Walking distance to Turner Field
The name of the hotel had not changed so it was confusing
Only one elevator working and there was construction going on
Close to freeway and ballpark!
Unless you there for a game there is nô reason to be there!
location. went for a braves game and stadium is right across the street. we walked and was there in 10 mins
parking. lot is also used for ball game parking. can get a little tight
Very very comfortable beds with soft pillows. Amazing 2 nights of sleep. Rooms are very spacious with fridge, microwave, coffee maker and big storage. Strong walls and high ceiling. Great breakfast. Free parking. Outdoor swimming pool. 15 mins drive from bars and restaurants.
There was no air conditioning on in the reception area for one night and a day during really hot time.
Convenient, comfortable, economic. Staff makes you feel at home. Lisa was great.
The area was a little down, but it did not bother us for the purpose of sleeping a couple nights there.
The rooms were modern and very nice. . Access to the rooms were from the inside and not outside. The breakfast was pretty good.
The fact that they didn't change the name of the hotel on the outside. It still says Comfort Inn. Also the neighborhood doesn't look the greatest and if you want to go to the pool we had to leave a can in the door so that we could get back inside from the back or it would lock you out.
Hotel location is not the best part of Atlanta but is convient to turner field. Outside of hotel looks run down so I was suprises by the nice beds and cleanliness of the room. Only bad thing is the air conditioner was so loud it kept waking me up. Annoying!
The room keys never worked nor did the elevator or ac. Got the wrong room too.
All of the ladies were really nice & was more than happy to answer any questions I had.
We had serious doubts at first but our 2 day stay was just fine. Good breakfast. Powdered eggs not too go good. If you are going to a Braves game this is the place. Lose the comfort inn sign. We were not sorry we stayed and would go back. Friendly staff. Only 2 miles to downtown. We walked it and enjoyed it.
Change the eggs to real eggs or better quality product. Put up a sign with the correct name of the hotel.
Perfect location. Clean room. Comfy beds. Great cable and wifi. Friendly staff at front desk. Excellent hot water and water pressure. Mini-fridge in room is very convenient and a decent size.
Recently remodeled bathrooms were unfinished. Tile floor was still dusty. Sheetrock had unpatched holes. Exposed wires above sink lighting. Toilet paper holder fell out of the wall. The effort was there to make it nicer, but it just needed to be finished.
Asked for additional blanket desk clerk didn't have access. Vending machines ate my money.
there were upgrades evident in the reception/loby area. Beds were comfortable.
Common areas like elevators and halls were worn and it also seems that there was limited staff to clean. The hall outside our room remained littered durining our 2 day stay but the rooms were tended.
Price ane amenities
The location had easy access from I-85, and the free breakfast was great. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious.
The marquee for the hotel displayed Comfort Inn and that was very confusing when I was looking for Grant Park Hotel. The parking lot lighting was not well.
We love the comfort of the room.We liked the price of the room.
The breakfast was great all the days I stayed there. Waffle maker eggs and bacon and sausage. The sausage tasted a little different then im used to but they also had ceral milk and Orange juice my favorite. A nice tv. And the bed was super comfortable.
The tub looked dirty though it might have been clean. The ac units were dusty the carpet looked a little run down. It was dusty throughout the room. The iron didn't work. We turned it in and they were supposed to bring another one up but never did. And after we checked out they charged of for the iron saying that we took it with us. A charge of 25 dollars showed up in my account before we left atlanta for an iron that didn't Work. So after a couple of calls I got it fixed. The kicker is the girl that charged us for the iron was the one we turned it in to. There is a 50 dollar fee that is mandetory when you check that they place on hold until you check out. Which dosn't end up back in your account for 5-10 business days. There isn't direct access to public transportation. So get ready to spend money on cabs.
I love the way the treat my kids and I the help out with if find place around the city they are fun and funny. But posted of all the are a blessing.
Pros: The staff were very nice. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.
Pool was not functioning. We had to use the pool in the hotel adjacent to ours. I believe this to be a temporary issue. Wifi was very slow.
Comfortable beds, price was cheap
Roaches were in my room, customer service is horrible, we moved rooms 4 times, customer service was not attentive, far away from everything, hotel is in a bad neighborhood, hotel is smelly and dirty, bad elevators and HUGE ROACHES
Location to venue attended, price & staff was responsive. The restaurant near by was great as well
My bath tub was not clean when reviewed room & had request cleaning.
Loved the hotel. Clean, large rooms, spacious, great breakfast. We were given a handicap room so there were no counters in the bathroom and little place to put any toiletries. BUT, plenty of towels, great beds, refrigerator, microwave... all in all, A++ AND right across the street from Turner Field!
with all that is good, it is hard to fault sluggish Wi-Fi. Definitely not a deal breaker
