Al 7 jaar lang stakend personeel voor de ingang van het hotel. Zij maken elke dag vanaf 06.30 uur met potten en pannen oorverdovend lawaai |

Erg comfortabel, de kamers zijn redelijk groot en hebben goede voorzieningen als een TV, telefoon, koffiezetapparaat en een relaxed bed. |

Het uitzicht in de "binnenste ring" kamers is, op zijn minst, niet geweldig te noemen. Verder is de kamer zelf (en ook de gang er naar toe) nodig toe aan onderhoud (veel achterstallig onderhoud). |

De service was matig maar niet slecht. Liften waren best snel. Centraal gelegen. Sommige kamers hebben deuren die de kamer scheiden van de andere kamers ernaast. Dit is niet erg geluiddicht. Airco was in kamers met ramen niet heel goed en produceert behoorlijk wat luchtcirculatie. Niet heel dicht bij een metrostation, dit is 10 minuten lopen bijna. Ik weet niet of ik nu dubbel heb betaald, ik moest achteraf het totale bedrag afrekenen met aftrek van een bedrag dat ik al betaald zou hebben met creditcard, dit is enigszins verwarrend en ik ga dit ook checken met mijn bank. |

Hotel heeft een gunstige ligging tov winkels en horeca, tevens een mooi uitzicht op het park en Lake Michigan. TV-toestel had ee storing die niet werd opgelost, ondanks klachten hierover. |

Prima kamer, ruim. Lekker bed met goede matrassen. Vriendelijk personeel, zowel bij de balie, als bij het ontbijt. Altijd behulpzaam. |

I have stayed twice at the Congress Plaza Hotel. Each time, I have enjoyed a large, clean, comfortable, well appointed room with spectacular views of Grant Park and Lake Michigan. The staff is responsive, efficient and professional. The bar, restaurants, exercise facilities, gift shop and public areas are well done and provide a great value. The location, a few blocks from the loop, has allowed me to roam the city and suburbs without a car. I will remember my visits to Chicago more fondly because of my happy stays at the Congress Plaza Hotel. |

I was a beautiful hotel. I don't normally answer these questionaires, but this hotel had a fantastic, classy feel about it. The staff were more than exceptional and I had one of the most enjoyable stays. I will definately stay at this hotel again when I go to Chicago. |

The room size, the size of the bed, the location, the nice television, and the option of making a pot of coffee in the morning, although I did not do so. It did get a little toasty in the room and we had to sleep with the windows open. We were on floor 11, but I imagine that closer to the bottom floors, sleeping with the windows open might get noisy. But we slept very, very well. |

Excellent location in the Loop, close to the train, lovely to see the park and the lake and we enjoyed the walking distance to many attractions. |

Close to everything, ease of access, wonderful old world decore which would have been even better with an injection of loads of money...we had a great view of the lake and the park across from the hotel. Everything worked and the bed was very comfortable. There was an industrial dispute while we were staying there which did not affect us but it seems they do not employ union labour, not great that the hotel employs non union staff particularly in the hotel industry. |

we had a Lakeview room and the sunrise over the lake and the Sat night fireworks were special The water pipes are old and the bathroom smelled horrible |
