Score from 30 reviews Wonderful
We arrived very early and extremely tired after an all-night flight. Check in should have been 3 pm; but the night manager went out of his way to arrange to get us immediately into a room.
The overnight guy was really friendly and seemed to care about making folks welcome.
I was surprised they didn't have any Christmas decorations up when we arrived. We stayed 3 nights, and before we left they got out the most pathetic Christmas tree ever. The next time I went through the lobby, I saw it decorated......AWFUL! It obviously was done by someone who does not care about Christmas at all! Also, breakfast was the same 3 days in a row....need to change it up a little with some variety.
convenient location. easy access to highway. always clean bathroom. Room temp good.
Floor not swept during entire visit. not good food choices in middle of week for medical problem. Internet very slow. Not as friendly as could be.
If not on the third floor, very noisy. Heard footsteps and someone walking above us until 4 am. Also the maids children bogg down the kitchen during breakfast.
The hot breakfast buffet did not have much variety, eggs, sausage or waffles.
Location and the breakfast
Limited business facility
Comfortable bed; good shower; good breakfast selection; and, reasonably priced
The inconvenient combination of three stories, a full house, and one elevator. Inadequate seating in breakfast area, especially with a full house crowd.
Clean, good facilities, Internet was fine, found an outdoor outlet to charge my car for a bit!
The badge (key) reader at the back door is very finicky. While the proper procedure for using it is spelled out next to it, it's still difficult to use and needs to be fixed.
Friendly staff & clean rooms. Good local restaurant( Sarpinos) delivered free.
It was very difficult to find. The frontage road that The Comfort Inn is on, starts & stops. We had to get on & off a busy unfamiliar road several times to find it.
The carpet seemed new
The bedding dirty, fridge in room not working properly. Unfriendly staff. Was told no pets allowed and if they see a pet they will charge our card $500. Then upon getting in the elevator later to leave the couple getting off was using luggage cart to haul the dog crate with while holding their dog. Apparently some "special" dogs are allowed. Then when I complained I was asked to vacate his hotel or he would call the police.
Clean room and very comfortable bed.
Breakfast was just fair - we started going out for breakfast. They re-did the parking lot during our stay so not enough parking spots were available.
Room above was very noisie
I liked everything about this place
The check in was easy and fast. The staff was friendly. The hotel was quiet, no unusual noises. I liked the amenities of the microwave and refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable. Checkout was also fast and easy. They have a very good complimentary breakfast.
My only complaint is that the toilet stool is much too low to the floor. I have sort of long legs; therefore, it was uncomfortable trying to use it.
I really liked my room. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were, too. Beautifully decorated and clean. Hotel was clean and quiet. Very nice.
When I arrived there was no one at the counter. When the woman came out she said, "hi, it is too early to check in". "I had an early check-in time", I said, "from booking.com". I let her know, still she said, she had nothing I could get into and she never knows when booking.com approves early or late check-in's. I went to my car and got the email confirmations to show her. When she came to the counter, she did not welcome me, neither did she know who I was, nor did it seem to me she was interested in trying to find a way to accommodate me. Fo the first 5 minutes it was beyond distressing to me. As she went on to explain to me the four previous guests also said they had early check-in times, to which I replied this was not my problem. At that point she asked me "maam, what do you want me to do"? Call housekeeping and check if there were any rooms cleaned? Yes. This all took place until the manager came out to see what was going on. The staff member asked me twice if I was still wanting to stay there? I felt like she wanted me to go and that would be easier for her to send me somewhere else? By then that is how I felt. I told her no I wanted to stay there, both times. At first, the manager also began to explain what I was already told by his staff member but then I think he began to listen. By then I was not only tired but I felt my time was of the essence at this point and I was stressed out. Then the staff person heard back from housekeeping. My room was ready and clean! I wish the check-in person would have checked first before she put me through so much worry and stress. Later, after I checked into my room, the manager, Jamie, called my room to apologize. He told me he spoke with the woman who checked me in. Told me he wanted me to have a good experience at their hotel. I thanked him for the call and appreciated it. However, by then I was trying to decompress from the ordeal and still get to my appointment on time.
Loved this hotel, will definitely be back!!
It is a little off my route, but so worth it. We needed such a great stay, will definitely return again.
Very clean, comfortable, quiet, and affordable. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Quiet , And Close To Shopping Areas For Quick Food
Breakfast Was Over Too Early
Clean, good location
Threadbare sheets, 2 towels (out of 3 sets) had very large yellow stains, bad coffee, breakfast bar not good - went out for breakfast for 2 mornings as we couldn't deal with their food again
Room keys would not work the first time up. Had to return to the desk to find a "Back in five minutes" sign instead of a desk clerk while my wife waited in the hallway with our luggage.
nice breakfast bar except for the coffee taste
coffee had a funny taste, water needs to be filtered or use bottled water like we do in our room lighting in bathroom too dim, need more light for shaving, etc.
The decor is lovely
clean smell...not good
Breakfast, pool, hot tub, beds, staff.
Since no pets are allowed, we will probably not stay here again.
