Offers Wi-Fi, but trying to get logged on was next to impossible. Too many users already logged on - try later. Parking was almost void of cars, which to me suggested that there were not that many guest checked in at the motel. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Green bananas - hard bread - butter that looked like it had getting quite old. Shower lever in the bathroom was not working properly. Tv needs to be replaced, not focused and blurry.

I was disappointed with the breakfast. Also that we had to walk outside in the cold to go to breakfast.

After an initial mix-up with my room reservations, due to the hotel's fault, they were able to accomodate me with a room with a king-size bed, I did not want but at least I didn't have to pay more. The next day I was able to get switched over to a room with two queen beds and the carpet seemed to be quite a bit newer than the one in the previous room; the room also smelled fresh. The desk agent, Erica, was fantastic. The hotel is located on a street where there are lots of different retail businesses, restaurants, banks, grocery stores, etc. The hotel's WiFi worked great; believe that had 3 or 4 access points available for connection. The cable\satellite had limited channels but enough to find something, if you're going to spend some time in the room. It does have the cartoon network for the little or big kids. The rooms were clean but the older ones seem to be a bit smelly, if they have not been used in a while. The hotel could not find my reservation, that was initially faxed to them by bookings.com and did not have the double-queen bed room that I wanted. They did get me booked into a room with a king-size bed but it was crowded with 3 people and they did not have any roll-away beds available. When we entered the room, it had a musty smell so we had to turn on the air and it eventually dissipated. The carpet seemed a bit old and the tv remote needed to have the batteries replaced. The hotel really needs to consider upgrading their tvs to flat screens. The complimentary breakfast was pretty awful, pretty slim pickings, no variety and the coffee (decaf) was disgusting, so we ended up driving to iHOP. We needed extra bath cloths, at night, but the front desk didn't carry any extra bath cloths or towels. I found that to be a little frustrating, since all the hotels I have stayed, in the past, supply extra guess towels, bathroom tissue, etc, at their front desks. The price was too high for that hotel, guess it was because of the Balloon festival that was going on. The hotel's quality did not match the price that I paid; I spent far far too much but it was that or a more high-end place paying 200 + a night. :-(

Lady that checked us in was nice. I made the reservation online and she had a problem finding it, but kept checking and found it. The room smelled bad, like a mixture of cigarette smoke and liquoir, and no telling what else. I realize it was an old hotel, but for $123.00, with taxes, I was expecting better. I've stayed in Comfort Inn's in a lot of different places, and have never paid that much, plus the rooms were a lot nicer! I know it was Baloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, but that price was rediculous! Plus we weren't even there for that, we came to see our granddaughter, whose in college there! I guess the stuff in the room was clean otherwise, but the smell was overpowering! When a room smells like that, I feel like it all is unclean! If we could of found something else there, I definately would of !
