It was clean and comfortable.

I'm not sure if this is a hotel or Booking.com issue, but when I read "double room" I assumed, having been in the hotel business, that it had 2 double beds, not just 1. Getting to the hotel after booking and finding it was going to cost ~$75 more for the weekend wasn't a pleasant surprise.

The rooms very very small had to park my car down the street. And walk back this is hard to do with small children. Paid cash so I would not have to use credit card and they still wanted a 100.00 deposit. Would not stay again The Hilton Bayfront. Was only 150 per night. I paid 152. at the Comfort Inn

The location is very good. It is only a few blocks from the the Padres' stadium. The nightlife in the area is fantastic with plenty of bars and cafes. You can take public transportation to the beaches. Surprisingly, the breakfast was worth sitting down for. The price of the room was one of the cheapest in this location and was a good value. Parking is more reasonable than other hotels. I'd stay here again if I were on a budget.

The hotel didn't seem full, but they gave me a small room in a noisy location. I suspect, because I booked on booking.com. That seems counter- intuitive to me.

The location was good and all bar one of the staff were friendly and helpfull.

Happened to catch a Padres game - always a bonus when your hotel in near something interesting.

Had everything we needed-liked the kitchenette+had comp bottles of water & m/w popcorn. Very clean & no smell here! Good price for the washer/dryers. Good choice for breakfast. My son liked the Gamer option-$7 an hour. Overall good value & close to gaslamp centre.

It's location is near to nightlife but only 1 Bar near us-not too bad-noisy til 1.30am & construction in next street started at 7am! Compact but still comfortable.

I really liked the location. It was close to restaurants, bars, and pretty much everything.

The room was tiny, the sink is not in the bathroom but in the living space. The staff during the brunch were not friendly. The air conditioning unit is in the window so you can hear all the noises outside. Was woken up all night from birds and people and construction started at 6:30am.

It was cozy. Very close to the areas we visited. A brisk walk away from a great dinner and drinks. Location is excellent.

I showed up early to check in and was still able to get a room with the parking spot on st. Patricks day weekend. We ended up with a room on the 1st floor which ended up working out just fine. The hotel couldn't be more convenient, it was within walking distance to just about everything. The room was super clean, the bed was comfy, had the fridge microwave. For 2 people it was perfect.

Beds were quite comfortable and the breakfast satisfying.

We had to change parking spots on the second day because the desk staff reassigned our spot. It seemed odd they wouldn't remember we were there for two nights. Also the room was cold at night due to drafty windows.

Location, availability to do your laundry if you are staying for more than a few days, like in my case.

Rooms, bit 'old fashioned' sink in the room and not the washroom! Air condition wasn't working very well! Beds not of the best..... Especially for someone staying 6 nights like I did.

Excellent value for the money.

Sound insulation leaves much to be desired, but this is my only gripe.

booked 2 queens, got 1 double, room so small we couldn't even open our suitcases. Staff was not helpful or knew anything about city area. Parking (at $19) was next door in open lot. Non smoking but allowed smoking at front door and smoke came in. Nothing electronic worked (cable, wifi DLS), for 3 days before we got there.
