Good value, as, although not in Manhattan, is only 10 mins from Times Sq. Complimentary breakfast was a welcome surprise. Area is not the nicest, and traffic/train noise could be bothersome. |

I had nothing to compalin about during my stay. All the services where excellent and great value for money, especially compared to the broadway district. Access to public transport was very simple and straight forward. Great for a weekend break on a budget. The only problem was the local surroundings which made me a little nervous at nights and the noise from the trains if you open the windows. which |

The Comfort Inn is close to the subway which was very convenient for us since we did not have a car. Also, it is very short ride on subway to Time Square and other places on Manhatten. Finally, the hotel was very clean and we enjoyed the breakfast. |

Our stay at the Comfort Inn Long Island City hotel turned out to be a pleasant surprise. We chose the hotel based on the low price and reasonable location. While outside of Manhattan, it is only about 50m to the nearest subway station where the 7, N and W take you to Times Square in under 15 minutes. So that was really good. The room itself was neat and big enough to accommodate a truely Kingsize bed. The tv worked ok, the bathroom was nice and we got clean towels and a made bed every day. The ice machines were free and our little stash of beer cans on ice in one of the trash bins was not touched by the cleaning staff or otherwise mentioned. The room also featured a safe with a digital lock we could set ourselves The only minor disappointment was the view from the window: a scrapyard of some sort with lots of old metal junk. |

A perfect place to stay, nice and neat and comfortable, maybe just a bit small. Metro station is just a block away and downtown NY is a few stops away. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to save time and money while in NY. |

Reasonable rate. Fairly clean. Half a block to subway station. Really sketchy neighborhood, although my car was fine for the two days I stayed there. The first room smelled like wet rag -- I asked to be transferred and they provided a better room. Stayed in one of the basement rooms. Small, and can get pretty loud from noise from hallway. If I had to do it over again, i'd probably pay a bit more and stay elsewhere. |

We liked the proximity to the subway line. Going to the us Open and into Manhattan was very convenient! The fact that breakfast was included was nice and breakfast was ok. The overall location was a bit rough. We didn't feel totally safe in this neighborhood. Also, the first room we were shown was a basement room - not cool! I don't know if this was because we booked through you or not. For $10 more per night, they upgraded us to a more normal room on the 7th floor. |

Good price, free Wifi acces, free TV channels, daily cleaning and very close to subway and just minutes away from Times Square (with subway). Very noisy, there was a lot of noise coming from the buildings next to the Hotel. One was a car repair shop, and the other a scrapyard. Breakfast room only had four very small tables, so it was impossible to have breakfast. The breakfast itself was very minimal. Also some of the personnel were not friendly. |

Location was excellent for access to Manhattan as the Subway stations were so close. The hotel was basic but perfectly functional for family and business use. I would recommend it. The area was perfectly safe. The breakfast 'area' was too small to accommodate everyone who needed to use it during the morning window. Hwever, the food itself was fine as a continental breakfast. |

the hotel is just two stops by subway from Manhattan and the subway station is 50 meters from the hotel; the room was OK, not very big but clean, by the way, if you are booking the room on the first floor near the gym be prepared to have just a piece of window and see people feet:) |

Very good located hotel, just 45 min with public transportation from JFK airport. A breathtaking walk across the Queensboro bridge will take you directly into the heart of Manhattan in 20 minutes. Room had a very nice bed and was very clean. From my 6th floor room there was a wonderful view of the Manhattan skyline (and an ugly junkyard just across the street). Good breakfast, free newspapers and a very attentive staff. My second stay at this hotel and would definately go there again. |
