Property was nearly spotless. Staff was excellent and very friendly. We did not need much help, but I believe the staff had preemptively addressed most of concerns at check in

I liked that it was a smoking room. I liked that the room was clean and the bedding was washed. Also I liked the many channels on your cable television.

The location was awesome; walking distance to restaurants and bakery. The view was fantastic, wonderful kitchenette, great water pressure and hot water in the shower. The queen bed was comfortable, but we are used to a king sized. The entire space was the perfect size, very nice furnishings and decor. The elevator was very fast to arrive and take you to your floor.

We stayed in the top floor room, it had an incredible view, the cutest little bathroom with a clawfoot cast iron tub. We had a great time. The location was a perfect walk to all the local shops.

We decided to do a touristy weekend, came over form Portland. We found the perfect breakfast spot, very inexpensive and SO good! The Riverwalk Restaurant, the biscuits and gravy are to die for. Our favorite seafood place is South Bay Wild Fish House. We love walking the streets and going into all the groovy little shops. Took the Underground Tour this time which was so fun! Visited the Astoria Column which was so interesting and the scenery from the ground and the top of the column was breathtaking. The climb up the column had me out of breath so caution if you have medical issues or are just plain out of shape like me. My grandson and I went bowling at Lower Columbia Bowl when a beachside fire was out of the question for grandpa lol . Had a blast! We love Astoria!!

Love the antique and unique shops on Commercial in downtown Astoria. Toured the Flavel House, which I definitely recommend. Found a funky sportsbar called the MerryTime which serves giant juicy burgers. Love the sound of the seals and the maritime feel of Astoria.

Astoria is a busy place, lots to do.
Astoria is a busy place, lots to do. We went down to spend time with young grandchildren and took a good friend and his son. Booking.com advertises This motel at $60 a night and it was $175 a night so we could not stay as long as we would have liked. I think misrepresentation like this is a crime and I felt cheated.. The motel blamed the price change on Booking.com.

The hotel location was super.
The hotel location was super. We were within walking distance of a few restaurants. We ate at the Bridgewater Bay Bistro only a couple of minutes walk. The fresh caught halibut was wonderfully tasty. We also ate at a local Mexican restaurant, El Tiapatio, (10-minute walk) from hotel. The restaurant was colorful and food and drinks were great. Many locals were also dining there. The riverwalk is directly in front of the hotel. There is some construction on it, so it was not as accessible as it might have been. The Trolley is running only from 1-4 pm. Museums are a 30-35 minute walk from the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed the Heritage Museum with history of Astoria.
The room we had was in an old Victorian home turned into a “hotel room”. Our Rome was on the south side and so we did not have a view of downtown Astoria or the Columbia River. There was no air conditioning, one window did open so we could get some air. The second night the temp outside stayed warm, so there was no cooling down.
Everything worked and was clean.
We got in kind of late, but Vicky was very inviting, helpful and courteous. You can tell she’s been doing this for a long time! The beds were comfortable the breakfast was great, and I made a great experience for us. We’ve always stayed at other hotel chains, but I think that this was the determining factor to stay in choice motels more often.
Apparently this classic hotel was refurbished in the 2000's and they did a fabulous job with new everything. The beds are comfortable, the showers are good, and the hotel has style. The breakfast is hot and cooked by a person not the made up food you'll get at a chain. It's luxury from the 1930s updated.
This was a very clean and comfortable place to stay for a night in Astoria. There’s off street parking, location is just a block from Commercial Street so easy to walk to town. There’s a shared lounge and kitchen with coffee maker, toaster and air fryer (?) if you have your own food (coffee provided).
The hotel is so creatively beautiful and loved hearing the sea lions below us. The staff was fantastic, and the restaurant/ lounge area had amazing views. The room was clean but was very loud. I was on the first floor facing the boardwalk (opposite of water).
The view of the harbor from our balcony was superb. The size of the room was adequate. The location was close to the heart of Astoria and the other attractions around the area. Traveling to the other nearby towns was easily accessible.
Cool hotel with very good vibe. They let you check out a turntable to bring in your room and play their records. It has a good blend of down to earth scandinavian and hipster. Awesome place and it's close to tons of cool spots.
Beds are comfy, room decor is super cute, quiet and very clean. Easy parking and had everything we needed to explore Astoria and nearby parks and beaches. This small motel has more personality than the big chains.
There are few options in Astoria for hotels and fewer still that allow dogs. This has a nice location maybe 1.5 miles from downtown along a beautiful walkway, Wouldn't change anything.
What's not to like! This is such a cool & quirky hotel and it gives you a STUNNING view of the bridge! I love the vibe, the staff were great and the atmosphere was absolutely awesome
Great location, comfortable room. We stayed in a room with a shared bathroom. No complaints! It's a very nice and cute hotel. Great place to stay in Astoria as a couple.
