Located in the center of Concord, easy access to area historical attractions
Small room, small bath
Friendly, accommodating staff Great food and service in the restaurant Location Free parking and WIFI
Staff, rustic feel
The Concord Inn has a perfect position on the main square of Concord, in a charming colonial home with a rich history.
I can't speak for the rooms on the other floors, but our room was on the ground floor, facing the parking lot. Unfortunately, the smells from the kitchen delivery area, coupled with the old carpet in the hallways, left a garbage smell hanging in the air that made everything about our room seem dirty. In actual fact, the room was clean, but the whole lower floor and hallways throughout are in desperate need of a carpet change.
Concord as a charming and interesting American city and the Colonial Inn are great places to stay, far more interesting than staying in a chain hotels located close to highway intersections.
easy walking to downtown. Staff was great. rooms very clean
rooms were small but clean and comfortable. A little pricey for the small room
The "Master Suite" contained a bathroom that was slightly larger than 2' x2'. If you dared to actually sit on the toilet, your knees would hit the door, preventing it from shutting. The shower was smaller than an airplane bathroom. The room smelled of copius bleach use, but the mildew and mold were still obvious for anyone with a nose. The only place this place is still running is that it is the only gig in town. Drive the extra 30m to the Doubletree Cambridge for a place twice as nice for half the price.
The location was good and the food was fine.
Price of room was excessive for a small musty room with tiny bathroom. The place seemed mainly a restaurant with someone at the front door to seat people which is a bit odd in a hotel. Staff not overly helpful.
Location and restaurants in hotel
room was under street level so windows were right at ground level. It made for loud traffic all night.
The room did not meet expectations for the price. Restaurants also a bit overpriced for service.
The atmosphere makes you step back in time. The staff was very accommodating.
It was a little difficult getting to my room. The lay out of the inn's rooms is a bit unusual.
within walking distance of attractions, shops, restaurants ;outdoor dining; comfortable room
they are renovating some common areas
In addition to friendly, helpful staff, the location is perfect for taking walking tours and close to attractions for short trips by car. I would recommend the Colonial Inn to anyone planning a trip to Concord.
Very comfortable, modern in an old building, not a cookie cutter hotel.
Variety of restaurants Some staff
Some staff Hard bed Smell in corridor
Staff were lovely and the restaurant was also very good. We ate dinner and breakfast there. Our room was over the parking lot and yet very quiet, clean and very comfortable.
Even though the bathroom was clean and modern, it did not have enough places to hang towels or to put things in the shower. These are minor things but annoying.
Access to restaurant and tavern in the Inn. Walking distance to shops and other restaurants. Historic and charming Inn!
Connection on wi-Fi keeps timing out an cannot get good cell coverage in room to do work.
The location was great, the rooms were very clean and the staff friendly and accommodating.
The 'grab and go' breakfast hours for weekdays were limited (only 6:30-8:00), not ideal if you are there for a leisure trip. The blankets are a little thin.
I stayed at the separate building called Rebecca's and it's more an apartment. I do stay here regularly though and the charm of the hotel being colonial is just great. The rooms have comfortable beds which for me is most important. The bar has 2 bars, restaurants and the staff is really nice and helpful.
Historical site in the Concord Town.
The room is too small and not comfortable for a double beds. Not convenient to carry big suitcases with narrow stairs and the bed is like in the half - basement. Staff is not helpful. Although it says breakfast included, Sunday is the exceptional.
One happy young woman at the front desk among terse, curt and unfriendly others. A lovely server in the dining room named Sheila. The location was nice.
I caught a bad chill due to the cold room. I asked for the heater to be fixed 3 times but finally after the 4th complaint they put a cheap space heater in the room, plugging it into an outlet in the bathroom making it dangerous to get up in the dark. The food was less than the description of the food in the menus. The desserts, for example, were disasters. Al in all this was an inferior hotel for such an historic venue. I was very disappointed given the cost.
Warm and charming hotel with history. Consistent quality of service and friendlyness. Good noise free heating system keeps room warm in winter.
The last times I was very satisfied with the quality of food presented in both restaurants. This time, I had dinner once in the Liberty. The Fish and Chips had a strange cinnamon flavor. The french fries although cut from real potatoes had a warmed up again consistency. I have had this dish much better before in the same restaurant.
Great location in center of town Nice breakfast Great "old colonial" feel, the place to stay in Concord
location outstanding. breakfast good portions and service.
room at front of hotel was noisy, parking can be difficult if you arrive at the wrong time
Everything was perfect!
