No batteries in smoke alarms 1 towel per room 1 mini shampoo per room mold on shower curtain have to pay for in safe room
Conveniently located for where I needed to be with parking. It was a clean, friendly and very affordable place to lay my head for a few hours.
The lift slow
Rooms are big, it has shuttle bus to subway station
Location is't good if you want to walk around or eat something. Check-in time is 16-00 and it's impossible to get room earlier. Service is not good, they always forget to change towels or to put new soap. Two years ago I was there and it was better.
LIKED EVERYTHING FREE SHUTTLE THE PERSONEL WERE GREAT
NO COMPUTER SETUP
So many good things about this place, a gem of find for budget travellers to NY. Great rate includes breakfast (basic but filling), parking, wifi, free guest laundry, free shuttle to the local subway.
Free shuttle was good from the hotel, but had waits of upto 30-50min at times for the return pickup (reception too busy to txt the driver). If you know the way its only a 15 min walk.
shuttle to subway available and friendly staff
2 female employees working the front desk were arguing about who opened the mail. Very RUDE to us when we asked if we could check in. Location was in seedy part of city. Felt unsafe. Couldn't stay there.
Hallway and room Carpet dirty.
Shuttle Bus. This is only because the location sucks. There is nothing nearby the hotel. I could not even get a condom. Which was kind of good since I ended up not having any protection =)
Wifi. I didnot have wifi signal in my room. I had to come out to the lobby until 12am just to use the internet. The enthernet cable should have worked, but it didn'T. Every bad
I love the facility the breakfast room was sizable and pleased our morning needs. Thumb up for the maintenance staff for providing their help whenever needs
Change front desk staff attitude make sure they handled business professionally b/c the front desk represent the face of the hotel business model 101. Also provide rooms with small refrigerators like the new hotel
Good value, nice size, pretty clean, plenty of towels, plenty of drawer space also the shuttle service is fantastic.
Some staff having very loud non-work related conversations in the lobby, the location is near a slew of highways and I saw a worker putting cereal into the dispenser with a non-gloved hand.
No refrigerator or microwave in room
I would rather someone call me because there is so much to say.
The amenities, especially the full breakfast. The staff was very helpful and polite.
The marginal neighborhood, although it was not far from major tourist attractions.
For the value & location it's fantastic, could have been cleaner
Location is good during day but risky at night
Kid friendly Comfortable Quiet
Located so far and isolated Not many good places to eat around
Personnel were very unprofessional. I called the front desk to complain about my room that was not clean as I requested. I was verbally abused by a front desk clerk who claimed she was a manager. She came upstairs knocked on the door, I opened the door. She started to yell at me and call me all kinds of name. She asked me to leave and go to the Marriot Hotel if I am not happy here. When I asked her why she was yelling and screaming, as a paying guest I deserve some respect and courtesy. She threatened to call the police. I could not believe what I was hearing. I cannot believe this lady still have a job with that behavior. I am a frequent traveler and a Diamond member with Hilton Honors. Never in my life thought someone could get away with this behavior in the work place. It was so bad, I recorded the entire incident on my phone because I did know what she was going to do next. This experience top the list for me, I WILL NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER COMFORT INN.
the free shuttle was the reason we booked, but everything else was good too.
Wi-fi very poor signal.
Close to everything
Disgusting and filthy hotel - towels were linty, bedspreads had body fluids on them, room smelled, and other guests were noisy with screaming kids and banging doors. Worse Comfort Inn I have ever stayed at
Management and staff was very accommodating and helpful. Manager walked us to the bank and was extremely friendly and helpful.
Location seems sketchy but was very quiet and comfortable. We would stay again!
Overall cleanliness of the hotel is very good. Staff was friendly. Beds slept really well.
The hotel uses two wifi systems, one had good reception across the hotel, but had no connection to the internet. Another had very poor reception, but did work. The location of the hotel for Travel to Manhattan is not very convienient, but the hotel offers a shuttle service to the trains which runs until 11:50 pm. This is bood service, yet also necessary.
housekeeper must know sink's not working someone else must hear the a/c compressor banging rm 118 your welcome
The only good thing was the free transportation to the cruise terminal,
After arriving at the hotel I was informed that the room I had reserved was given to another person with my name. I was not impressed with the staff over this. I had a confrontation with them as to whose visa card was used to pay for the room. The individual at the desk was rude and argumentative. I was given another room but it was not a very nice room on the 2nd floor. I would not recommend the hotel.
The room had a musty stuffy odor. It was very small, no room to put anything on counter in the bathroom.
