Hotel was clean, comfy, and close to the metra train, overall would stay again
My only problem was that the staff I encountered were a little unfriendly but other than that I had no problem with the hotel
It is a good quality low cost and clean hotel. The Brookfield train is near to go to Chicago. There are a lot of food shop near the hotel.
Convenient location and close to restaurants.
There is convenience store nearby, pizza, Chinese food , fast food.
No drinking water. Early check out time-11am, An additional hour for check out charge $10 per hour. Poor internet reception.
Located super close to the Metra line and quality dining in Lagrange... wasn't expecting the room to be as nice as it was. Great value.
Cleanliness Friendly Staff Low Price Good Location
Limited Parking Office had strong odor
Needed a hotel near O'Hare that was reasonably priced and clean. It met my needs.
The Colony is close to Loyola, the owners were friendly. Many close food choices. Brand new bathroom and comfortable bed.
The building and carpet are older, but for the money I'm not complaining, just a heads up.
very comfortable bed!
too bad breakfast was not included
Woman in office rolled her eyes when I asked for a bottom floor because I'm handicapped. We stayed 4 nights, the second day our room was not cleaned and no clean towels left.
very nice and convinient motel, clean, neat. We like it.
Air unit too loud.
Good value for location. This was the second time we used Motel, and this room seemed quieter than our first visit. Staff responded quickly when we needed a second key.
Close to Brookfield zoo
Bad area, rundown hotel, no effort to keep up the facilities.
The rooms were pretty clean, and updated.
There was an old used soap bar left in the bathroom. And my door's bolt lock did not work. And also at 10:40am we were packing up after a late night getting in, & staff called my room to say "it's check out time. Check out is at 11:00am.
The price and when you hung out the "do not disturb" sign they left things alone.
Not being able to park in front on my room one night.
I could walk to work after my stay. The staff kept up the place VERY well. There was a wonderful restaurant nearby.
I couldn't stay a whole week!
Location Bed was comfy Hot water microwave and fridge
Room wreaked of smoke causing me to run to the laundromat before getting back on the road. The ppl tried to argue about the price from booking.com I only stayed because I didn't want the charges on my card if I had cancelled! Never again!!!!
too much road traffic noise all night. poor customer service when checking in. bed and pillows to hard. remote to TV did not work. could not find heat when too cool at night.
Liked the location. Could walk to several restaurants.
Traffic was loud until late at night. Could hear TV in next room. Parking could be tight if all rooms were full.
Clean and Comfortable at very reasonable price.
When they learned we were on our honeymoon they upgraded our room no extra charge. They accommodated us easily when we needed something or had a question. The neighborhood was close to Chicago and had many great restaurants in walking distance.
The decor needs to be updated. The shelf in our shower broke while my husband was in the shower and had his soap sitting on the shelf. He told management no problems. We were just concerned that it wasn't attached to the wall correctly.
The location was great. Easy access to everywhere. Great food spots close by.
The staff was not friendly and seemed somewhat rude. Our room did not seem clean. Used/open soaps and lotion. Garbage on the floor. And hair on the shower walls.
Farther from Midway than expected but not a deal breaker and I would stay there again.
The location is a straight shot from downtown chicago on Ogden ave. I bypassed rush hour traffic in half the time I would normally get on the highway.
The lady at the check in office has very poor communication skills. Good luck getting her to smile or resolve any issues. The heater in the room was a total nightmare. It was so loud that it made you feel like you were sleeping at a public laundromat. I read the reviews before I made reservations, but from my own experience it seemed like those reviews were completely inaccurate.
