the location was great. the breakfest area had plenty of choices. staff was very polite. a very excellent steak-house around the corner. one of the best.
when checking in, we found that our bed spead was dirty. when asking for another, was told that there was no spares. meaning they were using the same dirty speads for all beds. the bed in rm 306. close to the window, the base was broken. if u sit on the corner of the bed you can hear cracking. breakfest area has a bad odor. same hot food. egg patty and sauage link. pool area is not clean. rust on every metal surface. bathroom door will not close. hot tub had a color to it.
The Sales Manager is outstanding.
The bed made me ithcy
I was welcomed after a log day of driving and the attendant knew my first name! Room was nice, slept well & breakfast was excellent!
Not a thing
very clean, convenient location, decent bed
heating was loud when it came on
good value for the money. clean, recently refurbished. Acceptable breakfast. Close to good restaurants. Very helpful staff.
Parking is a little sketchy. Bathroom is tiny but usable.
Rrefrigerator, didn't use but appreciated micro wave. Same w Pool. Good breakfast. Good service on how to use waffle machine. Very good price and had the little amenities as mentioned.
Brighter paint job on walls might brighten it up. Noise of heater fan on at night.
Rooms look just as they do in the pictures on the website. Nice size room and modern looking. Clean and comfortable. The pool looked very inviting however we did not have time to take advantage of it.
It happen to be raining that weekend and at the front entrance car port the water was dripping down as you walked in so we got a bit wet. Not a huge deal. It's a bit dark in the hallways and if it was my hotel, I would modernize the front entrance a bit. Non of that would ever deter me from choosing Comfort Inn again though.
We have stayed here before and I was getting a little run down. But this year it looks like someone is trying to bring the place back to life. The staff was also very friendly.
The curtains and the carpets stink. The room still smells like old stale cigarette smoke. It seems like the owner is trying, but they really need to freshen or replace the carpets and wash the curtains.
Beds were comfortable Room was clean except shower area was gross
Rug was stained Shower area needed attention Price of room was high in my opinion
Seeing it in the rear vision mirror.
Shower was pathetic, basin tap near impossible to use & as far as the included breakfast it was terrible, we went to the supermarket and bought our own.
Not much. The truth is this location is terrible compared to the excellent Comfort Inn we visit often in North Conway, NH. It had a weird smell & was kind of creepy. The bathroom was sooo small & very old. This location needs a complete makeover. We will not be going back to Rutland, VT.
The 2 days we were there, we could't wait until it was time to leave. Not very clean & fresh at all. The Lobby was old & unkept. We were very disappointed.
Comfortable, quiet (after the fair was over). CLEAN. LOVED THE PILLOWS! I WANTED TO BRING ONE HOME BUT RESTRAINED MYSELF
Staff was very friendly and helpful. At check-in, we asked about restaurants in the area, and she suggested the steak house next door (which was great and reasonably priced) . I would definetly stay there again!
People drinking beer outside entrance of hotel noise hotel was gloomy and smelled musty
Stayed at comfort Inn at Trolley square to complete sale of home etc. Found it to be clean and comfortable.
Parking is an issue. Very little available and you are required to park in the back lot where the pavement is less than acceptable. Also this is an area where locals hang out to drink, etc. Very uncomfortable situation. the rooms need to be updated, a little shabby.
Continental breakfast was good and had a many choices.
The carpet in our room was wet. Lighting was poor in the hall ways. There were fleas that I killed when they landed on the window. All this was reported to the front desk when we left. She did make note of the problems. They did not offer us any kind of a discount if we were in the area again.
Staff were very helpful.
Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, able to advise on places to eat/shop. The room was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable, the convenience of a fridge and a microwave was welcome. We noticed an indoor pool but did not have enough time to get in.
There was nothing about the hotel itself that we did not like, we just didn't care for the town itself much. It was perfect for spending the night while passing through but we would not want to stay in Rutland longer than one night.
Good breakfast. Room was clean.
The room was a bit noisy during the night with the sound of other guests.
Good location. Nice area. Staff friendly and informative.
Close to my final travel destination.
Room had musty smell, noisy neighbors.
The rooms were nice, the bed was comfortable, the tv had a lot of channels, the wifi was a good speed, the bathrooms were clean.
The staff member that was working at the front desk was extremely rude and unhelpful with providing directions and information. He also allowed a dog of the leash to roam around the front desk which is extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate for those who are allergic to dogs.
The comfort and value
No help from staff when trying to get in the door on arrival with luggage. Could have had someone hold the door open, very awkward.
