the view was incredible, bed was comfortable
staff gave us the wrong room and became defensive when we asked for it to be fixed
Location, comfort and breakfast.
The condition of the hotel was run down and needed painted and some minor maintenance.
Stayed there for a family event. The location was perfect, but it is not a bargain.
The cost was too much.
The free upgrade to ocean view! The close location to the beach. Having breakfast on the deck.
The hotel is a little run-down.
The location of the Hotel was ideal, right on the beach, in the middle of everything. Our broken toilet was fixed quickly.
It was not a clean Hotel, not just our room but the entire public spaces. The staff in the breakfast room were rude and the front desk staff were indifferent. Ice machine was not working. There was hair and sand in our bathroom on our arrival.....
The staff was very unprofessional!!!!! We booked this vacation through Booking.com and were under the impression that we paid for the room through them. At check-in we were informed that the room had not been paid at the time of reservation and needed to be paid before we could check in. (no cancellations on the same day) My fiance' had put the room on his credit card as a gift and was unavailable at the time of check in to give the front desk manager the credit card information she needed. (She also made it very difficult for him to email this information as well and handled her correspondence with him terribly) I gave her my credit card information to use until he could be reached. All of this took place at 4:00 pm check in time with a lobby full of guests waiting to check in. The associate who was helping me was obviously new and needed constant assistance from the front desk manager who remained on the phone with xpedia throughout the whole process which ended up taking over an hour. It was not a good way to begin this vacation and was handled horribly! I will never use Booking.com again nor stay at this hotel or possibly any Comfort Inn ever again.
The location in front of the beach is perfect ! The beach is beautiful, it is not crowded, all people are very friendly. The ocean view is spectacular ! We could ear the ocean wawes at night, it was very nice to get asleep with this sound. I was able to bring my golden retriever, he loved the beach ! Dog are allowed leashe on the beach, and people around are very pet friendly. The Hotel terrace is very nice. Just a suggestion to add canopy on the terrace so that we could have breakfast there. Breakfast staff are always there to fill up and help.
My first room had problems with airconditioning, shower and toilet but when I reported thoses problems the staff offer me to change room. The second room was better with none of those problems.
Location on the beach
We had traveled to Panama City Florida two weeks prior and had stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort on the beach. The Comfort Inn's price was more expensive than in Beautiful PCB, Fl. The price was way off the chart for a double bed, Bay view room with only a very tiny frig and microwave.... No luxury at all, even the pool was tiny..... Nice staff (what few there were), but that was about it.... Parking was minimal as well. Bottom line, not worth the $price$$$$.....
Location and beach
For almost $300 per night, this place leaves a lot to be desired. Had to keep the show curtain closed with string. Toilet seat loose. One electrical outlet in bedroom and that on the lamp. Floor lamp in corner but no outlet to plug into. There was a strong order of stale smoke throughout the hotel. Elevator was dirty. Wall AC unit rattled and hardly kept the room comfortable. Windows were filthy. Major renovation needed on this aging structure.
We had to catch our charter boat at 4:50 in the morning so the staff made us a "breakfast to go" that the staff made up for us. We picked it up on our way to the boat and had a great meal on the way out to the fishing grounds. Thanks
The location was great right on the beach.
Staff was unhelpful, rooms were not just ok
location, location, location
breakfast was served with plastic cuttlery, the windows were extremely dirty which was a shame considering the view, the website did not say that bay view means no balcony and not being able to open the window! generally a very ugly building from the 70s that has not been renovated... not worth the price!!!
Location was perfect and on the beach. Breakfast was included and was good with hot food and make-yourself waffles.
Hotel is run-down and needs to be updated badly. The cost was exorbitant in regards to the amenities. I have paid $60 per night for better accommodations and facilities. $249 plus taxes and fees was robbery.
Took 30 min to check in at 1am, then our room key didn't work so we had to go back down and complain. Then moved to another floor, the ac sounded like an airplane. The tub filled up with water, when showering which was gross. We had our 20 month year old daughter with us, and it was a huge inconvenience.
Convenient to our selected activities, breakfast accommodations were delicious
Hotel was very dated, needs a facelift badly
Location of the hotel was convenient. Staff was nice and professional.
The hotel itself needs to be torn down. I don't think it's fit for human habitation. Too old and as a result smells musty. I'm not trying to be rude but that's just the reality of the situation. Some structures become too old and need to be torn down. Comfort Inn needs a new, modern facility to accommodate their guests. Had I known the condition of the hotel I would have never booked a room. I checked out after one night.
The breakfast was the typical continental style and was good. The beach acces was fine.
Oh man. There are so many things about this hotel I hardly know where to begin. When I checked in Annie was just terrible. She really should be in a profession other than hospitality. Hopefully she isn't in medical school either. The fitness room equipment was well enough but somehow no one noticed that there was no a/c in the space, even though it was beside the front desk. The pool was poor. If you have little ones you're all to familiar with the phrase: I want to go to the pool! I've seen worse, but I've seen much better. The door to my room (302) didn't close well. When locked the entire thing was loose, and wasn't much better than using some bailing wire. I could have gone to the front desk and asked for a different room I suppose, but that would have meant spending more time with Annie, and to be honest I decided that I'd rather take my chances with any criminal element that might be lurking about. The outdoor shower facility was near the pool. And as I mentioned previously it was poor. And like Annie I didnt want to spend any more time near it than I had to. The room was clean enough, and comfortable enough. I paid $226, including tax, for one night and really felt ripped off. I won't be staying at this place again unless I decide to become a psychologist, and wish to study, and explore Annie's peculiar personality.
on the beach
Wi-Fi did not always work.Carpets needed vacuuming.windows dirty everywhere
Carpet. Dirty windows and doors. Out dated in many aspects. Tacky in some areas. Parking or there lack of.
the first room we were placed in was improperly cleaned, had food on the bed and floors, second rooms porch door didn't close. dissatisfied for the cost.
The staff at the desk was very good- very helpful and friendly -- the location was excellent- oceanfront The staff promptly sent someone to clean the window and he was very nice- and friendly and did a good job--the woman at the front desk was named Katrina Owens--good customer service- can make a big difference
The cost was a little high but probably not too bad for that area The window overlooking the ocean was filthy--not cleaned at all- it was really obvious that it had not seen windex in a while- I wonder how the maids could have been in that room and not noticed it-
Oceanside, friendliness and helpfulness of front desk personnel.
General shabbiness of rooms, hallways, etc. It appears to have great need for renovation.
