice The grounds are lovely and it would be a good place for families as well.
The bed was too soft and not comfortable. I would have preferred automatic housekeeping instead of having to ask for it. There were so many bright lights around the property we had to tightly close all our curtains plus our cabin's bathroom looked right at our neighbor's porch and drive. Privacy was tough!
The women at reception and the location near the charming town of Belfast with a great coop, shops and restaurants are definite positives. We were also able to make a day trip to Acadia National Park from here which was great.
Our cottage was a bit further from the beach than we expected and the floor slanted a bit but added to the character of the place.
TV View décor Flowers
Had rooms in front near rte 1 occasionally heard trucks but did not disturb sleep
Very friendly and clean. Love the view. So sweet.
Location was great Very comfortable Fully equipped kitchen Front porch with ocean view All around excellent stay I plan to stay again
Super nice older ladies at check in. Can buy s'mores supplies at front desk for fun at the fire by the beach. Cute older rooms. I would stay here again no questions asked
Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The motel was so quaint and had a home town / "old school" feel.
Our particular room seemed quite outdated, with old wood panel and a mixed bag of colors. Although it added to that home town / "old school" feel, the main quarters could stand to be freshened up at bit.
the room was nice with a good overview of the hill down to the water. our kids enjoyed playing at the water when the tide was low. they build small dams with the available woods and stones, what a joy. in the evening the fireplace at the waterfront was frequented by multiple guests.
A Clean bathroom...that was the big plus here!
Non functioning windows...and bad mattress! The place had maintenance issues. Outlet box was hanging out of the wall!
i loved it
