Old, 1950's Motel
It was available
Ad said there was a gorge view. No view at all and dirty windows. Clerk sloppy and slow
Didn't know where the office was immediately. We went to the bar first.
Jeff was very friendly and accommodating.
Close proximity to the Marine Park and East Wind Drive-in.
Rusty sink drain, handheld shower head with no stand to set it for showering without holding it. No free wi-fi, hard bed, no mini refrigerator, very old and loud air conditioner. Property needs more updating and repairs!
comfortable bed; restaurant near by; easy on & off the freeway.
Door latch was not secure. the TV picture was very "snowy" on all channels. The entertainment center/bureau lacked a door. Check in person seemed distracted.
Easy to find, room was clean.
Exterior was in poor condition. Bathroom was like a RV, shower and toilet in one room. Door looked like it had been smashed in, lock was questionable.
Not much. Awful place.
The bathroom door latch was broken, the air conditioner sounded like a truck engine, the place is poorly appointed. I would never stay there again.
Location, cleanliness , friendly staff and quietness of place. Beds comfortable and room stayed cool on a very hot day
Not for travelers who expect new and updated rooms. Shower funky setup but enjoyed a nice shower. I would stay here again
No regular coffee available in the room, really old furnishings, toilet paper dispensor was broken, and there was a continuous thumping throughout the night.
Room smelled. Very dirty and nasty. Sketchy people lurking around and going through dumpster.
Room had a good size refrigerator and a microwave
location, price, the front desk was really awesome an offered discounts to 2 restaurants, quite
the bathroom small
Really run down place. Definitely not worth the price. Would not stay here again.
Dirty towels, broken fixtures and furniture.
Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Shower/toilet room not a problem if one uses the shower curtain. Great bed with quality linens. Good value, especially compared to Skamania Lodge, Stevenson, WA, where I had my business convo.
Inadequate lighting in room (no desk or lamp for reading in soft chair), Some late night noise from tavern neighbor. Exterior could use some cosmetic repairs.
Very convenient location for sailors planning to sail/race with the Columbia Gorge Racing Association. Good value for money.
Housekeeping service was inconsistent. Air conditioner didn't work in the first room I was assigned, so was moved.
The bedding was fresh and clean, towels were fresh and clean.
No tissues to wipe running nose. The bathroom could have been updated to a higher standard.
The owner is so sweet and nice the Rooms wete clean and comfortable. And a discount at local restaurants for guests. Also we were here during a heart waive and this is the only hotel within 59mi with air. ;)
Proximity to the river, the parks, brew pubs, and the marina
Repair work on the room was incomplete
pollution fumes from nearby
only one chair window looking into anothers window no bedside stands no lights
The location was perfect for my purpose - visiting the waterfalls. The town was quiet, the motel was quiet (except for the occasional train at 3 am as in "My Cousin Vinny" The room was nothing to write home about, except it was comfortable, and that is what matters. This place served my needs well.
The place is falling apart. The doors are problematic, the locks are problematic, The wifi is terrible, the television is from the early 1950s (not the shows, I wouldnt know that because I could barely see an image)
The only thing that made it worth it was the bed. It was comfortable. But the bedding was too heavy with no other option but a sheet.
the outside is not attractive almost scary, thought about canceling the room. The room was old and musty smelling and realized when we left for a while I would not be leaving any of my belongings in the room. Just didn't feel safe. Toilet in the shower.... The picture on our TV was horrible. :(
The beds were hard!!! I slept in my car, the bathrooms need to be updated, why a step??
