The continental breakfast was the worst we have ever had, ever! Hardly anything on the breakfast bar & coffee cups were the size of baby sippie cups! And there was no refrigerator in the room. And no elevator, either, so you had to lug your Heavy luggage & belongings up the stairs to your room : ( !!!
no coffee pot, refrigerator or hair dryer in the room.
Friendliness of owner and staff. Closeness to town, restaurants, and activities.
Nice, peaceful setting away from heavy traffic, but close enough to be convenient to restaurants and activities. Very accommodating and personable staff. They were very conscientious of our needs. Rooms were very clean however, could use some updating. Breakfast was good. Would be nice to have a few more choices such as a waffle machine and/or fresh fruit etc…. All in all, a very nice experience.
We drove in with a bike on our trailer for a motorcycle rally. The staff kept track of everything while we were out riding, which made it easy to leave our car and trailer behind.
The breakfast had awful choices. Went out to eat breakfast.
Very comfortable, clean hotel for the price and great location.
Staff was very friendly and helpful
My husband didn't like the bed..broken down on left side
The owner greeted us nicely but now know that's his way of reeling you in to his nightmare of a hotel. Looks are deceiving . On the ad on booking.com it looked like a beautiful colonial home but after I paid he takese out of the house to some dingy run down rooms and we had to around to the back part of those rooms which were secluded off in a scary area surrounded by trees.
Toilet ran continuously & we ask for another room & he says here try this one & we went to the one next door and the BR SINK WAS STOPPED UP. Tried to get our money back for the 2nd night but they refused. So we lost our money. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!
the staff was nice. Facilities were nice enough but they were dated. The trees around the property were beautiful.
the breakfast was very basic. the beds were not comfortable and we didn't sleep very well. the rooms look like they had been established in the late eighties early 90s.
comfort quiet and reasonably priced
Need to have internet available. We had to go to the library to print a boarding pass.
A very nice couple runs this hotel, which is in a charming old building. The hotel is not far from the historic downtown.
Mike was very helpful.
Our room, the staff, location.
Noisy neighbors on a conference call at 1145 pm. We could hear the person talking on the other end. Breakfast was just continental. Not handicap accessible.
The staff was so friendly and pleasant. The lobby and rooms were very nice. Would reccommend.
A little noise from the people above us.
Queen size beds and price per room
2 person max per room. Our group had 8 and we wanted 4 people per room since it had 2 queen beds and a pullout couch. Too late to cancel without paying full price. Be sure to read all details when booking.
Sparkling clean and comfortable room. Very peaceful and beautiful. Best place to stay! Be sure and give your cell phone number, because I forgot an item and was notified by the manager before I left town. Very thankful for that.
the woman at the desk was rude
This nicely maintained, small property was just the ticket for my wife and I over the Labor Day weekend. Many places in the area were sold out. The Colonial Inn was clean, comfy and reasonably priced. Easy to get in and out.
Free breakfast consisted of cold cereal, instant oatmeal or a cinnamon roll. This is not what we are accustomed to at most hotels we frequent.
Owners very friendly and homemade rolls wonderful for breakfast.
very reasonable and friendly.
Beautiful rooms. Quiet. Very nice
Room very clean and comfortable.
One way in/out with narrow u turn type access barley wide enough for one way traffic....this is an accident waiting for anyone.
