The room was cozy and spacious. The bed was comfortable. There was a provision for tea/coffee and microwave in the room just incase
The staff was not so friendly
Spacious clean room, bathroom was very clean and the ac worked well. This hotel is not in new york but has a regular shuttle service(from all hotels around) to times square ($7 and $12 for return), Breakfast timings are good and fair. Lady at the reception is very helpful. the road on the left of the hotel is filled with garages or depots and there is a la fusca restaurant near the entrance. subways, wendy's at walkable distance on the right(towards lincoln tunnel). If visiting jersey, will definately stay again!
Nothing bad just a note: - It's about 20-25min by bus to the times square with no traffic. Make sure you book a return when you take the shuttle so they can plan and get 2 buses if required or you might have to stand all the way to the hotel (definately a no-no if you have kids)
Large rooms, very good beds, breakfast included, nice staff, opportunities for shuttle to Broadway/41st street every day ($12 roundtrip)
Could have wished some other things in the breakfast such as eg. cheese, other types of jam or cold cuts. We had a room with kitchenette and we missed some plates, cutlery and pots and pans. An ideal could be that it was possible to rent that as an extra package.
Hotel rooms are clean and comfort. Breakfast is good timewise and typewise.Staff are kind and helpful.
Hotel is in Jersey and you will stuck in traffic for minimum half an hour if you plan heading toward NYC. No much restaurant or attractive site around it.They do provide bus to Time Square but isn't free. The bus it self some time is a disaster. No shuttle from or to JFK airport.
We stayed there for two nights with a 17month old baby, having a microwave in the room was a plus point. Room was big enough and comfortable bed too. Breakfast staff was very helpful. Overall good stay.
Hospitality. I'm a Asian foreigner. The accountant karuna always gives me a good information and tried to show her hospitality whenever she saw me. other same level accommodation did not give me such a hospitality. The best thing was good location to go New York.
The entrance to Inn was little bit hard to find at night. So I suggest to install sign with good showing.
Complimentary breakfast Laundry facilities
Safe didn't work in room. Got changed to another room and safe didn't work!
The hotel was very clean and up to date. The staff was lovely and served breakfast every morning. Just a short walk to the bus to the city. I would recommend to anyone trying to save some money while traveling to NYC. We were very pleased with this hotel.
Room was comfortable. Great breakfast. Shuttle was fun, convenient and dependable.
Being from upstate NY, we are not familiar with the area. We were touring NYU with our daughter. With hotels in the city being very expensive we wanted something close by just outside the city. The hotel was very clean, very comfortable beds. Staff were extremely helpful with travel to and from the city. Going so far as to give us a highlighted subway map to help us navigate our way.
Great customer service
not having access to your room, unannounced, even when your bills have not expired.
The usual expansive suites and amenities CS is know for. This was one if the few hotels in the area that did not have any bedbugs reported by previous visitors.
The street in front has a concrete barrier in front and you cannot make a left turn into the lot. My GPS brought me in on the wrong side and had to find a pullout (not easy in this area) and reset it. If you use a GPS to guide you, be sure you approach so the hotel is on the right side. The speeding traffic right in front of the hotel is nerve rattling.
1. Shuttle to Times Square (about 15$) very convenient location for dual purpose - Manhattan and NY by car 2. Great Argentine restaurant neighbor to the hotel 3. Nice and clean hotel
1. Extremely slow Internet
The staff was very nice. We were at a wake and didn't get to the hotel until after 11. They were very accommodating and processed us quickly. Under the circumstances it was very helpful.
Check out was a little slow as we had time constraints. But overall I give them a A.
The staffs were helpful and the breakfast was great; the room was very clean and big.
I can't think of any thing.
Breakfast very nice, good sleep, staff very nice and helpful, not far from New York.
Nothing for now
After a long day enjoying New York it was great to come back to a clean hotel with comfortable rooms and a great sleep. The price was reasonable and the breakfast provided an adequate start for the day.
The greatest draw back was the location. We arrived at Penn station and were not able to find a taxi that would take us to New Jersey to our motel, which created some extra stress at 11pm. after a long travel day. The motel offered a shuttle once you were there for city exploring, but the pick up from New York at the end of the day left you wondering if there would be room on the bus as not everyone was able to get a ride back at their planned time even though a reserved return time was arranged at drop off.
Nice location, near the Lincoln Tunel Park and Ride which is the best way to get to Manhattan (12 minutes bus ride with buses passing each 15 minutes and dropping you at Port Authority).
The hotel is near the highway and it is not so quiet (I woke up some times with the trucks and motorcicles noises). The shuttle to Manhattan is expensive and with very strict schedule (1 per hour and you have to pay more to come back in the last trip which is at 11pm)
The room space
I was giving a price of $566.00 plus taxes @ 15% which equals 650.90 my card was charged $700.00 the math doesn't add up. I stayed here before ... Great experience this time not so much. I will be contacting you guys and BBB for some answers. The GM promised to call me back and only called once. I am still waiting.
The breakfast was a great way to start the day. The shuttle bus option to NYC was a great convenience.
The room was a king suite, very comfortable bed and sofa. We felt very safe and we slept well. Had a nice little restaurant called La Fusta next door which was convenient. The Hotel Manager was very nice. They have a shuttle that takes you to Times Square and picks you up for only $7 per person. The hotel was close to catch the Ferry rides to NYC/
The only thing that I would comment on and it is a little thing is that the coffee pot lid was missing so the water sat inside the brewer area, and the coffee would not brew right. I just went down stairs to get my coffee.
Hotel was spotless... Room was large and the beds were very comfortable! The bathroom was also very large and nice. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
The shuttle service into Manhattan was not very organized and you never knew what vehicle you would be in. It stops at a few other hotels so it takes a while.
Not a high price for being close to NY, and we take the shuttle bus to Time Square the fare being fair. Staff are friendly and breakfast is good.
I booked a room with a kitchenette and presented them the printed confirmation, but the hotel insisted booking.com made a mistake of the price and I had to talk to the website in the evening myself. So we couldn't cook at all!! Whose fault?? Environment being poor and industrial like, and driving is very confusing and difficult in that part with lots of bridges and one-way road.
We arrived early, our room was not available due to someone leaving their luggage, upgraded to another room, it was beautiful! Staff was helpful & friendly.
Would like have seen a little more for breakfast.
