staff friendly, helpful
"dumpy " room used tissue found under mattress, lamp shades stained, one bulb out easy, inexpensive fixes.
Good shower head. Location was good.
Person checking us in was neither friendly nor personable. Bed was very uncomfortable(feel the springs). Couldn't control the heat, air conditioner made screeching noises.
ZERO!!! Except maybe it is community minded there. Looked like they offered breakfast to the homeless people.
Everything!!! Bedding was dirty, had to take pillow cases off, quilt dirty, sheets clean but stained!! WiFi was not secure, couldn't use. Breakfast was disgusting, didn't touch it!! Didn't sleep in case I touched the blanket which was ripped and worn. We should have checked room before paying as it did look dodgy!!! Could go on...................!!
Staff was friendly. Close to attractions, restaurants, continental breakfast included in budget price, etc.
No smoking room smelled STRONGLY of smoke. Mattresses sounded of plastic so every move was amplified.
Lumpy bed. Air conditioner made loud noise
room was cold and dirty. beds were terrible. bathroom was nasty. i've resolved to never stay in any motel that isn't part of a chain
I Reserved 6 rooms for myself and 11 of my friends from our Church for a Woman's conference at the City Center. The first Group arrived and went ahead and booked the first room. After paying and checking in, they went to the room and started look around. They were appalled. The room was less than clean. The Shower/Tub area was dirty, they found clump of hair on the carpet, there was water laying under the tv area. Her discription of the room was "Discusting". Needless to say, the rest of us chose not to check in and she requested her money back and alos did not stay there. Fortunately, we were able to get nearby accomodations that were excellent.
location and price
mattresses were very uncomfortable shower had some mold when flushing toilet there was an enormous noise in pipes
Location was excellent and walking distance to food and shopping
Not too much. Old deck to rooms. Hear people walking to rooms from time to time
Smelled like smoke. No outlets. Generally felt very old
Friendly and helpful Staff. Convienent location. Price was right.
Bed and pillows was very hard and uncomfortable. TV was not working properly (fixed) Sink was slow to drain (clogged) The shower area was very small. AC was noisy. Blinds in poor state lof repair. Motel appears to be quite old and in need of some major renovation.
Location Convenience Pillows and bed comfortable A computer was available for use Had a refrigerator and microwave in room Price was the best available
Venetian blinds were dirty and ends were bent and twisted Sticky spot on table and on floor where my feet kept getting stuck All tables rocked and weren't stable Both lamp shades were ripped and frayed Bathroom sink looked like it was falling off the wall Very low lighting/dark
The location was great. Within walking distance to supermarket and restaurants. Price was lower than other hotels in the area
The bathroom had no soap to wash our hands, we had to walk to the store and buy soap so we could wash our hands and take a shower. Breakfast was next to nothing.Bananas ,cereal, and pieces of old looking donuts from supermarket shelf. Went up the street to get real food at Dunkin Donuts and McDonalds
It was cheaper than most hotels in the area.
The facilities need loads of repairs, everything is very dated. We did not even have a alarm clock in the room.
close to downtown
old beds old place old stairs not enough parking had to park in street
It is a very old motel not fancy and definitely not 5 star but it provided everything that we needed. Walking to track and up and down broadway was a breeze. The staff very accommodating. Saturday brunch even included Sam the buglar.
The free parking lot was very small and you really need a small car.
The location is perfect. Two block walk from downtown and a 10 minute walk to the racetrack. You can arrive at the motel and leave your car parked for the duration of your trip. The price is very fair but no pool.
The room was very small with no refrigerator. The shower stall is very tight and I would recommend flip flops or a shower mat. Lots of dust in the room, on the blinds, corners of tv and in various areas of room. So the room maintenance could improve.
I liked the scenery around the motel.
I did not like the squeaking floors and ceilings or the sounds of the surrounding neighbors.
Close to area attractions. Complimentary great tasting Saratoga Springs bottled water. Free parking. No hidden fees.
Room was dingy and dark. Free WiFi was barely functional. Front desk took cash payment, but STILL charged my card for full cost of room. Bathroom toilet did not flush. I found hairs on my bed. Rug gave room a musty smell. Bathroom looked like a mildew laced germ festival. I was so thrilled to check out of this place--except for the being charged twice part.
Beds were terrible...no blankets...old...
The only good thing was location. Otherwise everything else was terrible PRICE. $239 per night, Room was dirty and small and uncomfortable. Not worth it at all.
Everything. Rip off for amount per night.
TV,microwave & little fridge were a big advantage. Water pressure was super.
staff wonderful, location convenient
continental breakfast weak, bathroom sink clogged, a lot of activity in the morning
Location is great. Staff is fine. It's worth the money if you don't mind a room that's not very clean.
They said it had WiFi but only some rooms did, not ours. The room was only given a cursory cleaning. The rugs weren't vacuumed and the floor had never been vacuumed underneath the furniture. There was dried food on the counter. No screens on the windows that you could open. Air conditioner had no workable controls. It was only on or off. You couldn't lower the fan.
