Excellent location, helpful and friendly staff
May 17, 2015
No internet. Broken elevator. Keys did not work, repeatedly. Sewer smell in the elevator lobby.
May 17, 2015
Suite was little small, but adequate if you are not going to be in it much. No microwave was strange. Would have been better than a stove. Breakfast was not that great and way too crowded.
Convenience. Central location. Room was clean.

The staff was very not happy and it showed.

Amazing deal. The staff were incredibly accomodating, the free breakfast was an unexpected perk, and the room were clean and comfy.

Pictures indicated that suite would include 2 queen beds as well as a living room with a fold out couch. In reality, it was a studio-style room with no couch, which posed a problem for our group of travelers which required a third bed. Due to "code restrictions" they were unable to accommodate our request for a cot, so one of our party had to sleep on the floor.
GREAT location and a great view of the Tribune building and Millenium park from the room. Everything was adequate, but I'm glad we selected the hotel for the price rather than the quality, or else we would have been disappointed.

Two separate outlets in the bedroom did not work. Three bugs found (alive) in room. Staff was informed and very apologetic. Elevator broke down during visit, however, it was repaired quickly.
Great location and staff. Large room.

My only compaint, was plumbing issues. We had to call maintenance two days in a row for two separate toilet issues. However, they responded promptly to both issues.
The front desk was unbelievably attentive! The rooms were clean and very comfortable. There was a lot of space separating the bathroom from the kitchen/bedroom, which accommodated privacy needs.

The wifi connection was awful - constantly dropping out or not available - hard for doing business. Also, was pretty horrified by polystyrene plates for breakfast, totally unsustainable. If you're compelled to use disposable table ware, at least make it recyclable, and provide the means to recycle. I'd rather eat off ceramic though.
Staff were fabulous and the location was perfect for where my conference was. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Being close to Michigan Avenue makes the hotel a bit noisy. However, you get used to it very quickly
The rooms are large. Having a kitchen in the room is great.

The breakfast choices are ok...room for improvement there.
Excellent location. We had a room on the 20th floor with marvelous views of the city. This hotel is absolutely a winner with us!

My room was on the back side of the bldg so the view wasn't good
The proximity to popular tourist attractions and bus lines to access others not close by
April 12, 2015
Kitchen cooker unusable. Very old decor and definitely needed painting on woodwork. Water not hot enough. Windy night so next door construction banging constantly. Saturday breakfast poor.WiFi flaky
Easy walk from airport train station. Close to shops, Art Institute and river. Spacious room. Dryer useful as we got pretty wet walking in the rain. WiFi good on first day. Breakfast cheese omelettes and porridge welcoming

The wifi was a little weak. It didn't have a sign on the front which made it difficult to find.
We had a great vuew of the city. This was especially nice because we were there on St. Patrick's day weekend. We could see the river turn green from our room. The staff were very accommodating. The room was spacious and comfortable. The continental breakfast was great, too.
