Location is perfect. Subway is a 2 minute walk and you will be in down-town New York in half an hour. Didn't spend much time in the hotel itself, bed was comfortable and got good sleep. Breakfast was basic but overall good value for money. Much cheap than the down town hotels but with the subway makes no difference.
Location is good, very close to subway station. Not so expensive for NY. Breakfast is also good.
Noisy in the rooms even during the nights. The bed was shaking because of trains or traffic.
Staff Location Facilities
Continental breakfast and bathroom was quite modern & roomy.
Hallway smelled like cigarette smoke.
This hotel is very close to the subway.
The staff member on reception when I arrived was very rude; my room was not ready although I checked in at 7.30pm; the previous occupent's underpants were still in the bathroom when I was eventually able to access my room; the room was not cleaned or re-provisioned properly during my stay; the cleaning staff disposed of my medication for no apparent reason. The immediate location is very shabby with nowhere to eat or drink unless you want poor quality fast food.
The accommodations and the staff.
the breakfast area was very small. Waited several minutes to use waffle machine. Had to eat in room
Not enough towels
Rooms were clean, comfortable. Ended up next to the elevator and never heard it once. Not glamorous or sprawling but considering all we did was sleep and have breakfast there - perfect and didn't break the bank
The Hotel is accessible by T and has many places to eat such as restaraunts, there are banks and plenty of stores (all in walking distance).
Staff are rude, no one came to clean our room to change bed sheets, bring clean towels, breakfast food tasted old, coffee was horrible and building looks as if it is about to fall apart.
Close to the subway station which took approx 40 min to the center of NYC but this was not an issue. Room was adequate for what we needed and reasonable breakfast provided. Would have no hesitation staying here again.
The neigbourhood was not the best but we did feel save walking around there. WiFi was very sporadic which didn't help when you tried to make other bookings online.
It was really close to the metro station and the actual hotel was very nice. The staff were friendly. The air con in the room was a godsend as the rooms were so stuffy. It was also good value for money.
The hotel is very close to a main road so it was very noisy, even with the window shut. The breakfast room was very small for the amount of guests. We weren't sure about our safety after dark in the neighbourhood.
Location is not bad, free parking is available, free wifi
Not clean, rude staff, not comfartable and expensive
The hotel was clean, quite and comfortable. I would choose it again.
Location is great. close to subway. 15 mins to Lower Manhattan. Staff helpful. Free breakfast. Fairly quiet with some nice local restaurants a few blocks away.Neighborhood nicer than it first appeared on google maps. Flat screen tv's-good reception
Cellar rooms- limited light and didn't smell great. Upper floors much nicer. Rooms on smaller size but ok.
The hotel was comfortable and better value for money for New York. The restaurants nearby were good value.
The area. Although handy to the subway the area was dirty and industrial and a lot of rubbish on the streets.
Location and recent renovations made it a very clean facility. The subway was only two blocks away in a seemingly very safe area on 4th. Continental breakfast included bagels, waffles, assorted toppings, yogurt, eggs, sausages, apples, bananas, juices and coffee / tea.
The washroom was a bit tight. The view from the room was an old unused building. Parking was described as being "free". It should be "free but limited".
Excellent staff at front desk they kept my luggage and always helpful with all sort of info
A bit noisy as the room was overlooking the main street, but was okay
The hotel lives up to its name. It is comfortable and has the basic amenities that most economy travelers seek. The parking is fine and the Subway is only a block away. Several good restaurants are within easy walking distance.
The hotel is not easy to locate and can only be approached one way which makes driving a little difficult.
Need more parking
Very helpful staff. They allowed me to leave my luggage with them for 2 hours after I checked out.
near the subway;very comfortable bed with all necessary room facilities
breakfast on polysyrene plates and limited choice
Especially the big bed
Cramped breakfast room
The bed was amazing. I didn't want to get out.
The view from the room was awful!
