The location was convenient to where we had to go.
They offered little to no parking. I had called multiple times prior to our check-in and no one once offered or asked if we would need parking. The room was so small we could barely walk around the bed and you can hear EVERYTHING in the hallways & outside. Upon check-in the associate did not advise me that I would be charged a deposit for incidentals to our room. I had to call back down to the front desk to ask what the charge was on my account. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone I know nor will I be staying there again.
Very clean Would recommend anytime
Too noisy. Because my room was next to the Elevator
Friendly staff, well equipped rooms, comfortable beds.
Breakfast is pretty average. If you are unlucky to have breakfast at the same time like a tour group then you might not find a seat and you have to wait for the staff to bring out more food.
No microwave, no fridge, paying for parking, noise, cold coffee, next door guest keep slamming door when going in and out,,,small dinning area.
Nothing worse stay ever
The guy in the front desk had no idea what he was doing they couldn't check me in or out I got charged day by day instead at check out never again I would stay here
Location and breakfast
No parking. Rooms too small. Heater not working. Cold Air coming thru the closed window
The location was very good, close to subway stations Atlantic Terminal and Union St (mostly used Atlantic Terminal station as it's the fastest way to Manhattan). The bed and the pillows were very comfortable, and it felt cosy in the room as well.
The trucks outside made very loud noise especially at night which was extremely disturbing, we even had to use earplugs. In addition, they changed the sheets quite seldom, had to ask the hotel staff to change them and to clean the room properly as even after the room was serviced there was dust on the furniture and the carpets needed vacuuming. Moreover, during our stay there was some problem with the satellite TV as it took ages to switch the channels. We reported the problem and the staff changed the remote but unfortunately it did not solve the whole problem. There is only 1 elevator so it's better to take the stairs as it may take long for it to arrive.
Being able to stay in NYC without paying the crazy hotel rates of Manhattan. Hotel was clean, free breakfast, and staff was friendly.
It was about a seven block hike to restaurants, stores and the subway. The hotel is located in an industrial area so we had a view of warehouses and there were often big trucks blocking the street.
The rooms are nice, and the staff is helpful, and the folded towel and tissue structures are beautiful
The rooms are dirty. The bed and pillows looked as if the sheets were not changed. Hair on pillow and sheets. Also the bathroom had tissue all over the floor near tiolet area. We came in late morning and were giving a parking pass...however the desk attendant did not tell is the parking pass was 28 dollars and just added it to my bill.
Clean, quiet, comfortable, walking distance to Barclays center
Parking rate but hey it's the city so that's to be expected
The bed was comfortable, Some of the staff was very friendly, Breakfast was good. Hotel was clean. Front desk provided ear plugs at 3am when the heater made a ticking noise all night.
I had a question the first night about the charge on my card by the Hotel. The man working the front desk 10/17 in the evening was Rude, He could not answer my question, told me I would have to speak to the manager, gave the managers card, and then was so RUDE. I left a message on the managers phone, with my question, my room number and phone number. In my four night stay I did not receive a return call at all from the manager. the heating/air unit made a ticking sound all night so I could not not use it at night. it is also further from the subway than their add implies.
Located in a nice area. Service at the hotel is fantastic. staff were friendly and extremely helpful.
nothing not to like
The staff was amazing very helpful. We had complimentary breakfast every morning.. room was well cleaned.. enjoy my time
A lil noisy our room was beside the stairs and each time some opens and close the door it bangs.
staff was very pleasant
no wifi in 116 ... Tried several times to connect my phone but couldn't due tolocation of the room. Also hotel is located close to a food cart depot so not good for a restful sleep as they start very early in the morn
Excellent staff! Very friendly and informative. Appreciated the water bottles in a.m. Like that there weren't bed spreads but rather a sheet over blanket.
- Shower curtain in my room (106) smelled badly of mildew. It permeated the whole bathroom. - Room door didn't shut completely flush and light leaked in. (Door seemed to be warped.)
that it was fairly close to the barclays center, still had to walk about 6-8 blocks, but it was one of the more "affordable" hotels in the area.
that we had to pay $28 plus tax to park, or risk street parking and possibly having the car towed. it would've been nice if the room had a fridge & microwave for the price.
Rooms small and over priced.
Just as other reviews state, great staff and very clean. It is in a warehouse district and there is a lot of street noise early in the morning. But the staff is great, room was very clean and it is within walking distance to the Barclay center,
We absolutely loved the staff there at Comfort Inn. Especially Sapphire. She was amazing and very helpful. I would stay there again.
Staff we're very helpful, could not do enough for you. Wi fi is very good and the location isn't bad, about a 15 min walk to nearest subway station.
The noise is terrible, we were on 1st floor next to canteen area. Noise started from 4.30am, rock band playing music across the road til about 11pm. The breakfast is ok, but not enough tables to cater the hotel.......
good breakfast but a little crowded, nice staff, good location close to barclays center, clean room, big bathroom
the staff was talking a little too loud in the morning in the corridors and the breakfast area was too small
Price was first, but the loca was excellent because we planned to walk the Brooklyn bridge & attend the Sunday smorgasbord !!
Loved the place
The staff was great! The bed and pillows were very comfortable!
The room was a little dusty and small for a King size bed.
Good location for exploring downtown Brooklyn
* Breakfast room way too crowded * Rooms very exposed to noise from corridors (other guests, staff, corridor ice machines etc) * WIFI not working in room (poor connection) The experience would drastically improve, if these things where fixed: expand breakfast hours and/or open another breakfast area, install properly closing front doors in the rooms, remove ice machines, get better WIFI connection)
