This is a good hotel with cleanliness. Staff of the hotel is cooperative. Breakfast is nice. The rent of the same room for initial two days was just double of the rest days.

It wasn't clear until after I checked in that the airport shuttle only operates between certain hours. So staying there was a little pointless given I had to take a taxi. Staff rather unhelpful. Rooms fine for what it is. Entrance did feel like the poor relation to the best western next door, having to go around the back didn't make one feel comfortable.

We checked in very late but the staff was extremely pleasant and welcoming, getting our stay off to the right start. Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was hearty and ranged from hard boiled eggs to fresh waffles & bagels. Hotel is next to the I-95 so driving was very convenient. Regular shuttle service to Pentagon City metro and shopping center from 7am-10pm was excellent. If you missed the shuttle and chose to cab, cost was about $10 for 3 people, not expensive. Metro ride to D.c attractions about 20-30 mins, quite close by. Hotel also had free parking and free wi-fi. Overall, it was an excellent value for money especially when compared to surrounding hotels in the same area. Hotel is far from metro, must take a cab to get to station or rely on shuttle service which can be infrequent at certain times. We waited 45 mins + as we just missed the previous one and they came every hour. Other hotels had much more frequent shuttle service. Would have enjoyed if there were some more hot breakfast items in buffet. Hotel condition a bit dated, and location hard to find. Still, excellent value for money paid.

1. Free shuttle was not available for the times that we needed it. Had to pay $40 for taxi. 2. Did not realise that there was a fee for parking.

Nothing luxurious here, but decent room with comfortable bed and convenient to airport. Biggest negative was restricted access to the lobby. There are doors on both sides of lobby that provide direct access to the parking lots on opposite sides of builidng. However, one door is locked after 6:00 P.M. requiring anyone parking on that side to walk all the way around the building to get in. This was a major inconvenience for me, as it was raining very hard when I arrived. All parking space on one side of building were taken, so after checking in, I parked on the other side. After carrying luggage through the rain to the door I discovered it was locked and I had to walk around the building. I tried knocking on the door which was located about 15 feet from front desk, but the agent didn't even acknowledge the knoking. I and my belongings were soaked. Assume this is for security, but there has to be a better alternative (access via room keys being the most obvious option). Also seemed unreasonable to impose the restriction so early in the evening. This might increase lobby security somewhat, but it decreases security of guests who have to walk around the outside of building significantly. And the desk agent could have at least informed me when of this while checking in, since we discussed how hard it was raining. Also, discovered later that price of room was $20 more than Best Western located right next door.

Very clean...professional staff. Too far from the metro station. Though the hotel does provide shuttle services thankfully, it just costs two much when you're hard pressed for time. I think this should have been mentioned by booking.com, and the hotel website, that the hotel is ~15' drive... It wasn't mentioned at either place...?

I chose to stay here on price alone. The rooms are basic, the staff is average, and the location is very inconvenient. I changed hotels as soon as prices dropped in dc.

All as described as above. The staff went out of their way to be helpful to the old folks from Maine who had never been to the city. Thanks to them it made the trip pleasurable. A small refrigerator and microwave would have added much. Also, it took almost three hours to get on the Internet, due to a narrow bandwidth or some such thing. It is our only way to keep in touch with the worrywarts at home. Once again the staff was very helpfull.

The cheapest hotel in the area, ok for its value. Has shuttles to Pentagon city metro station every half hour in the morning. Located in the middle of nowhere, nothing around. Shuttle is very crowded in the mornings and pick people up from the hotel near by as well. After hours the shuttle comes only once an hour.

The two receptionists were very pleasant and helpful. Best thing about the Inn. Improvements could be made in the room (519). The wallpaper can be repaired in a couple of places. Also there was no regular coffee, only decaf.

Not clean; house-keeping didn't make up my room; instead of the taxi I requested the fron desk called a private car that charged a lot of money - much more than reasonable or for a cab (they did this twice!); location was not close to the airport as advertised so I ended up paying a lot for cab fees; suttle that they advertise does not run between 10 pm and 6am; lighting bad in the room; printer didn't work to print boarding passes and I think it has not worked in a long time; poor computer location. Overall a dreadfull hotel. At any price.

The beds were very cozy. The staff went out of their way to keep us happy! I felt safe parking was free and conveinant. The only thing I wasnt fond about was the continental breakfast, which was a big reason why we choose the hotel started at 6:30 am. We had an early flight at 7:30 so were missed out. When I ask about receiving a togo bag with just a muffin for the long flight or opening up a tad bit early they opposed because its run by an outside company. But other than that it was a good stay!

The staff at this location is superb! Super friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to help me with my taxi situation -- they even printed my boarding passes (since my flight was super early). Can't say enough about how great the staff was (all of them too, not just one!). I stayed here because all of the hotels near National Airport were full and they advertised a shuttle service. Unfortunately, the shuttle service does not run before 6am, which is a problem if your flight leaves at 645am. Only other issue was moldy smell in the room. I am extremely sensitive to mold, so it bothered me. However, most people will probably not even notice.

The hotel was located close to an event I attended. The facility is outdated and run down. Stained carpeting and bedspread in the room looks bad. The facility is located behind another hotel with no clear entrance to the building. It was noisy.

“I really liked the cleanliness of this hotel and the courteous staff. I had a problem with the AC unit in my room and they were very quick to change the room. I was very pleased at that attention. The breakfast was very good. I have stayed at other places that offer breakfast and this hotel has by far nice selection of foods for breakfast.” Edna, Hicksville |
