“ I really liked the location. It is about a mile from Comerica park and other destinations in the area. The staff was very kind and the rooms were not too bad for the money. It was definitely not a 5 star hotel, but it suited my needs perfectly. ”

The staff is truly phenomenal - the nicest most helpful people, and I appreciated the free wi-fi and shuttle to COBO. Also, I stayed there last year, and love the redesign and newly painted rooms.

It was nice to have the shuttle available back and forth to Downtown, but the service was very slow. The price was unreasonable for a hotel that needs such updating. For 1 room, with a king sized bed, my bill was over $190.00. That did not include a microwave or fridge.

I enjoyed the staff, although I don't recall all their names they were an excellent staff of individuals (especially Andre)...personable, friendly, cordial, helpful, going beyond the extra mile to accommodate the guest. I would definitely recommend to others and stay there again whenever I am in that part of Detroit. I did not like the smell of my room and wish there were some delicious healthier food choices for people such as myself that do not eat meats.

I really liked the location. It is about a mile from Comerica park and other destinations in the area. The staff was very kind and the rooms were not too bad for the money. It was definitely not a 5 star hotel, but it suited my needs perfectly. The only complaint I have is that the wifi was not very strong. The hotel offers free wifi however it did not work in my room at all.

It was on the main road on Jefferson Avenue and very near to Cobo hall. This was advantageous for our conference/event attending. Breakfast was very poor. There should have been more options, instead of just bread/bun & cereals.

The shuttle service provided to and from the Tiger's game was an added bonus. Bathroom needed updated, the shower assembly pulled away from the wall.

the breakfast was pretty good but they should have offered more for a $220 room The beds were horrible and so were the pillows. The rooms had a faint smell to them. The quality of the soaps were terrible. The hallways also smelled.

The free shuttle was a plus. You could call up until midnight and the driver would come pick you up. And he was very friendly! Not clean at all. Hair in the shower, dirty and smelly.

This was the worst experience in my life and i spent approx. 17 years living in NYC and surrounding bouroghs.I never experienced anything like it. It was a cross between a welfare hotel and a crack den. To make matters worse we had no electricity and no lights as they lost power and yet surrounding homes/buildings (which weren't burned out) seemed to have power...go figure...

This hotel offered free Wifi which was a plus but that is it and overshadowed by such a poor experience. The hotel was located in a "sketchy" part of time, it smelled of smoke in the hallways and elevators at all different times of day. There was no security being that anyone could walk into the hotel and up to your room. There were several issues with the room, ceiling was patched, no towels, bedspread had "greasy" spots all over it. The continental breakfast was made up of bread, cereal and juice. No protein and we had to ask for cups for coffee and more bread to make toast. The staff did not seem willing to help us out or make us feel welcome in any way. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and am very embaressed to have booked this hotel and taken my friends here.
