We liked the free breakfast in the morning and the convenience of the location. We stayed at room 303. 1 - We found a men's underwear that was left behind from the previous people who stayed in that room. It was very disgusting. 2 - The tub in the bathroom took a very long time to drain. 3 - The chair was broken. |

very loud construction all night long on the street outside the hotel--it was impossible to sleep, but not the fault of the hotel. |

The Comfort Inn Manhattan is close to all interesting sightseeings in New York. The view - we had no daylight in our room. |

Friendly staff, spacious, clean and comfortable rooms, free WIFI, good location. No fitness facility and no free passes to the local gym. Two slow elevators, one which eventually wasn't operational (and of course they put me on the top floor so that it took 20 minutes to get to the lobby). Free breakfast created long, inefficient lines. No body lotion in the bathroom. |

The location was amazing. Everywhere can be easily reached by foot. It was also great that they did breakfast, most NYC hotels don't. The windows in the bedroom and bathroom do not open. We have to use the air con constantly which left me leaving with a terrible throat and chest!! |

The location was close to many subway routes which meant we could get back to our hotel quite easily no matter which area of NY we had visited in the day. Our original room facing the street on 4th floor allowed in so much street noise we could not sleep first night. An interior room was offered promptly early the next morning once the staff were alerted. It was slightly smaller but allowed us to sleep. If street-facing rooms do not have double glazing then night time demolition activity, which is what was happening nearby, can make it extremely difficult to sleep. For New York I expect it is value for money; better quality rooms were far cheaper in other large cities during same trip in the US. |

The central location was excellent for many of the city's main tourist attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the 2 porters we met. The room was extremely pleasant and all our needs were met. Our only criticism would be the noise levels from the street outside. |

Breakfast was great and the room was very comfortable. Location was excellent. We could walk to most of the major cites. Bathroom, although very clean and towels were changed daily, was rather small. |

Excellent location. Times Square is just minutes walking away. 5th Av and Herald Square (Macy's) are literally around the corner. Walking distance from Penn Station (Madison Square Garden) Room was nice and clean, comfortable bed, Wifi included, Nice breakfast arrangement. If I really have to find something negative ... plastic knives at breakfast |
