There was a dirty coffeemaker, towels so old they felt cracked, no living room or breakfast area, no personality of the attendant, who had poor language skills.
convenient location for trolley, food, and shopping. beautiful street!
I can't think of any thing negative about the guest house.
Position is great! The area is nice and quite. Staff is friendly and professional.
It is clean but facilities seem a bit old and to cheap. Same for the bathroom.
The hotel was close to major shopping areas and restaurants.
The cleaning staff brought a child with her and the child kept me awake with his screaming and yelling. The toilet seat was rotting and molding. The shower was dirty, and I found several bugs in the bathroom during KY stay.
We enjoyed out stay. Fantastic location and was exactly where we had wanted to stay on the trip to Boston. Comfortable.
Smaller than we were expecting.
The bed was terrible-- old, lumpy and a bad surprise in a room costing $280 a night. The TV instructions were for some other room and did not work in this room at all.
The view was great from the pool house.
I arrived at the hotel on my own, with 4 suitcases. The man at the reception helped me with all my luggage and was very helpful when I asked him questions about the area. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
The linen was not changed on a daily basis. As I was there for only two nights this really was not a problem, however it may be for a longer stay.
Very good location!!!! The T is very close and the area is really good. Free wifi!
The bathroom is nicely renovated but our room was a little narrow, and the bed sheet was a little bit old....otherwise everything was fine!
- Commodities (microwave, dishes, coffee machine); - Clean room; - Nice staff; - Nice location.
-Wi-fi requires authentication every 20 minutes; - My room was on the 4th floor and there was no elevator (heavy bag) but the front desk lady helped me carrying it to the top.
The location is good, and the room is big and clean.
The only thing I dislike is that there is no elevator...
Our rooms were clean. free wifi a plus.
Be ready to add $36 a day to your costs. There is no arrangement with a parking lot which was a bit of a distance. No elevator and a winding stair with the door to the hall awkwardly located was a little tricky.
Location and neighbourhood.
Internet is very spotty.
The Commonwealth Court Guest House is very well located in an area with lots of things to do/eat/see.
Microwave was not working and they didn't help me when I asked for it. Had to figure out myself how to reset it to make it work.
It was the cheapest offering, yet didn't skimp on amenities or service. Think champagne taste on beer budget.
It wasn't available more often.
Poor wi-fi connection.
All the rest
They don't have an elevator !
Friendly guy at front counter who kindly took our luggage up to our room, also very knowledgable and gave us good information about the area. We loved the fact that we were so close to everything and just loved Boston..will be back.
Nothing except for one thing which was a lift would have been good as we were on the 3rd floor with lots of steps especially with luggage but didn't find it too bad even so.
Size of the room, great location. Charming brownstone house.
nice location in the heart of the city easily available for shops
mattress sheet was not clean. daily cleaning of sanitation service was not ideal, (bath cabin,Toilet). WiFi was not easily available
Great location. Quiet room with a street view. Friendly staff.
Great location, friendly staff, clean.
Was visiting during end of July when the weather was warm and humid, and the room was also humid despite air condition.
Ambience , individuality , small quaint place , let's one enjoy the local pace of life.
Lack of ingredients for tea / coffee in room ... Kitchenette is there , but this much van also be provided for
Very dull.. Feels like a hostel and not an hotel.. Very narrow and doesn't feel fresh and not well aireated
