Perfect location (10 min walking to Times Square and the Empire State Building is just behind). Moreover, there is a subway station so close to the hotel (30 meters). Breakfast quite good, there are delicious donuts that the personnel are continuosly adding! There is also a PC in the reception that allows you connecting to Internet and a coffee machine, both services for free!! Any, all has been perfect. Maybe one not so important: There isn't international TV channels at the room, only American ones.

Location was great! Some staff were really nice, others were confused. The breakfast was awesome. People were very helpful with directions to were we needed to go. Love the coffe in the front!! Room 907. Room was very small but it was okay because we did not spend much time in. I am 5.3. I could not reach a mirrow in a bath room!!! It is very strange position for Shower Head.. I almost fell out of the tub, and I didn't even have a "drink". And toilet would only flush after 10 times trying.

The concierge - Matthew - was very helpful and friendly. He gave us great tips about getting around the city and where to eat. He was the nicest, most helpful person we have come across in our many trips to NYC. The facility was OLD and in desperate need of updating. Because of its age more than anything I think, the place looked, felt and smelled dirty. Also, the continental breakfast was disappointing. We didn't expect much since it was listed as a continental breakfast, but, I wouldn't think expecting skim milk and cold water was asking too much - especially for what we paid for the room. Also, we travel fairly frequently, and I have never had the experience of waiting in line at breakfast behind the housekeeping staff as they filled pockets, bowls, even grocery bags with food. I am glad that the hotel feeds the staff, I have no problem with that. When it's a busy weekend morning and there are long lines to begin with, I have a problem with waiting behind staff to get the breakfast I paid so much for. Finally, we requested a non-smoking room yet our room had two ash trays in it!

Stayed here in June 2011 and was pleasantly surprised considering the low, for NY, room cost. The room was quite large with a walk in clothes closset and large bathroom. Location of the hotel is fantastic only 10 minutes walk from both Times Square and the wonderful Bryant Park. Good breakfast and great resaurant. Staff organised a taxi for us and refused a tip- reason alone to stay here! Power to the room cut out if we used a hairdyer when the aircon was on. They said this was due to a faulty aircon unit.

I liked how close it was to Time Square as well as the Empire State Building. The room was rather small, and we booked a hotel with a King sized bed, although the bed was more like a Full size bed.

Staff were excellent and attempted to help with all my queries, we were offered advice on places to go and things to see along with maps. The Location is perfect, within walking distance of Times Square and a variety of great shopping experiences. Empire State just two blocks away and a comfortable 30 min walk to Chelsea and Greenwich Villages The facilities were fairly basic and we did have issues with the heating turning on at max and the water not being hot enough in the shower. The rooms are small and could do with being brought up to date in terms of decoration, however this is Manhatten and space is at a premium.

Comfortable bed. Room not properly cleaned. Shower did not work properly, and went cold frequently. Booked for four days, but checked out after two. Use the Hotel Metro opposite - dearer but worth it!

The room was spacious and clean. The location was very central. Paper plates and cups as well as plastic cutlery were provided at the breakfast buffet. This gave us the feeling to be in a fast food restaurant.

Considering the cost-benefit, the hotel is good. I paid a lower price comparing with other hotels nearby. It's simple, but well located, clean towels every day, good service. In addition, it has breakfast with bread, juice, donuts, milk, coffee, etc… Considerando a relação custo- benefício, o hotel é bom. Paguei um preço bem abaixo dos valores de outros hotéis da redondeza. é simples, porém bem localizado, toalhas limpas todos os dias, atendimento bom. Além, disso tem café da manhã com pães, sucos, donuts, leite, café, etc... The only question is that the floor of the room was not cleaned during all my stay. On the first day of my stay I noticed a chocolate m & m on the floor. I left it there to see if the room was being cleaned every day, but this has not happened in the six days that I stayed at the hotel o único quesito que deixa a desejar é que o chão do quarto não foi limpo em nenhum dia da minha estadia. No primeiro dia da minha estadia observei que havia um chocolate m&m no chão. Deixei lá para ver se o quarto seria limpo, mas isso não aconteceu nos 6 dias em que fiquei no hotel.

The beds were comfortable, the room was not too small, the location couldn't have been better! 1 block away from the Empire State Buiding. Access to many subway lines, always a cab available to bring you somewhere, the staff was friendly. Access to free Wi-Fi and a computer with a printer. The hotel is clean but needs some renovations, the bathroom was cold and had no heater in it. The doors inside the hotel made a lot of noise when opening and closing. Although very comfortable, this is not a luxurious hotel.
