Broadway at Times Square Hotel  

My husband and I wanted to take a weekend trip to nyc to celebrate our 34th anniversary. I knew I wanted to stay somewhere close to the theater district and times square, so that we could walk to as many places as possible. As I began searching online for hotels, I looked for price and location. Comfort Inn Times Square was honestly the only affordable hotel in the area where we wanted to stay. I read the traveler reviews, and was impressed by the comments and satisfaction of all who stayed there. I booked as fast as I could! When we got to the hotel, we were not disappointed. We got there around noon, and even though check-in wasn't till 3, they had our room ready! The staff was so friendly. I had told them it was our anniversary, and they gave us a beautiful, spacious room. The comfort of the bed was amazing, too. Everything was neat and clean. We were thrilled. Location of Comfort Inn was prime! We could walk to our broadway show, museums, Times Square, etc. We also walked to a fabulous resturant on 49th street called e & e Grill. It is rated #4 in over 5,000 nyc resturants. It was unbelieveable in atmosphere, food, and service. Make sure to eat there...get reservations though. We will definately book at the Comfort Inn Times Square for our next city trip. It was an answer to my prayers for sure!

Our experience was a good one! The room was very clean and quiet. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would return.You could not ask for a better location to be close to Time Square.The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and I spent many hours trying to find an affordable,clean,hotel in this general vicinity.

Location, location, location!!! It was amazing--like 50 steps from Times Square! The room was comfortable and clean. Continental breakfast was nice, including fresh fruit, which I loved. The staff was very pleasant, but we didn't interact much. My friend and I spent three wonderful days and nights in nyc and saw three plays...all within mere blocks of the hotel! Very close.

This is not a complaint, but a description. The room is small and the bathroom is small. If you plan on spending time in the room, you may want to go elsewhere. However, my friend and I were out walking the town most of the time so the bed and bathroom were just fine. The elevator is slow, so we chose to go down the three flights almost every time. As in most older nyc buildings the stairs are narrow and unforgiving, so watch your step.

There was some issues with the name on my credit card, and the management was not flexible at all, even though payment could go through and I've never had any problems using the same cards throughout my entire us trip, including other hotels. They locked us out of our room for the 1st night cos of this. The guy named Jack promised to cover the international call to my bank to right the issue but I end up having to pay for that (usd 20+), as well as being locked out of our room again on the 2nd night, simply cos they wanted to talk to us. Locking us out of our room for 2 out of 3 nights was simply rude, especially when we paid good money for the room! Room was extremely small and the bed was sunken in. Their only saving grace was the location.

The location is great about a minute from times sqaure but still a quiet place.

The location is excellent. The staff is very polite and helpful. The hotel is a good value for New York City. The room and bath were clean and well maintained.There was plenty of hot water and the shower functioned very well.The complimentary breakfast has a wide variety of foods and is a nice time saving feature.

The room was rather small.It was very cold in the City and we found our room to be a little too cool to our liking.It was bearable but not cozy warm which would have been a welcomed feature.

Nice, clean interior. Upgraded to a king bed because we showed up early, which was nice. Everything I expected for the price. Great location too.

The phones were not easy to use. I also had issue with there being no thermostat. The room was way too hot, and I had to manage the radiator

Very nice staff, all friendly. Excellent room with very clean bathroom. The hotel had hot coffee/tea/etc available all day during my stay there, which made it a lot easier to stay warm in the winter holidays. The location could not be better. We were close to all the Broadway shows we wanted to see and also the Rockefeller Center. I would recommend this hotel a 100%!

We were in ny for dinner and a show. The hotel was in walking distance of both.

The room was small. And it was 12 degrees outside, and there was a draft coming in through the window with the air conditioner in it.
