The energy efficient lights are great but at least brighter lights in the bathroom for women making themselves beautiful.
Although the area around the hotel wasn't very appealing the hotel itself was very cute! Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Front desk staff is super friendly!
Bad area. little Central America. No restaurants. Def no late not walking around. Glad it was only a night.
Staff was pleasant. Security guard at front desk should keyed me in..
Rooms were very small but adequate. Pool is small. Breakfast is basis but does set you up for the morning. There are no other eating opportunities except for vending machines. There is a air-conditioning unit that is about 50% effective. Hotel is close to the road so expect traffic noise.
Staff were great. Hotel was great value for money. Located well for all travel by car to many locations. They had a good but small swimming pool that was good for my 10 year old but not for adults. Car parking off road was very good keeping car and contents safe. Coffee and fruit was available through the day. Coffee making, microwave, TV, fridge in each room.
Poor rooms that require updating, charged for parking. No discounts given for the hotel not being able to supply a room with a balcony as booked, yet charged for room changes when booked on a previous booking.
They tried to sort the room faults.
waiting time to check in was not prompt, although the recept had explained they short handed that day. waited for 1 hr with 3 other guests ahead of me.
good location. u can take the red line to hollywood and universal studio.
Wifi is very poor, no signal in room.
Breakfast was very good and staff are very friendly, clean comfortable room.
The room was clean & new
Kindness of the staff. The room was very clean.
Bad Bad neighborhood. we were afraid to walk outside the hotel...
New rooms! very comfortable.
Booking.com didn't book the rooms as booked. Reception staff not really interested and charged an extra 60 dollars for this mistake
Ideal for a one night stay on arrival in the USA. Front desk staff not overly helpfull in dealing with a booking issue. Breakfast ok
Parking isn't free and if you have 2 cars within your party for some reason have to try and find parking out on the street of Los Angeles which is not easy at all.
Location: Every venue is pretty close to the hotel. Stayed here to go to an event at the L.A Coliseum.
The hallway was loud people coming in late and the door seemed to slam hard
It was a close location to the fashion district and downtown LA
the location is not very safe wifi is terrible
hotel looks pretty employees are nice
If you confuse poverty with menace, this isn't in a location you will enjoy. I was apprehensive before coming but felt entirely safe, even when walking back from Downtown late on Saturday night.
The staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant, offering top quality service at all times. The bed was particularly comfortable. The room was a little dingy (it wasn't one of the refurbished ones) but clean, and had everything you could need, including a decent sized fridge, except air conditioning quiet enough to use. It wasn't so hot that this bothered us. Regular bus goes directly into Downtown very close to the hotel.
The breakfast is too minimalist and doesn't have variety. It leans too much on the sweet side. I also saw my hotel room open one night after coming back from the city. Nothing was missing, but it shows that housekeeping was not diligent and careful in closing my room after it was cleaned. I told the management about it and they apologized. It seems that they used to be another hotel chain which was renovated. However, it seems that they didn't renovate the bathroom. In my room, while the bedroom was nice, the bathroom was old-school. The water took a long time to drain, suggesting the plumbing was old, and the shower curtain was also ripped. The water pressure was weak, and the shower head was slightly dirty.
I like the hotel efforts to conserve and overall be a green hotel. They have several things put in place to keep things green.
The neighberhood is not so nice and clean.
The staff is amazing willing to help especially the ladies in the reception.
we had asked for a rollaway bed when we made our reservation, we got there and there were none available, also air condition did not cool down room well, also we left our room on saturday morning to go shopping at 800am and returned at approx. 300pm and our room had not been cleaned yet, trash in trash cans, dirty towels on bathroom floor and beds unmade and no clean towels for that evening, very disappointed, will not be staying there again.
location, close to down town LA
Vending machines were outrageously priced, misleading (1.25 for a 20 Oz bottle pictured on the machine however it dropped a 12 Oz can)then didn't take bills or no money at all for the snack items (1.25 fr small bags of chips) so I was happy it didn't take my money. Rooms were very small and shabby, peeling paint and wallpaper, stained sinks and worn furniture and carpet. It was obvious that owners reinvested minimal profits back into the establishment with slick new furniture in the lobby but no upgrades to the rooms. Location is not convenient to any tourist sites however it gave easy access to the 405 and the rest of the city. It seems to be in a rough part of town with a fire station next door as well. We were concerned as we drove closer to the location, not an area for leisurely walks or outside activities. Parking is on site however there is a $4 nuisance fee charged for it that makes no sense.
The staff was wonderful...cheerful, professional and helpful. It was nice to see on site security as well. The beds were clean and comfortable and the tvs were large and clear.
Staff, surrounding, hotel stinks and breakfast the worst I have seen.
Staff were very friendly they let us leave our luggage as we were early for check in
Great customer service. Super comfy bed. Helped provide a crib for our baby for free. Restrooms were super clean. Loved everything about this place. Definitely staying here in the future.
The surrounding location is pretty shabby, especially at night, nowhere to eat within walking distance - mother & teen daughter, felt the need to take the car at night.
The hotel and staff were excellent, location was fine if you want to use this as a base to see LA with a car. Free continental breakfast a bonus.
Breakfast should be better.
Staffs was very polite and friendly. Good location. Clean rooms. Very calm area.
