Located on the banks of the Mill Pond and just 0.5 miles from Cape Cod, the Hampton Inn & Suites - Cape Cod / West Yarmouth offers heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a fitness center.

Breakfast was lovely; a variety of hot items, English muffins, berry muffins, French toast, quiche - nicely filling.
Room was a bit musty.
Mac is awesome! The Inn is quiet, cozy, clean, comfortable, accessible yet out of the way. Beautiful.
You'll read this, and make booking another stay difficult for me.
Our room was large, pleasant, cozy, comfortable & felt like home.Nice little touches. The house & yard were beautiful also--homey, historical & comfortable. Very nice staff.
The breakfast was boring, high carbohydrate, included no protein & not very nutritious. A very small bowl of fruit was the healthiest part. I expected a better choice of good food for breakfast at such a beautiful place..
The room was clean, wallpapered which gave it a colonial look, shower gels and liquid hand soap instead of bar soap. Nice front porch for sitting. Dining room looked nice, however no dinner guests.
Dining room menu just generic, and @ $26.95, way overpriced. Chose to eat elsewhere.
Location was good for our purpose.
Rundown, strong musty smell throughout, strange experience with the inn keeper.
Mac the in keeper is very attentive and offered interesting history of the Inn. Very interesting conversations about origins of room names and the evolution of how the Inn's structure changed over the years. Breakfasts had something for everyone. A very quaint dining room with fireplace. Spectacular staircase, wide board floors, reading room and indoor pool add up to a unique and interesting experience. We had a very enjoyable stay.
Nice comfortable inn
Heater was out for swimming pool and hot tub
I travel with 2 small dogs and the Inn is very accommodating. I enjoy photography and the Inn is located near beautiful scenic areas/beaches - perfect for me.
Rooms were very dated. First room we were given had a filthy ceiling fan and the sprinkler heads on the ceiling were caked with dust. That was in the converted carriage house portion of the property. The second room was large and seemed OK but the bathroom was horrible. The cheap linoleum flooring from the 70s was peeling back and was held in place with metal strips. The toilet had a cushioned seat (didn't those go out in the 70s?). The wiring looked like it was from the 1800s. All sorts of cords going along the walls. The bathroom fan was falling out of the ceiling. Towels smelled stale. Breakfast included watered-down orange juice, a plate of cold pastries. Definitely not worth the price. Indoor swimming pool area featured a skylight that has been leaking so long it is covered in moss! The outside deck is literally rotting through. This place is in a time warp.
Location Hospitality Helpfulness
Needs updating from a decorative view, such as color-coordination in the rooms.
pet friendly nice outdoor space pleasant staff privacy from management quiet, upscale area historic property sit down breakfast included relaxing free coffee all day -help yourself attitude trusting of guests
navy blue sheets questionable cleanliness of bed, bedding found Dorito chip under the bed Horrible, old uncomfortable mattress would keep me from this property in the future very poor to no 4G, 3G or internet service on the property
I believe I paid more than expected. I also thought I had prepaid for the room through Booking.com, but didn't care to argue with Malcolm, who was a charming host.
It is quaint and simple, Mac is very helpful.
It is old and starting to get rune down. It may be clean but worn carpets don t look clean.
The Incredible hospitality and friendliness with the entire staff. You felt at home from the first moment on. zit was great!!
The best old things have been preserved. Old-fashioned courtesy in an historic building run by an inn-keeper full of local knowledge who loves his vocation (Mac). Friendly staff, led by a smart and charming young woman from Nepal of all places! And the food is good. The house is full of character which has been maintained while installing modern conveniences. The location for touring Cape Cod is excellent, on one of the principal roads but with the least traffic, and for those who stay a few days and like to drink a glass of wine with dinner there is another first-class restaurant within easy walking distance. We came from Europe and, as I write, have now spent almost three weeks in New England. The Old Colonial House was a wonderful introduction to this historic part of North America. James
The proprietor was very knowledgeable of the area, and was very willing to offer suggestions and directions.
The outside lighting was lacking; almost dangerous, and the place was a bit run down. The hours were early, for instance, pool closed at 8 pm, and for the jacuzzi, you needed to let the management know in advance if you wanted to use it. Also, because we booked through Booking.com, we did not get dinner included, which we would have if we booked directly.
The backyard and frontyard are gorgeous. We were able to sit outside and relax often. The location is also pretty good. Less than a minute drive to a bank and ice creamery. There is also a cute convience store and alcohol store less than a walk away. The owner is also great. He was able to give us directions to the best route up the cape. We basically got to see everything we needed to see because of his directions! No gps needed. The breakfast is also delicious. We did not want to leave this place.
Not sure why so many people have written that the place is outdated.... thats the idea! The house is full of history and has a story behind it (mightwant to google). The house is adorable for young couples who have never visited the cape!
Very quaint. We stayed overnight because we attended a wedding down the street. We didn't see much of the area. The Inn was perfect for us. Would recommend it.
This old colonial house is quite a place ! the garden, parking, open areas are quite enormous. The owner, Mac, is very helpful, knows very well the area and is ready to pass all information to the guests. He is constantly in command of the place.
The room was quite on the small side and the whole place could do with some renovation. You get the impression that, apart from the owner, no other staff knows exactly what to do and how to do it, unless instructed by him
