The staff was very friendly, breakfast was good and starts at 4:30am so you get something also early in the morning which is great, room was nice and clean and the price was great.
Room wallpaper peeling, water stain on ceiling
Older facility in great location for air travel. Nice staff, good breakfast, great shuttle.
Clean. Well decorated. Good facilities. Plenty amenities. Fast maintenance sevice. Good value for dollar. Convenient. Small fitness room available. Would book there again! Better than last stay at Central Ave, Colonie. Pleased with stay.
Cigarette odor in lobby and non-smoking hallway. Small fitness room area. Breakfast would nenefit from expanded menu.
Was 1 mile to Albany airport which was good due to snow
Place was not as clean as I expected. Poor customer service. They did not shovel or plow snow adequately making it a wet miserable experience. Room had obvious mold in bathroom and I'm pretty certain I was sharing the bed with little critters (bedbugs). Would not stay here again
I lik e everything the breakfast was good the front desk was kind of rude the maintenance guy was kind of rude front desk was kind of rude wasn't very helpful with when asked about attractions writing desk knew nothing but overall beautiful day
did not like the rudeness and the attitude of the front desk worker for the maintenance guy. at breakfast when I was getting accepted waffle I was asked by the book how many times I was going to eat felt very uncomfortable
Staff was very friendly. Room we where originally assigned, was still Dirty & Non Smoking. Went to Front Desk to let them know. They found us a Room that was clean & what we had Reserved right away.
Proximity to Restaurants & Stores. Also I happened to accidentally get hurt & there was no First Aid Kit in the Hotel.
Day clerk working 7am to 11pm very friendly.
Hard to locAte entrance.
The front desk people were very helpful.
There was a hole in the wall hair in the shower and no own told me that i had to turn the light switch up to watch tv.
Staff was accomodating
It was a bed in a room with a bathroom and no bed bugs. The neighbor was done yelling at his girlfriend on the phone by 10pm, so we were able to get some sleep. The desk attendant was kind enough to remove her earbuds to listen to my quick question.
It's a cheap sleep. You get what you pay for. Cleanliness was lacking. Absolutely no attention to detail. The shower fluctuates from cold to skin-melting hot. Classless loud neighbors dealing with their dysfunctional relationships on the phone. Place smells like cigarette smoke. Entrance is across the street from the entrance to the juvenile detention center. But for a 12 hour layover, what do you want?
I love this hotel it Is right next to the airport and in the middle of a lot things..
I was trying to rest and it took 4 hours to get settled in due to housekeeping marking rooms clean and 3 rooms were not even touched from last people other rooms hair in toilet tub
Location was suitable, close to the airport, parking and access were good and the room was comfortable.
While I personally did not get bit, my traveling companion did. Room could use a little refinishing.
for the price...it was clean and safe and the furniture was fairly new and had free wifi...i was a little nervous reading some reviews, but its a nice place.
the location is on an industrial road, so if you don't have a car, its a challenge, but they have a shuttle there. The gym was nearly non-existent
I found it difficult to find from the long term parking lot in the middle of the night.
They didn't clean my room!!
Large room with refrigerator and hot tub.
You could feel the springs in the bed.
I used booking.com to reserve the room and was charged more than the website said. We got there and they had the wrong type of room reserved so the clerk moved us to a different room. Once we finally made it to the room, we walked in and the bed was completely unmade, no sheets even in the room. I called the front desk & she said someone would be down. About 15 minutes they knocked on the door, the guy barely spoke English and just handed us the sheets for us to make the bed. We had to call again to get pillow cases and towels. I think it was possibly the worst hotel I've ever stayed at.
Checking out at 5am to find another hotel
Everything it was disgusting everything was dirty floor bathroom fridge microwave. Stains on wall paper do not stay there even for free
Location to airport
Male at front desk totally screwed up my reservation. Signed me in as someone else who had a reservation. Even had me sign for his pre approved credit card. Luckily I caught it. Breakfast was mediocre at best.
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The young woman (cleaning staff) who came in our room to help us figure out the tv problem was delightful.
If breakfast is available until 11, don't start looking around to pack it up at 10:45. The carpet (room and corridor) needs to be cleaned. If the tv requires that a certain wall switch be in an "on" position, then that switch should be labeled--otherwise a person comes in the room, flips the switch and thinks that it doesn't do anything because nothing goes on or off.
It was near the airport.
The male who checked us in was unprofessional. He did not give us any information about the wireless, breakfast, location of our room or any other amenities. He was dressed like a slob and when we had to return because our room only had one towel and one hand towel he made a humph noise and went in the back to get more. When he returned he said nothing, not even an 'I'm sorry'. The sheets had huge stains, there was hair in the tub, the door handle on the bathroom door was broken, and the halls and stairwells had a pungent odor. The tile floors in the stairwell and reception areas were sticky and did not appear to have been cleaned in weeks or longer. At breakfast there was no juice in the juice dispenser and no knives to spread condiments or cut with. Overall very poor cleanliness and service!
the bathroom was clean and the mattress was comfortable.
the hotel is very shabby - worn carpets, etc. the first room we were given had not been made up, so we were given a different room across the hall. we found a cockroach in the room in the morning. breakfast was somewhat meager - no yogurt or fruit, and the hard boiled eggs were terrible (shelled and sitting in boiling water.)
Was very hard to find
