The hotel has gone under some remodeling, some areas still need attention but overall it was a good value for the money. We were in town for the Hot Chocolate Run and the proximity to the start was great. We will stay again next year as long as the price stays reasonable
Elevator was a little shaky and the grout in bathroom could be redone. Halls had a little stale smoke smell but the hotel is now smoke free.
Easy to go to city centre by Bus. All facilities are excellent!
Even though Turner Field Stadium and the bus stop are right in front of the hotel, it is difficult to go out at night using the public transport.
I like the breakfast The free W-Fi Is was nice
The room down the hall was smoke out & I had student that didn't need to be around that
The location was good and the staff were helpful.
The hotel name (Comfort Inn) on the bldg. does not match the hotel reservations of Grant Park. We, and friends who met us there, drove past the hotel several times looking for the name "Grant Park Hotel".
comfort and cleanliness
everything was perfect.
Southern hospitality at its best!
Water pressure a little low.
A quiet place close to main way
A little far to find delicious
Great place for the price. Front desk very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great!!
The bed was comfortable
The room had a lot of damages. The ottoman was stained and there were roaches in the room. The toilet paper had not been changed and the shower curtain was broken so we couldn't close the curtain to shower. The tub wasn't clean, it was just a mess. This was my worse stay ever.
I love the location and the cost. Perfect for what I needed.
However, there was hair all over the bathroom. In the shower. In my towel!! Pretty gross.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Room was comfortable and large.
I like that location was convenient
The aesthetics of the building
Room was ok, breakfast not very tasty, unfortunately.
Extremely unsafe location!!! We were warned many time by everybody not to even think about going by foot around or to the city center. Very unsafe neighborhood!!!
I liked the breakfast set up and the lobby set up
The elevators are scary and one was being repaired. The door opens and you see the elevator drop into place. It was funny because other guests said the same thing and everyone was using the stairs
Spacious rooms, large comfortable beds. Good size flat screen TVs. Plentiful parking.
Everything else. Facility is completely runned down. Delapidated exterior and landscaping. Hotel staff tried to overcharge me for the room. Two elevators, one working but in bad condition that I was afraid to use it (my room was on 6 floor). Breakfast buffet was an absolute joke, stale collection of junk food, simply gross. How this hotel earned three stars is beyond me, never again...
Best breakfast and great deal
The customer service was excellent. The staff was friendly and made me feel at home.
They were in the process of renovating the hotel during my stay.
Great price for Atlanta. Only 3 miles from our downtown destination so uber was about $6 each way
Only 1 restaurant within walking distance - and the neighborhood was not the best
Leaving the hotel
Where do I start? 1. Reception sometimes not attended. 2. Lie about shuttle to trade fair 3. Tepid shower 4. Inadequate breakfast and loud TV 5. Keys to room sometimes do not work 6. Unapologetic staff 7. Air con mysteriously comes on in the night 8. Random cleaning 9. Noisy rooms 10. Broken furniture in room
The was very helpful. They helped with getting my taxi on a daily basis and always had a ready smile.
The hotel is in major need of a face lift!! Elevator was rickety, bathrooms dated, water was on the rusty side when water flow started. Felt safe in the building but would have never gone out for a walk.
Easy to get downtown, lighted parking lot, comfy beds, WiFi, and free breakfast.
It was in an area where there was only one restaurant, no choices with out going downtown into that craziness. It looked like they were still making improvements to the hotel, some minor work needed to be finished. Overall, ok for the price. I would stay again.
Location... Close to the Georgia World Congress Center. Breakfast
Arrive on Jan 10 for an award show, waited 30 minutes to check in. I was in a hurry and requested early check in 12. Key machine wasn't working had to wait for staff to go upstairs to let me in room. Was locked out with no key after the show 2 am waiting to get staff to open my room. Worst experience. They didn't even offer a discount for all the trouble and inconvenience they put me through
Friendly staff, good breakfast choices, comfortable room, reasonable rates
Location of hotel, had to use bus not the best route especially at night. Prepare to pay for taxi or drive for comfort and safety. Although I used buses and trains to get in/out of city and surrounding locations whilst carrying luggage wouldnt have felt safe at night or at some bus stops during day. Not near Marta train only bus.
Friendly staff and free breakfast.
Intermittent wifi and problems with my room key card programming.
