The facility was filthy, the staff was unprofessional and rude. The floors were so nasty my white socks were almost black when I crossed the room. The blankets were not washed, they had stains and holes in them. The tub had black and brown mold in it. Even the windows and bed shams were covered with a grey mold! The room smelt like an old wet basement. I could go on forever about how disgusting the place is. Even though I paid less than 50 dollars a night, I felt I had over paid. I would not recommend.
I liked the location of the facility. It was close to everything
When we got there we was given the keys to a room with no handle so we couldn't get out then the breakfast on the first day only had only bread available no cereal, the pool was out of action, I wouldn't call this the wow resort.
The location was good very central.
Room lighting or total lack of lights in the entire room
Not much of anything
Seemed like a few seedy guests might be staying there long tern?
Very old and used hotel and not very clean....I schould say its dirty. The breakfast is poor. And unrelieble.....I asked if it was okay to check out a day before and if I could have my money back for this night. I had to clear it with Booink.com - I call them and they confirm with the reception. Its okay. I get a written confirmation from Booking.com with the new price. At the check-out I ask for a factura, but at WOW resort the say it has been sent to me. Here one month after the check-out the hotel have still not given me my money back.
The price and the bed
room door propped open, filthy bathroom with hair everywhere, toilet was disgusting, carpets were filthy and sticky, housekeeping had no wash clothes or towels available and were using cleaning products brought from home!
The front desk staff was rude, the room was dirty (stained carpets, dirty toilet, leaking shower faucet, leaking mini refrigerator, worn/chipped paint, dirty ceilings) and we got locked in the room for over 25 minutes because when we first got into the room the door closed behind us and there was no door handle on the inside (locking us in) and when we tried to call the front desk it was constantly busy, when we finally got ahold of someone it took maintenance 15 minutes to get there. "Breakfast" was a joke that consisted of toast, cereal and terrible coffee. The "free wifi" couldn't be connected to for the first day and then took over 5 minutes just to load the Google homepage.
The location was great and the price was unbeatable.
First we were told could check in early by stay then when we get there they dont have a room for us and we had to sleep in van. Second the room looked like there was some kind of water damage bc the bottom of dressers and mini frig had water mark so was not able to use dresser. Closet door would not open. Front door would not close all the way so light shine thru the hugh crack. No ice tray. Only 1 ice machine working in the whole place. Mold on bathroom walls. When turning on shower handle fell off. All around bad stay will not stay here again and no good customer service. When checking both in and out no one at front desk had to call from our cell phones to get help.
Only thing we liked about this place is location. Only 5 minutes from universal.
One staff member at front desk, an hour to sign in! Extremely dirty rooms, hair on toilets, and in shower! Basically everything, rude reception!
Location only thing going for it!
just very dirty all the hotel needs good clean
nothing we will never go again
- The hotel is not very well run, which an employee even told us. They do not seem to know if rooms are already booked or if they are even ready for guests. - Water damage in the room we got, hotel staff we spoke to did not seem to care. - Breakfast is nothing more than bread and butter/jam, cereal and some not too appetizing Danish pastry.
- Very close to Universal studios (about 3 km.) Best aspect of the hotel. - Comfortable bed - Microwave in room - Price was really cheap - Some staff was really helpful and nice, while others didn't seem to care.
Just a horrible hotel
I booked a reservation with wow Resort. Prior to my arrival I called 3 times to make sure my room would be available I called the first time when I first booked it back in February I called the second time a week before the arrival date and I called the day of my arrival date I was told my room will be ready after 3 o'clock on Friday March 20th. I arrived at 9 p.m. March 20th and my room was given away.the man who wait on me was high on cocaine I know this because he told me so and that he was from Brazil and that was okay. I was told that I had to check in at the Metro resort.I was also told I would have all my accommodations such as a fridge microwave andpool. when I arrived at the Metro I did not have the accommodations.I spoke to Scott the gm at the wow and he told me I would have them. I did not receive them till the next day.and the pool was inconvenient times because the YMCA was closed when I was back at the hotel. at 11 p.m. Friday I drove back to wow resort because my debit card was charged twice. when I arrived the Brazilian cokehead was having an altercation with another guest using derogatory terms toward the guest referring to his sexual orientation and threats of bodily harm. Scott came out to have his employee go in the back room and told me to call my bank which I couldn't until the next day due to the hours so I could have my money released back into my account.I called him Saturday on conference with my bank to have my funds released but he was unavail for my phone calls. I was unable to get my money back until Tuesday so I spent the whole weekend without my money. now at the Metro when I arrived and talk to the front desk about my fridge and microwave I was told I cannot have it until Saturday. when I arrived Saturday night from my day at the park housekeeping came and left me no towels.I call the front desk but they were too busy to bring them up and ask for me to go down there.
Bathroom needs updating, but still functional.
Centrally located made travel to Disney, Convention Center and Premium Mall and Universal a breeze.A new Wawa is opening across the street. Room location, for handicap parking excellent. Great room rate.
No refrigerator in my room.
The staff was great. Facility was decent, nothing fancy. They could REALLY update the pool furniture.
Dirty, just 1attendant on front desk for a huge hotel, bad maintenance of lamps and equipment (micro-oven; sink), no security, no exhaust can on bathroom, toys that take your coins (candy machine; token changer), expensive convenience store.
The young girl on the check in was rude and lacked the quality needed to give the hotel it's real status, she needs to learn how to cope with pressure if she is to pursue her career in hospitality.
Comfortable matress Secure feeling
Room wasn't very clean , I had to buy windex wipes and clean my own mirrors and surfaces, and my white socks turned black from the dirty carpets. The walls need painted bad. I was also was locked out of my room because the battery or electronics didn't work, they had to break into my room to let me in . Master key or Maintenance keys didn't even work, this was late night and I needed some sleep to go to the Airport the next morning.
just needs repair and more cleaning.our room leaked water when you flushed toilet.other than that it was ok just outdated
location most staff and parking
Staff, Value for money
There was no in-room wi-fi and only a few tv stations. The breakfast was just cereal, toast and Danishes with powdered cream for the coffee. The loud pool music played ALL NIGHT LONG.
Location was central, nice pool area.
