Clean and simple rooms, nothing fancy but value for money Breakfast was nice, but the breakfast room was a little too small to seat all the guests... We always had to wait for a table to become available. |

Qietness in the room. That was worth it if nothing else. Seemed to be very clean and comfortable. The price was too high with no pool, no spa, etc. We had to call for towels every day. They need to leave at least three towels. They were short in the wash cloth department as well. We had to call for those too, every day. It took an hour and a half to get our car....not acceptable. |

1) The Staff was very pleasant and helpful....... 2) Breakfast was excellent unless you got there when it was nearly over - :( 3) Good central location and most sights were very close by 4) Easy access to the Metro (about 5 blocks) and plenty of limos/taxis available in front of the hotel 1) The bordering neighborhood (on two sides) is actually a bit "seedy" and the hotel is adjacent to what appears to be a public housing building. 2) The front door was never locked at night (even late) and even when a doorman was not at his post (which was the norm) 3) On two different occasions, we encountered several people - definitely not hotel guests - in the Lobby and/or elevator looking for restrooms and/or "free breakfast". It just seemed there were alot of people around who weren't Hotel guests. This made us a bit wary and uncomfortable. It also seemed odd that the Staff - who seemed professional, helpful and courteous - could be rather oblivious to the fact. |

I was in dc for a conference and the location was perfect for me: a short walk to 7th st for food and sights, a short walk to the convention center, and a short wak to the metro which put all of dc at my door. I'm a single, middle-aged woman and in great shape, and I was out till about 11:00 each night. I did feel safe, but I think a younger woman alone might be uncomfortable in this area since younger woman tend to get more attention. |

Great value for money! Short distance to Metro and on bus routes to downtown. Easy walk to Convention Center. In a residential neighborhood, safe for walking. Good breakfast and cookies at night! Free Wi-Fi, something more expensive hotels do not offer. Room was a bit small so that desk chair was always in way of getting into bathroom. A minor inconvenience. Windows did not open which would have been nice. |

The room was nice and very clean. The subway station was not far. The lady in the front desk was not professional - She has to learn how to deal with customers. |

Staff was great, very helpfull during the check out. The hotel is in a good area, close to the main attractions. The room was very quiet in spite that it was on the first floor. The bathroom was too small. Phone calls very expensive. |

very central. had to evacuate room at 2200 due to fire alarm . would have been helpful if staff had told us what was happening. we waited out in the rain until fire brigade arrived and then message filtered through that we could return to rooms. no explanation given ? was there a fire or false alarm |

Good breakfast, good location, good price for area. They had cleaned the hall with a fragranced cleaner - spurred allergies, they opened a window and I was okay. The shower head needs repaired, I told them so they could fix for next customer, I hope they do. |

Convienence Yes, I thought the Televison News programs were biased. Fox News was not available. However, the Clinton News Network aka the Communist News Network and the Communist Broadcasting System as well as the Nationistic Broadcasting Communism networks were available! |
