The quick check in and check out, the breakfast was good. The room was clean and had the eminities that are expect, coffee maker, hair dryer, refigerator, etc..
The location is backset behind businesses off the main road, hard to find/see. The bathroom could have been bigger, since my room was a King Bedroom.
It is a great location for our visits to our children.
The halls STINK of cigarette smoke. YUK! The hall carpet is dirty and the place has a shabby look and feel.
The bed was comfortable
Carpet frayed between bathroom and entry, brass strip would fix it. Breakfast was OK but the tables could be wiped between guests. The attendant was friendly and engaging.
A great place to rest my weary bones.
One reading lamp was not operating.
Bed and pillows were great.
Main road was under major construction.
Was disappointed in the facility, for the price.
The door to the adjoining room wouldn't lock and the curtains wouldn't close.
Was quite and clean and very friendly,
Needs to upgrade carpert maybe the pool and up grade sink areas.
A nice, clean basic room. Everything worked perfectly, sinks, shower, refrigerator, A/C, lighting, TV, drapery, etc. Many expensive luxury hotels fail in this regard. Comfortable bed with choice of firm or soft pillows, excellent comforter and blankets. Desk with comfortable office chair and fast internet. Attentive and friendly staff. The included breakfast is a step above most, with eggs, sausage, waffles, and a gregarious young lady who made everyone feel at home. Located within walking distance of many stores and restaurants. I was visiting a friend in a local medical facility, and will definitely stay here again.
It was very close to home.
The decor was tired. The first room had a broken deadbolt lock and the batteries were dying in the fire alarm. The 2nd room on the 1st floor was handy cap accessable, but unattractive. The carpet tack strip near the bathroom was uncovered and I kept getting jabbed when going to the restroom. The very front of the granite sink was coming away from the sides of the sink. The toilet seat was a bit ...chewed up.
We stayed here four nights. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We were sorry we did not get to use the pool, because it looked quite inviting. We enjoyed the good choice of foods at the breakfast buffet.
There was nothing that we didn't like. Just be aware that this is not a brand new or newly refurbished facility. For instance, carpeting is older. But the place is well cared for and we would definitely go there again.
Caroline the desk clerk was very AWSOME did everything she could fir us to be able to have a wonderful experience ! Morning breakfast attendant was just as courteous !! GREAT STAFF !!
Dirt under pillows
Pool too cold
The rooms are very clean, beds comfortable. The convience of the restaurants
I did not like that there were kids running down the hall banging on everyone's doors
The beds were very comfortable. The new pillows were great. I like the option of soft of hard pillows.. I love the free breakfast-plenty of options. I chose the hotel for its convenient location to my daughter's home.
I didn't care for their only being very small soaps at the sink and nothing in the shower. I forgot to take the soap with me everytime.. The 2 story hotel does not have an elevator which is a problem for me, and I prefer staying on the upper level.
Room was musty. Was given a handicapped room on 1st for because I had a mountain bike. Room design is poor...esp bathroom door swing. Was an older hotel and looked it. Does NOT deserve a AAA rating. t $75 a nite, is overpriced.
No elevator, breakfast not very good (egg dish?), toaster did not work well.
Two things: #1 - I had inadvertently screwed up the reservation date! The young man tending the counter got it all straightened out - no prob. #2 - Next morning I was looking for ideas of what to do with our afternoon in ALB - he suggested the zoo and printed out maps to show us how to get there. Great service!
