Location only thing going for it!
One staff member at front desk, an hour to sign in! Extremely dirty rooms, hair on toilets, and in shower! Basically everything, rude reception!
nothing we will never go again
just very dirty all the hotel needs good clean
- Very close to Universal studios (about 3 km.) Best aspect of the hotel. - Comfortable bed - Microwave in room - Price was really cheap - Some staff was really helpful and nice, while others didn't seem to care.
- The hotel is not very well run, which an employee even told us. They do not seem to know if rooms are already booked or if they are even ready for guests. - Water damage in the room we got, hotel staff we spoke to did not seem to care. - Breakfast is nothing more than bread and butter/jam, cereal and some not too appetizing Danish pastry.
Just a horrible hotel
I booked a reservation with wow Resort. Prior to my arrival I called 3 times to make sure my room would be available I called the first time when I first booked it back in February I called the second time a week before the arrival date and I called the day of my arrival date I was told my room will be ready after 3 o'clock on Friday March 20th. I arrived at 9 p.m. March 20th and my room was given away.the man who wait on me was high on cocaine I know this because he told me so and that he was from Brazil and that was okay. I was told that I had to check in at the Metro resort.I was also told I would have all my accommodations such as a fridge microwave andpool. when I arrived at the Metro I did not have the accommodations.I spoke to Scott the gm at the wow and he told me I would have them. I did not receive them till the next day.and the pool was inconvenient times because the YMCA was closed when I was back at the hotel. at 11 p.m. Friday I drove back to wow resort because my debit card was charged twice. when I arrived the Brazilian cokehead was having an altercation with another guest using derogatory terms toward the guest referring to his sexual orientation and threats of bodily harm. Scott came out to have his employee go in the back room and told me to call my bank which I couldn't until the next day due to the hours so I could have my money released back into my account.I called him Saturday on conference with my bank to have my funds released but he was unavail for my phone calls. I was unable to get my money back until Tuesday so I spent the whole weekend without my money. now at the Metro when I arrived and talk to the front desk about my fridge and microwave I was told I cannot have it until Saturday. when I arrived Saturday night from my day at the park housekeeping came and left me no towels.I call the front desk but they were too busy to bring them up and ask for me to go down there.
Centrally located made travel to Disney, Convention Center and Premium Mall and Universal a breeze.A new Wawa is opening across the street. Room location, for handicap parking excellent. Great room rate.
Bathroom needs updating, but still functional.
The staff was great. Facility was decent, nothing fancy. They could REALLY update the pool furniture.
No refrigerator in my room.
Dirty, just 1attendant on front desk for a huge hotel, bad maintenance of lamps and equipment (micro-oven; sink), no security, no exhaust can on bathroom, toys that take your coins (candy machine; token changer), expensive convenience store.
Comfortable matress Secure feeling
The young girl on the check in was rude and lacked the quality needed to give the hotel it's real status, she needs to learn how to cope with pressure if she is to pursue her career in hospitality.
Room wasn't very clean , I had to buy windex wipes and clean my own mirrors and surfaces, and my white socks turned black from the dirty carpets. The walls need painted bad. I was also was locked out of my room because the battery or electronics didn't work, they had to break into my room to let me in . Master key or Maintenance keys didn't even work, this was late night and I needed some sleep to go to the Airport the next morning.
location most staff and parking
just needs repair and more cleaning.our room leaked water when you flushed toilet.other than that it was ok just outdated
Staff, Value for money
Location was central, nice pool area.
There was no in-room wi-fi and only a few tv stations. The breakfast was just cereal, toast and Danishes with powdered cream for the coffee. The loud pool music played ALL NIGHT LONG.
staff seemed friendly and helpful. price was excellent. location was good. easy to get around.
rooms not clean. had to have some type of shoe on at all times. not at all updated.
Wow was the cheapest hotel in International Drive area for a single traveler, but a room with one single bed would be cheaper than 2 queen size bedroom. Location is excellent for the park circuit. Cleaning was good, quiet place with TV, AC, mini fridge, and microwave.
Wi-Fi didn't work on the room, just on the lobby. Microwave didn't had a dish, but this wasn't a problem anyway. Free shuttle is not for all parks, just Disney and Universal, but it's not hard to get a bus to Sea World, or Busch Gardens. Breakfast is too early, at 9:30 am there is nothing more to eat.
The microwave Rm. was not far from the car and the staff for the most part was nice.
The refridgerator could barely hold a six pack of soda. The floor was filthy. The water dripped constantly in the shower. The tub was so slippery that I had to put a towel in the tub to keep from falling.. The door would not lock. People outside our door fighting. Tried calling desk no one ans. Our phone kept ringing all hours day and night.
I was completely scared to stay here honestly from the reviews I read. Upon arrival all worries were gone! They were renovating and updating but I was completely satisfied with my stay . The beds are really comfortable! ! At least mine was!!
My microwave was all rusted in the bottom ...they aren't that expensive to replace
the elevator worked
imagine what you think a dirty one star hotel would be then be prepared to lower your standards
The toilet was loose, fridge was small, the brekfast was poor, dirty outside,
Nothing to write in this space
Staff needs extensive training ( we were booked into an occupied room). Desk staff more interested in attractive guest signing in than servicing waiting guests. Wall paint peeling, bathroom door would not latch, ceiling repairs appeared dingy. Carpet felt dirty ( left our shoes on).Pictures on line do not represent the room we had. Old TV with poor picture. Never again.
