Score from 564 reviews Very good
Rooms small and over priced.
We absolutely loved the staff there at Comfort Inn. Especially Sapphire. She was amazing and very helpful. I would stay there again.
Staff we're very helpful, could not do enough for you. Wi fi is very good and the location isn't bad, about a 15 min walk to nearest subway station.
The noise is terrible, we were on 1st floor next to canteen area. Noise started from 4.30am, rock band playing music across the road til about 11pm. The breakfast is ok, but not enough tables to cater the hotel.......
good breakfast but a little crowded, nice staff, good location close to barclays center, clean room, big bathroom
the staff was talking a little too loud in the morning in the corridors and the breakfast area was too small
Price was first, but the loca was excellent because we planned to walk the Brooklyn bridge & attend the Sunday smorgasbord !!
Loved the place
The staff was great! The bed and pillows were very comfortable!
The room was a little dusty and small for a King size bed.
Good location for exploring downtown Brooklyn
* Breakfast room way too crowded * Rooms very exposed to noise from corridors (other guests, staff, corridor ice machines etc) * WIFI not working in room (poor connection) The experience would drastically improve, if these things where fixed: expand breakfast hours and/or open another breakfast area, install properly closing front doors in the rooms, remove ice machines, get better WIFI connection)
staff was friendly
hotel is noisy and seemed over crowded. The breakfast room was to small for the size hotel. the Breakfast was not great. Do not stay on the first floor the it is noisy. Hotel is in a industrial area not that convenient
A generous variety of breakfast food. Very pleasant staff.
Housekeeping couldn't count towels.
15 minutes walk to Atlantic Avenue subway station just a few stops from Manhatten. Friendly staff Basic but reasonable breakfast included Good A/C in room View of Manhatten across Brooklyn from our upper floor room Small neighbourhood delis and shops nearby
Area is a little run down - not for anyone very nervous about surroundings Be aware this hotel is used by families arriving from late / early flights so there may be some night time noise - security is on call and will try and help No fridge in room but Ice maker available FYI Cab fare to JFK is about $55
Breakfast, children friendly, the guy at the front desk very friendly.
The dining area is WAY too small for the number of guests and the food is horrible. A bottleneck at the toast keeps people standing and in the way. Not a pleasant experience. The location is seedy...I would never go back.
Location was good, easy access to Subway. Decent area to walk. All staff encountered were pleasant and eager to assist.
Booking ad stated all rooms had refrigerators and microwaves. Upon check-in found out had to be requested in advance and none available. Staff did allow us to store food in their refrigerator and there was a microwave in the breakfast area so it worked out ok.
Helpful and attentive staff
Small and had several issues in just the two nights we stayed - tv remotes not working, curtains not closing, minor things.
1-Very small rooms 2- One of my 2 rooms is not as I booked, as they gave me king romm in first night!!! 3- very poor breakfast! 4- staff are not cooperated and they are not welcoming ar all!! I don't recommend this hotel at all الفندق سيء للغاية
The hotel itself was generally ok and the breakfast was plentiful with good variety. There was no safe in the room though which I would've preferred.
The location was not in a residential part of the street or close to the shops but overlooking an industrial estate with large trucks making noise at night. This was a surprise to us and almost brought us to tears of disappointment. It was too late for us to change to another hotel
The hotel is clean and rooms are comfortable yet small. Staff is friendly.
The location is awful. How can you situate a hotel right between Waste Management and Food Truck depots with trucks going in and out during the night? It's an industrial corner of Brooklyn. A terrible introduction to Brooklyn.
One receptionist was very helpful and the bathroom was clean
Location was dreadful, room was about half normal hotel size, parking had to be reserved and was chargeable, wifi didn't work at all
One of the receptionists was very helpful
The wi-fi didn't work and despite complaining at every opportunity nothing was done about it. Your entry for the hotel said no reservation was necessary for parking. Not true, and we had to park our car out on the street for two days and nights in a terrible neighbourhood.
The discount I received after complaining.
The room was completely dirty. The beds had not been changed. There was hair and dirt marks on the bed sheets and make-up on the pillow cases. You can tell the pillow cases had not been changed either due to dirt stains them being wrinkled. There was no bathroom linen either. The floors had food crumbs and hair pins and the bathroom shower had not been clean as the soap dish had harden soap and hair all in the shower. There was a white substance that looked to have been splashed across the TV and closet and there was something that looked to have been purposely placed on the telephone headset mouth part that was wet and sticky. I complained and was told the hotel was full to capacity and I could not be switched to another room until the next day. I asked for the beds to be changed and was told that they had no more linen until the next day when the "truck" arrived. The security officer brought 3 flat sheets and 2 pillow cases and handed them to me so I had to change the dirty linen myself. I had no other choice to stay there as I arrived at 1am and had no alternate place to stay so I made it work but my stay that night was so uncomfortable. The next day I had to check out and wait until after 2pm for another room. The next room again had no bathroom linen only one hand towel. I was given one night free and one night of free parking. I am making this complaint because the housekeeping staff was awful and need to be re-evaluated because as I complained about my stay to the front desk they received several calls about no linen in the rooms. When I was told the hotel had no more linen until the next day I automatically knew that the first room I had was one that was "fixed" up due to there being no linen. I think the housekeeping staff knew the room and linen was dirty but did not think I would notice. That was very nasty and unsanitary. I wanted ALL my money back due to the inconvenience of having to switch rooms.
It was available when I needed it.
The place was not in the best of locations in terms of the subway/
staff was helpful. breakfast was decent.
In this day in age, no wi-fi is a deal breaker. Especially if you are from out of town and have to pay for roaming as a result.
We arrived late at night and we stayed for 1 night. AVIS has a rental location close by and the hotel was situated very conveniant for us since wa had to get the rental car back. The next day we left for the AirPort JFK (app 45 min by taxi).
The elevator Doors were not working properly and we got stuck with a stroller.
The room was clean. The A/c was super chill. Courteous and respectful staff. Different options for the free breakfast. Daily housekeeping service during our stay
The breakfast room was too small in size and not enough space to move around. The building had only one elevator, it was quite a long wait for the elevator during breakfast time
The key cards frequently stopped working for some reason!
