It was decent. I wasn't impressed with the fact that there weren't that many channels to select from, but overall descent. I didn't like that there wasn't a pool, microwave in rooms, or refrigerators. |

I really enjoyed the view. Our window faced the park and we were there for the Chicago Blues Festival which we could see from our window and the big fountain and the dance bandshell. Chicago is a great city! |

The location was perfect, near Grant Park. Our mattresses were a little too firm for us. The shower could have had more water pressure, maybe it was because we were on the 11th floor. |

The bed was the most comfortable. I was also pleased with the cleanliness of my room. The garage parking valet was less than accommodating and did not have a pleasantattitude at all. We arrived back to the hotel to p/u our car (after check-out) and while I knew that I needed to pay for the additional time in cash, He did not have change from my $20, neither did the doorman. The gift shop would not give me cash unless I purchased something. |

They messed up my reservation and chek-in. They checked me in with wrong reservation made by travel agent which I requested to cancel two days before my arrival regardless of I showed a booking.com reservation print-out when I checked in. The booking.com reservation was right one which I made by myself after requesting cancellation of travel agent reservation by calling the hotel. |

Room was very well kept and presented, housekeeping staff were excellent, lovely bed. Location is great, views very very nice. Staff were generally very nice and helpfuln Service and quality of food in bar area was very poor. Only one member of staff was on, he was very very slow to serve us as we were ordering food instead of just drinks. When we did order, a few of the menu options were unavailable, there were additional charges for everything, including ordering a salad instead of fries. |

I really like this hotel first of all Hotel is very good location . It ıs very near to everywhere I want to visit . It s located downtown so I could go wherever by walking . Also ıt s near the lake so at morning its a really pleasure to go lakeside . The rooms are really comfortable and the beds are twin beds . I and my friend really sleep very well . Hotell staff are very friendly and helpfull. |

The room was nice and we got a great deal through booking.com, however when we first got there and checked in, we were supposed to get the Lake Front King room with a view of Millennium Park, Buckingham Fountain and Lake Michigan...what they gave us was a standard room with the only window facing the side of some building. Luckily I had my email printed from booking. ...continuing, she said we could go back down to the front desk and get the proper room, so we got there and had no trouble getting the key, the manager when I had explained the first time, before going up to the 1st room, when they told me I was confused, said out loud "a Lake Front King room for $? dollars, you're crazy" even though that was indeed the deal from booking.com... |

The view of the lake and Buckingham Fountain. It is a beautiful old hotel. No room service, dining room was closed, room too warm, bed uncomfortable, and had to cross a picket line to enter. If the information about the restaurant closure and lack of room service had been available on the website, I would not have selected this hotel. We checked out early. Thanks for helping ruin our 40th wedding anniversary. |

The breakfast menu was interesting and I tried something different each day It was good to have a flat screen TV in the room but the screen defination was poor. It would be good to have BBC Worldwide as a program choice. |
