That is was close to downtown.
Carpet and bed slifts were stained. Kids running down the hallway and nothing was done.
Friendly staff and overall cleanliness. Continental breakfast was ok, coffee was good, better than not offering it at all.
Wifi reception was mediocre, sheets didn't fit bed (not right size), and the heat was either too hot or too cold. Settings are hard to control. TV reception poor.
The bed was comfy and the staff was nice.
Room looked to be done very quickly and they missed allot of things that should have been done. It was a "handicap" room but there would be no way my wheelchair would have fit in bedroom area. TV was poor...snowy screen on most channels. No coffee pot in room. The breakfast area was right in the center of the main lobby also. To top it off we had people in the next room that don't understand most people like to sleep at midnight.
Everything was horrible
Loved the shuttle service and the location.
That the shuttle didn't start until after 4 so we had to take a cab to the casino
The staff was great. They were super helpful with everything we asked. They also provided a free shuttle to the Lions game which was awesome and saved us some money on parking.
The area directly around the hotel was kind of sketchy, but then again all of Detroit is run down.
the area was not the greatest. didn't feel as it was safe
We had made our reservation 2 months in advance....the hotel called me the night we were supposed to check in, while we were driving there, to tell me that they were all sold out and the only room left was with a king bed. We had 3 adults traveling with us so that wouldn't work. I told him I had a reservation for two beds and he was not concerned. We did not stay here.
The shuttle service was great. Driver was Friendly and helpful. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean the price was a good fair price. Will definitely be back again in the summer for a Tigers game.
the room we had was one with a window like a glass shower. You couldn't open it or see outside. This fact of not being able to open window made me feel unsafe. What if a fire broke out and we couldn't use the door. They should address this.
Price was pretty good and location was close to downtown. Also offered a shuttle that can take you around town
WiFi was super slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwww- wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!
Staff was nice, location was good, price was good too. Our room smelled clean and was very clean. Glad they had a parking lot.
Breakfast was just alright, no eggs or meats, bed was hard and only one sheet besides the comforter (which I don't feel comfortable using if it's not washed regularly). Doors in the hotel weren't clean, and the hallway smelled like dog and weed. Towels were a little rough.
the staff is great, kind, gentle, and always ready to whatever you may ask. Excellent impression.
the internet does not reach all rooms.
Staff very professional, friendly and accommodating. Close to Cobo Conv. Center
Room #324 Bathroom lighting Washcloths & towels, no floor towel Furniture - Desk & Chair Noise Hotel soap Coffee pot
customer service at check in was excellent. all staff were exceptionally friendly regardless what time, or during phone conversations prior to check in. utilized shuttle service and driver service excellent. highly recommended.
Shuttle bus was Great! Andre gave us his cell phone number and picked us up where ever we we!
No Shower in our room. There was a Tub with a shower hose that you had to pull out and hold over your head. No shower curtain either.
Joe at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and the hotel and rooms were very clean and smelled nice.
We arrived at night and in the dark it didn't seem to be in the best of areas and the parking lot is surrounded by tall fence with security wire at the top, which made me think they had to have had a reason to do that. But our vehicle was fine the next morning. In the daylight, the location was decent, a little out of the way of downtown but it was an easy, safe walk to Ford Field so it worked out. The mattresses are cheap and bouncy so it wasn't the best sleep I've ever had. But that could also be on account of the morons screaming, yelling and laughing at all hours of the night. The hotel itself is a little rundown and dated but you could tell they did their best to keep it clean and comfortable.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was basic but good. The best part is that this place is less than 50% of the cost of hotels located one mile away.
The property is older, but this is what I expected. I was happy to have a decent place to stay, and this place had clean bathrooms and was suitable for my needs.
We made a mistake in the booking but the front desk was extremely helpful and sorted us out.
The free courtesy shuffle to & from our event at "the joe"
Excellent service from the staff working at the Hotel
WiFi was intermittent, could hear everything happening in adjacent rooms through the night!!
The shuttle was really good
Nice workers I really had a good time staying there and I will come back and tell others about it
Employees very friendly and nice. Great location.
Staff was very helpful and nice. Room was clean close to sports stadiums shuttle service
Didn't see pool or exercise room and it was on the photos on the internet blower didn't work A little noisy because of the location
stayed at the regency not the 'prettiest' of places but the staff do a great job of keeping it clean and the front desk guys were really accomodating. im not recommending this place for a family stay but hey if you nees a room to craah in for a night or 2 while travelling solo ot with other adults it will do the trick on the cheap.
the a/c was archaic and room had a slight cigarette smell to it (you can tell they once allowed smoking).
