Location, location, location!! Free wifi in the room, and staff would do anything to make your stay comfortable. The lobby and breakfast room are clean and very modern looking.
Only one elevator, which broke down for several hours. Request a lower floor room
Staff was friendly and responsive when needed
noisy room on the street
easy to check in
The location was perfect.
Location. Staff was friendly and got us a cab to airport for less than we paid to arrive. Like having the daily paper.
polystyrene cups....self service limited breakfast on paper plates....
the location just off times square was fabulous and the bed was comfy...staff were willing to help..free wi-fi.
The breakfast is awful, limited choices and never changing: the room is dismal' Only one elevator, serving guest and staff with their laundry carts. Weird key system, if you have two keys using one invalidates the other!
A few steps from Times Sq. Rooms were adequate, but some are very small. Bed was very comfortable, and it was very quiet in our room. But our kids had a crying baby next door, keeping them awake.
No day light in the room. Have to have the lights on all day in the top Pricy....agiter Miami, Orlando and Lad Vegas, this was the most expensive room and the smallest as well....
Location, cleanliness, staff....
Strange breakfast to me, but first time in US. A very boring breakfast with all the packages and all the rubbish.
Quiet and clean. Friendly staff.
See title rooms adequate quiet good shower lots of hot water
lots of trucks unloading at night/early am. very loud. pricey for the small room.
having a regrigerator and microwave was nice. breakfast was nothing to write home about. located between 6th and 7th avenue so close to lots of things.
No much choices for Breakfast
I made a reservation for 4 bed rooms, 3 deluxe double beds and one king room then I decided to cancel the fourth room because I though my two kids can sleep on the other bed. I called bookings before cancelling the fourth room to make sure my kids can stay with me in the same room (there is only one option to choose: number of adults). When we arrived we were told that our booking were canceled after checking again and again they find a reservation of two rooms but with one king bed. Eventually we were able to get 3 deluxe rooms with 1 bed in each and one king room with one room. For the forth room I paid 500 dollars extra. I think the problem in not of the hotel but rather Booking.com.
Great location and value. Very nice staff.
It was like getting to an island of tranquility and having a sense of a warm home when feeling 'drop dead tired' after experiencing not so nice surprises along the journey with almost 30 hours of travelling without almost no sleep and whole body turning into a square form after sitting for long hours in a chair. Rooms were quite, no noise from the street. The hotel is small, cute and welcoming place, a warm and stylish entrance space. Rooms were styled in a good taste with a dark wood furniture. Everything was very clean, the bathroom was also very clean with a good supply of hot water and white soft towels. There was enough electricity spots to recharge all the electronic equipment I had. Great supply of yogurts for the breakfast in the morning and other small delicious stuff. (Prepare yourself to surprises with flight companies when travelling abroad with connection in NYC: I had 12 hours of flight to NYC which arrived late, ending up with missing the connection flight, then I had to wait for another connection flight for 7 hours, then having it delayed and eventually after another 3 hour getting it canceled. Then spending another two hours trying to order the next possible flight that was only on the next day and then trying to understand how and where to spend the night, and along the way getting to a conclusion that there is no chance to withdraw the larger baggage. So there I was, drop dead tired, stuck in NYC in the stormy snow without any proper clothing...brrrrr... but at that point I also thanked GOD it was a NYC and not some other forgotten place on the globe)
We were located in the front of the hotel on the 3rd floor and there is a bit of noise that comes through from the street. The noise didn't keep us awake, but if you are a light sleeper, you may want a higher floor.
The staff was very friendly. The room wasn't nearly as small as other reviews have indicated and was very clean. The breakfast was decent and saved us some money. There is a 24 deli almost directly across which made great sandwiches for a reasonable price too. You can tell that the hotel has been taken care of and you can't beat the access to Times Square.
Staff and location
Noise from the renovation on the church next door sometimes made it difficult to sleep. This is the only negative for this property.
We loved the location! Very convenient to the subway and theaters! The staff was helpful and the bed was one of the best. We would stay here again!
Bit noisy but that's to be expected!
Location, free breakfast, staff, cleanliness
We did not have hot water on our last morning. Expressed our concern to the staff but did not receive any form of compensation. Just a "we're sorry".
Very close to everything and nice clean room.
