Loved it! The Condor is truly a small diamond in the rough of Brooklyn. Incredibly clean, comfortable, and accommodating. Especially appreciated John at the front desk, and his help with public transit directions. All of the desk staff were great. The patio in the back is a great asset, as is the free breakfast. Will definitely return if my daughter attends Pratt. My only complaint was that parking is a little inconvenient/scary, but I come from the suburbs. I know it’s not an easy thing in the city.

King bed was comfortable and linens were upscale. Bathroom was well appointed--especially liked the jacuzzi tub. Breakfast was nice--especially waffles you make yourself. Like coffee in room in addition to the continental breakfast downstairs. Love, love this hotel!

When we arrived (about 10:30pm)the gentleman was very friendly and accomodating..upgraded our room which turned out to be perfect with lots of room. Because we were not there for business or pleasure but for our daughter who will be having medical treatments for the next 6mths.. the manager suggested working with us on the price if we continued to stay at their hotel, which was something we were hoping for. Very awesome. Breakfast had a good variety and surroundings were very clean in room, hallways, sitting room and bathrooms. Found parking right outside building. Would definitly recomend and will be back again. My suggestion is that the bathroom have a shelf or counter to put your things (clothes, cosmetics and stuff in general) especially when sharing with another person. My other suggestion is a larger TV for the rooms..because of the small size it made it diffucult to lay in bed to watch.

The staff was very welcoming. I actually was concerned about the twin beds, but they were fine. Very comfortable. (However, I'm 5'9" and if I was any taller...might find them a little too small). The best feature is the reception desk. No matter how many calls I made to front desk or when I just walked by, they were very friendly and helpful. It was a good location for me, since the other part of my party was in a nearby condo. However, I'm not sure if it's the best location to do other stuff (eg shopping, dining). However, the cab was always there on time and in just a few minutes. Good breakfast, including make your own waffles I didn't like the way the heat was blowing. Too loud in middle of night. I ended up turning off on 2nd and 3rd nights. I was fine, since the bedding was nice and warm. I also thought they should have not only washed the glasses in the room in the room sink, but replace with glasses that were washed in a real dishwasher! A little cut up fresh fruit would have been nice for breakfast, not just the apples and oranges provided.

Very helpful staff who really assisted me and my sister in finding a battery for my camera when I realised I had left it behind. The room was clean and the beds were especially comfortable. The bath was a little on the small side and there was no minibar but these were minor detsils.

Rooms were nice, good basics, sparkling clean, new decor, odd area of town, but cabs came quickly when called, and not very expensive to move to where I needed to go. Wish it wasn't out in the middle of nowhere and I could have walked to any stores or shops.

Being out of Manhatten the hotel was very quiet at night. The room was spacious & very clean, the bed was huge, my 6ft 6" partner even got lost in it & it was very comfy. The addition of a fridge & kitchen area was a useful addition to the room. The inclusive breakfast was great. Good value for money compared to Manhatten hotels. Staff we've very helpful & knowledgeable. The area appears run down & gives the impression of not being very safe but we walked back & forth from the subway station( a 10 min walk at a leisurely pace) at all hours of the day & eve & we felt perfectly safe. Nothing major but they could improve in the following areas in my opinion. The shower runs cold after not very long so if there are 2 or more of you make sure you get in first! The light were above the bed & so very bright when you are aid in bed, could do with some less bright bedside tables. Also switches for the lights are in the headboard and a few times my partner knocked them in the middle of the night & blinded us with light! As a side note & not a fault of the hotel but something to bear in mind. Make sure you tell Manhatten taxi drivers that the hotel is on Park & Franklin, close to Flushing. We found none of the taxi drivers knew where the hotel was just by the name & the street address. So be prepared for some taxi drivers to refuse to take you.
