Location was great in the lower East Side ... lots of places to eat out and close to great vintage & thrift shops. Room clean and content of breakfast good although breakfast room only had 3 tables
Tiny Room - 4ft Beds .. but it was cheap and ok for 2 nights not suitable for a long stay as there is nowhere to put your luggage. Unpleasant smell of sewage in entrance
Location is fantastic. Around at walking distances you find old tradicional restaurants and new contemporaneous cafes and restaurants listes as one of the bests in town. Bed, shower and heating is verte good.
Breakfast is simple but the place it is served in not good. Ir is in the basement beat maintenance facilities and Vera small. In some days there were nobody to replace missing items.
Location and bed
Weird lobby smell like fabreze
Staff was not attentive or helpful. Some of the staff had attitude and not willingly ready to help.
Can't beat the location or the price. Staff very friendly and helpful. Sweeping views from our 10th floor room. Pretty good breakfast.
Some noise from neighbors, briefly.
THE ODOR WAS A MIX OF URINE AND MILDEW. GROSS! THE KEY CARD HAD TO RE CODED EVERYTIME WE RETURNED TO THE ROOM. MAKE YOUR OWN BREAKFAST IN THER BASEMENT WAS GROSS. THE BUTTER PACKETS LOOKED THEY MELTED AND WERE RE REFRIDGERATED. THEY HAS ALL THE BUTTER MUSHED TO ONE SIDE OF THE PACKAGE. AGAIN, GROSS!!
The room was nice. All the essentials. No frills. Polite staff.
The compactness of the room and the location made noise a serious issue
area and closeness to trains
windows not double glazed - bit of noise from outside late at night
Good breakfast & nice staff, rooms are small but clean and have all necesary things to make your stay comfortable.
Clean room, very courteous staff, location enabled us to experience a different NYC neighborhood
We had three in the room, but two double beds. We knew this in advance, so we can't blame the hotel, but we needed at least one queen bed! Given the price we paid, this was not a value, as other hotels opened up better rooms at cheaper rates once our time for cancelling this room had past.
Fantastic hotel for the price! Near many places to eat and near subway stops! The room was extremely clean with absolutely no odd smells! Bed was super comfy and the staff was fantastic!
The room was small, but that is expected in nyc!
staff proximity of metro station well fuctioning of the equipment
small room a bit old hotel
Cool part of the city, very friendly and helpful people at the reception desk!
Room very small. Neighbours, elevator, fridge, aircon very loud. Breakfast"room" downstairs not really a room.
Great location Very near the metro
Breakfast very basic
The staff and it was clean
The smallness of the room. It was clostrophobic
Nice location-near Chinatown and subway. Many foods and pubs. Free breakfast. The bed and pillow were comfortable.
Breakfast is value for money but everyday is the same. A little noise in the night because of outside's pub.
Location and staff
Room not clean, very basic accommodation
Very few staff so need to wait before being attended to.
very friendly staff
very loud at night, bar area
Great location Value for money Helpful Staff. I'd stay there again
The carpet around the air con was damp my entire 3 day stay. I did alert the hotel manager and hopefully this will be fixed.
Room and bathroom were clean and neat. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Room was so tiny we could hardly walk around the beds - could not stand in front of the "closet" to hang up clothes - no room. One bed had to be angled into the space. Air conditioner leaked and soaked the carpet.
Late night staff very helpful. Edward went above and beyond to help me find my way while lost in Manhattan.
they ran out of food for breakfast & it wasn't kept real clean.
Staff were friendly and polite good location
hygienic conditions dilapidated structure really bad price/quality ratio inedible breakfast
Great location (Delancey/Essex subway station is just around the corner and the whole lower Manhattan within walking distance). Rooms are very small, but clean enough and include the basic necessities. If you do not mind the general shabbiness of the public areas, occasional noise from the street and the small rooms, the hotel is excellent value for money.
