The immediate surroundings aren't great, but the subway is really only a minute away, with direct connections to Times Square.

Close to subway station. There is a trash deposit in front of the rooms. A little noisy from a road and the subway behind the hotel.

Great location. Just a block from the subway. Great price. Clean, also a continental breakfast, but with limited seating. Front desk was very helpful when needing to secure a ride to the airport.

The hotel staff was always courteous and helpful, the rooms were kept well and the hotel is 1 block from the Queensboro metro which is only 10 minutes from Grand Central. It is great value for quick transport into Manhattan and better than the other hotels in lic. I would recommend the location for visitors who 'd rather spend their money on the attractions of nyc. It's clean and safe. All Hotels in the city are expensive except weekend specials. There isn't much in the neighborhood as it's in an industrial zone being recuperated. It's quiet at night but not dangerous.

The location, although it looks a little dicey, is actually fine, even at night. The subway was very close and the little store across the street had good cheesecake! The room was very small, although I understand most are in New York. It smelled musty in the room, although everything appeared to be clean. The phone in our room did not work and even though we told the desk more than once, it was never fixed.

Good quality/price rate hotel. Just next to metro stop served by several lines, therefore very fast connection to Manhattan (ride time less than 10 mins to Times Square). Clean room and friendly staff. Neighborhood is not beautiful but safe also at night Noise coming in from too thin windows. A larger breakfast room would be needed.

The kindness of the personnel, front desk and room service. Rooms were impeccably cleaned on a daily basis. Easy access to Manhattan and new China town in Flushing by subway 7, two blocks away, excellent location. Implanted in the heart of a former industrial zone, slowly replaced today by great new construction activity, obviously of residential vocation, so patience!

Location - 30 seconds from Quennsboro plaza sub station which has 3 different trains into times sq so you never have to wait long. only 3/4 stops from Centre of manhattan also so very easy to pop back to hotel drop off shopping etc. the trip takes no more than 10 minutes from hotel to Times sq. Also, we booked 6 nights at non refundable rate and as it turned out we had to change our dates - the hotel did this for us free of charge as an act of courtesy Small rooms - but still great for what I paid
